Description

The present invention relates to a surgical drape with a liquid receiving pocket used in a surgical operation.

During surgery, it is common practice to cover the body surface other than the surgical field with drape for the purpose of keeping the surgical field sterile. This drape is often used with a liquid receiving pocket, and the body fluid and washing liquid that have flowed out are collected in the liquid receiving pocket.

FIG. 6 is a perspective view showing a state of use of the drape 60 with a liquid receiving pocket, and shows a case of ophthalmic surgery. An opening 62 is formed in the drape 60, and the opening 62 is used by being attached in accordance with the position of the eye 61 which is a surgical field. Further, since the cleaning liquid or the like flows exclusively in the direction of the eyes 61a due to the inclination of the face, the liquid receiving pocket 63 is positioned in the vicinity of the temple.

By the way, especially in facial surgery, the patient may gradually change the angle of the face by raising (or lowering) the jaw from fear. Then, a cleaning liquid or the like flows on the forehead or cheek side, and the liquid receiving pocket 63 located in the temple cannot be caught and falls to the floor. Therefore, like the drapes 65 and 67 shown in FIG. 7, the liquid receiving pocket 64 that surrounds the opening 62 in a U shape (FIG. 7A), or the liquid receiving that surrounds the entire circumference of the opening 62 in a round shape. A pocket 66 has been proposed (FIG. 7B) (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 3-13295 (FIGS. 1 and 2)

However, even as the liquid receiving pockets 64 and 66 surrounding the opening 62 in a U shape or in a round shape as described above, the pocket inlets 64a and 66a often do not open well. That is, when the face is in the supine state, the shape of the face of the upper and lower eyes and the upper part of the eye is such that it temporarily swells horizontally or rises and then descends, and the pocket inlets 64a and 66a are located at the locations that swell horizontally or above. For this reason, there is a possibility that the cleaning liquid or the like may come out beyond the pockets 64 and 66 without opening well. In order to open it well, there has been proposed one in which an opening auxiliary member such as an aluminum ribbon is provided in the entire pocket inlets 64a and 66a (for example, Patent Document 1), but this leads to high costs. Further, if the pocket inlets 64a and 66a are positioned at the descending positions, the pocket inlets 64a and 66a are considered to open better than the pocket inlets of the drapes 65 and 67 shown in FIG. Not practical.

Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a surgical drape that can satisfactorily collect the washing liquid and the like flowing out even if the patient changes the angle of the face or body.

The surgical drape according to the present invention is a surgical drape in which an auxiliary sheet having an opening corresponding to the surgical field and a liquid receiving pocket is attached on a patient-coated sheet having an opening corresponding to the surgical field. One of the covering sheet and the auxiliary sheet is provided with an adhesive or a joining member at least on both sides of the opening and along the liquid receiving pocket direction. In the present application, the term “sheet” includes a film, and the term “film” includes a sheet, and these are not particularly distinguished.

When using this surgical drape, the auxiliary sheet is rolled up to form a bank, and the skirt portion of the bank of the auxiliary sheet is adhered or bonded to the covering sheet by the adhesive or bonding member, and the liquid receiving pocket Form a bank along the direction. The washing liquid or the like flows along the bank and is collected in the liquid receiving pocket.

As described above, in the past, the cleaning liquid was collected by providing a liquid receiving pocket so as to surround the opening. However, the present inventors changed this idea and formed a bank, thereby forming a predetermined bank. The cleaning liquid or the like is guided to the liquid receiving pocket provided at the position. Thereby, a cleaning liquid etc. can be collected favorably. Further, since the adhesive or the joining member is inexpensive, the cost is not increased so much.

By the way, if it is provided to the practitioner (user) as a surgical drape in a state in which the bank has been formed in advance, the practitioner can save the trouble of adhesion or joining for forming the bank. However, there are various preferences for the height, position, range, etc. of the bank depending on the practitioner, and there is a concern that the operability may be lowered by a slight difference in the bank especially in ophthalmic surgery that requires delicate operation.

In this respect, in the present invention, since the auxiliary sheet is appropriately attached to the covering sheet by the adhesive or the joining member as described above, the practitioner himself (or the assistant) can form the bank according to his / her preference. . In some cases, it is possible to use a surgical drape without forming a bank at all, and there is almost no fear of impairing the operability of the operator.

