帯状の雄タブを収容可能な箱部と、前記箱部の内壁に向かって付勢することにより、前記雄タブを厚み方向に沿って前記内壁との間に挟持する挟持片とを備えた雌端子であって、
前記挟持片が、前記箱部における前記雄タブの挿入方向手前側において支持されて挿入方向奥側に延設されているとともに、前記箱部の内側に突出して雄タブに接触可能な端子接触部を有し、前記端子接触部の挿入方向奥側に前記箱部に対してスライド可能な支点を有し、挿入された前記雄タブの先端で挿入方向内側に押圧することにより前記端子接触部を前記箱部の雄タブ接触側に移動させる作用部を有することを特徴とする雌端子。