Now, in order to form a bank, it is necessary to fasten at the left and right foot portions of the bank, but if one foot portion is fastened in advance, the trouble of forming the bank is reduced. And it is more flexible, such as the height of the bank (the amount that the auxiliary sheet can be handled), and the bank can be easily operated if the structure is such that the opening side of the left and right skirts is fastened and the outside is appropriately fastened. ,preferable. In particular, if the covering sheet and the auxiliary sheet are attached at a portion surrounding the openings, it is easy to set the positions of both openings serving as a surgical field.

Examples of the adhesive or bonding member include a double-sided adhesive tape and a pair of surface fasteners. In the case of the adhesive member, handling of the surgical drape is improved by protecting the adhesive member with a release tape.

In addition, the shape of the adhesive or the joining member may be any shape as long as it has a portion along the liquid receiving pocket direction, and may be a flat shape other than a belt shape. If the adhesive or the joining member is formed in a band shape, it is possible to form a bank that naturally faces the liquid receiving pocket if it adheres or joins in accordance with the band without paying attention to the direction of the bank for adhesion / joining. The bank formation operation is simple. On the other hand, if the adhesive or the joining member is wide in a planar shape, the shape of the bank can be freely formed, and the bank can be more suited to the preference of the practitioner.

According to the surgical drape according to the present invention, the user (the practitioner or an assistant thereof) can form a bank, and the cleaning liquid or the like is guided to the bank and is well collected in the liquid receiving pocket. The risk of spilling on the floor and the like is reduced. In addition, the bank can be arbitrarily formed by the practitioner, and the height of the bank can be arbitrarily set. Therefore, the bank can be easily formed according to the preference of the practitioner.

<Embodiment 1>
FIG. 1 is a plan view showing a surgical drape 10 according to Embodiment 1 of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing a usage state of the surgical drape 10 and shows a state in which it is used for ophthalmic surgery. FIG. 3 is an enlarged sectional view taken along line AA shown in FIG. However, the right side portion of the opening 62 in FIG. 3 represents a state in which a bank is formed.

This surgical drape 10 is provided with an auxiliary sheet 12 on the front side of a patient covering sheet 11. The sheets 11 and 12 are provided with openings 62a and 62b corresponding to the surgical field, and are positioned so that the openings 62a and 62b are aligned with each other, and the peripheries of the openings 62a and 62b are bonded by heat fusion. (Adhesive spot 19) (Note that the adhesive spot 19 may be bonded using a double-sided adhesive tape). An adhesive film 14 is attached to the front side surface of the auxiliary sheet 12, and the opening 62 c provided in the adhesive film 14 is smaller than the openings 62 a and 62 b of the covering sheet 11 and the auxiliary sheet 12. The skin side surface 14a of the adhesive film 14 that protrudes inward from the openings 62a and 62b is attached to a patient for use. In addition, before sticking, the skin side surface 14a of the adhesive film 14 is covered with the release film 13 (indicated by a two-dot chain line in FIG. 3).

A liquid receiving pocket 17 is formed in the auxiliary sheet 12. The liquid receiving pocket 17 is formed by folding back the hem portion of the auxiliary sheet 12 and bonding both sides (side adhesive portions 17b) by heat fusion, and is provided so as to be positioned in the patient's temple when using ophthalmic surgery. ing. A rod-shaped shape retaining member 18 is attached to the liquid receiving pocket 17 along the pocket inlet 17a. The shape-retaining member 18 can be plastically deformed, and the pocket inlet 17a can be held in an open state by bending it.

On the front side surface of the covering sheet 11 between the covering sheet 11 and the auxiliary sheet 12, a long (band-like) double-sided adhesive tape (adhesive member) 15 is provided along the pocket 17 direction on both sides of the opening 62 (pocket entrance). It is attached (toward 17a) (FIGS. 1 and 3). In the state before use, the front side surface of the adhesive tape 15 is protected by the release tape 16 so as not to stick to the opposing auxiliary sheet 12 (see the left side in FIG. 3).

Examples of the material of the covering sheet 11 include a water-repellent or hydrophobic nonwoven fabric or a synthetic resin film. Further, as the auxiliary sheet 12, it is preferable to use an olefin resin film such as polyethylene or polypropylene, or a laminated film thereof so that the pocket 17 portion can store the liquid satisfactorily.

Next, how the surgical drape 10 is used will be described.

First, the release film 13 is peeled off, and the skin side surface 14a of the adhesive film 14 is pasted around the patient's surgical field (around the eye 61). At this time, the liquid receiving pocket 17 is positioned on the side of the patient's temple and the two adhesive tapes 15 are positioned above and below the eyes 61. Next, the release tape 16 is peeled off, and the auxiliary sheet 12 is rolled to form a mountain shape (the shape of the bank 21 is formed), and the skirt portion of this mountain (bank) is attached to the adhesive tape 15 to form the bank 21 ( See right side in FIG. 3, FIG. 2).

According to the drape 10 in which the bank 21 is formed in this way, even if the patient changes the angle of the face to some extent, the washing liquid that has flowed out is blocked by the bank 21 and does not go to the forehead or cheek side. To the liquid receiving pocket 17. Therefore, it hardly falls to the floor.

In addition, the drape 10 of the first embodiment can set the height of the bank 21 according to the preference of the practitioner, and may not form one or both of the banks 21 depending on the situation. It will never be.

<Embodiment 2>
4 is a plan view showing a surgical drape 20 according to Embodiment 2 of the present invention, and FIG. 5 is an enlarged cross-sectional view taken along the line BB shown in FIG. However, the right portion of the opening 62 in FIG. 5 represents a state in which the bank 21 is formed. In the figure, the same components as those shown in FIGS.

In the second embodiment, the auxiliary sheet 22 is divided into two parts: a first auxiliary sheet 23 having an opening 62 b and a second auxiliary sheet 24 having a liquid receiving pocket 17. Further, a double-sided adhesive film (adhesive member) 25 is disposed on the front side surface of the covering sheet 11 between the covering sheet 11 and the first auxiliary sheet 23 so as to surround the adhesion portion 19 around the openings 62a and 62b. . In the state before the drape 20 is used, the front side surface of the adhesive film 25 is protected by the release film 26 (the release film 26 is cut so that it can be easily peeled off), and the first opposing surface is provided. It does not stick to the auxiliary sheet 23 (see the left side in FIG. 5). The first auxiliary sheet 23 is larger than the range in which the adhesive film 25 is disposed in consideration of the amount to be handled.

Examples of the material of the first auxiliary sheet 23 include a water-repellent or hydrophobic nonwoven fabric or a synthetic resin film, and examples of the material of the second auxiliary sheet 24 include an olefin resin film such as polyethylene or polypropylene, or These laminated films etc. are mentioned.

In the surgical drape 20 of the second embodiment, since the wide adhesive film 25 is used unlike the first embodiment, it is possible not only to form the bank 21 straight but also to form, for example, an arc shape. The degree of freedom in forming the bank 21 increases. Moreover, since the adhesive film 25 exists also on the front side, the bank 21 can be formed on the front side.

Similarly to the first embodiment, the drape 20 of the second embodiment can be easily guided to the liquid receiving pocket 17 by the bank 21 even if the patient slightly changes the face angle, and almost spills on the floor. You can do that.

As described above, the surgical drape according to the present invention has been specifically described with reference to the drawings showing examples. However, the present invention is not limited to the illustrated examples, and is appropriate as long as it can meet the above purpose. It is also possible to carry out by modifying the above, and they are all included in the technical scope of the present invention.

For example, in the above embodiment, the adhesive tape 15 and the adhesive film 25 are used to form the bank 21, but the present invention is not limited to this, and the patient covering sheet and the auxiliary sheet may be joined by a pair of hook-and-loop fasteners. (For example, a saddle type engaging member is provided on the front side surface of the patient covering sheet, and a loop type engaging member is provided on the skin side surface of the auxiliary sheet).

In addition, although the said embodiment showed the thing of the structure which provides adhesive / joining members, such as adhesive tape 15, in the covering sheet 11, it is good also as a structure which provides an adhesive / joining member in the skin side surface of an auxiliary | assistant sheet | seat.

Moreover, although the case where it uses for ophthalmic surgery was mentioned as an example in the said embodiment, it is not restricted to this, The surgical drape of this invention can be used for various surgery.
