Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an air cleaning unit and an air conditioner.
However, in order to efficiently collect viruses and bacteria with such apatite, it is required to improve the contact efficiency between the apatite and the virus. For example, the eyes of the air cleaning member are considerably reduced. Treatment is required. However, there is a concern that if the eyes of the air cleaning member are made smaller, the air flow becomes worse and the air purification efficiency per unit time decreases.
The subject of this invention is providing the air purifying unit which can improve the collection capability of a virus or a microbe, without reducing the air purifying efficiency per unit time.
The air cleaning unit according to
Here, the charging unit charges viruses or fungi contained in the air. In addition, the air cleaning part has apatite. For this reason, if this air purification unit can be installed so that the charging unit is upstream of the air flow direction and the apatite is downstream of the air flow direction, the more strongly charged virus and bacteria are apatite due to electrostatic action. Will be attracted. For this reason, this air purification unit can improve the collection capability of a virus and a microbe, without reducing the air purification efficiency per unit time.
The air purification unit according to claim 2 is the air purification unit according to
Here, the air purification part further has a sterilization part. For this reason, in this air purifying unit, viruses and bacteria adsorbed on the apatite are removed by the sterilization unit. For this reason, in this air purifying unit, generation | occurrence | production of malodor and air pollution can be suppressed, without performing cleaning and replacement | exchange frequently.
The air purification unit according to a third aspect is the air purification unit according to the second aspect, wherein the sterilization unit has a photocatalyst. Here, the “photocatalyst” refers to a substance having a photocatalytic ability as a property of a substance. Typical examples of the photocatalyst include titanium oxide, and other examples include metal oxide photocatalysts, carbon-based photocatalysts, transition metal nitrides, and oxynitrides. Examples of the metal oxide photocatalyst include strontium titanate, zinc oxide, tungsten oxide, and iron oxide. Also include fullerene like C 60 as a photocatalyst of the carbon-based. Such a photocatalyst can be made visible by changing the band gap by ion implantation or the like.
Here, the sterilization part has a photocatalyst. Therefore, if the photocatalyst is irradiated with light in an appropriate wavelength range, the photocatalyst removes viruses and fungi collected in the dust collecting portion. For this reason, in this air purifying unit, viruses and bacteria can be easily removed.
An air purification unit according to a fourth aspect is the air purification unit according to any one of the first to third aspects, wherein the charging unit generates ultraviolet rays by discharging. Here, “discharge” refers to plasma discharge, corona discharge, and the like.
Here, the charging unit generates ultraviolet rays by discharging. For this reason, the photocatalyst is activated by the ultraviolet rays generated by this discharge. Therefore, it is not necessary to arrange a special light source in the air cleaning unit. As a result, the cost for the light source can be reduced.
The air purification member according to claim 5 is the air purification member according to claim 3 or 4, wherein the air purification part is an electrode.
Here, the air purifier is an electrode. Moreover, the air purification part contains the photocatalyst. For this reason, viruses and fungi adsorbed on the electrode are decomposed by the photocatalyst. For this reason, in this air purifying member, the cleaning efficiency of an electrode can be improved.
The air conditioner according to claim 6 is an air conditioner for supplying conditioned air indoors, and includes a casing, a blower, a charging unit, and an air purifier. The blower blows out the air sucked into the casing indoors. The charging unit charges viruses or bacteria contained in the air. The air cleaning unit is provided downstream of the charging unit in the air flow direction. Moreover, this air purifying part has an apatite and a disinfection part. Apatite adsorbs viruses or fungi. The sterilization unit removes viruses or bacteria.
Apatite is considered to be charged from the viewpoint of chemical structure, and is said to have the ability to form hydrogen bonds and ionic bonds with other substances. Moreover, since viruses and fungi are composed of sugar chains and proteins, they have a weak charge. The reason why apatite has a high adsorptive capacity for viruses and bacteria is thought to be due to the action of charge between them.
Here, an air cleaning unit is provided downstream of the charging unit in the air flow direction. Moreover, this air purifying part has apatite. For this reason, viruses and bacteria are given a stronger charge in the charging unit before being collected in the air cleaning unit. Therefore, viruses and bacteria are easily adsorbed by the apatite. As a result, the collection efficiency of viruses and bacteria can be improved. Moreover, this air purifying part has a disinfection part. For this reason, the bacteria and bacteria adsorbed on the apatite in the air cleaning part are removed by the sterilization part. Therefore, in this air conditioner, it is possible to suppress the generation of malodor and air pollution without frequently performing cleaning and replacement.
An air conditioner according to a seventh aspect is the air conditioner according to the sixth aspect, further comprising a dehumidifying unit. The dehumidifying unit dehumidifies the air. Further, the air cleaning member is disposed on the downstream side of the dehumidifying portion in the air flow direction. Here, the “dehumidifying section” is a dehumidifier using an adsorbent such as a heat exchanger or zeolite.
Here, the dehumidifying unit dehumidifies the air. Moreover, an air purifying member is arrange | positioned in the air flow direction downstream of a dehumidification part. Normally, in an air conditioner, the relative humidity tends to be low on the downstream side of the heat exchanger regardless of heating operation or cooling operation. Basically, viruses containing SARS tend to prefer low humidity environments. For this reason, in this air conditioning apparatus, viruses can be efficiently collected. When the air cleaning member contains an adsorbent such as apatite or zeolite, the apatite or zeolite tends to adsorb moisture instead of virus in an atmosphere with high humidity. For this reason, the downstream side of the heat exchanger, which is relatively dry, can improve the virus collection efficiency. By the way, department stores and the like usually have a large amount of heat produced indoors, so they may be air-conditioned even in winter. Therefore, the present invention is not limited to the case where the air conditioner is heating.
The air conditioner according to claim 8 is the air conditioner according to claim 6 or 7, wherein the sterilization section is a photocatalyst.
Here, the sterilization part is a photocatalyst. Therefore, if the photocatalyst is irradiated with light in an appropriate wavelength range, the photocatalyst removes viruses and fungi collected in the dust collecting portion. For this reason, in this air conditioning apparatus, viruses and bacteria can be easily removed.
The air conditioner according to claim 9 is the air conditioner according to claim 8, wherein the apatite and the photocatalyst are the same substance.
That is, this substance is photocatalytic apatite. Photocatalytic apatite is, for example, a substance obtained by substituting a part of calcium atoms constituting calcium hydroxyapatite with titanium atoms and the like, and has both a photocatalytic function and an adsorption ability peculiar to apatite.
Conventionally, as a photocatalyst, a mixture of an adsorbent such as zeolite and titanium oxide is used. On the other hand, it is known that apatite has high adsorption characteristics for viruses and bacteria, and it is conceivable that apatite is configured to replace the adsorbent in the previous form in order to increase the effect of the sterilization part. However, even if such a configuration is adopted, it is only effective against viruses and fungi adsorbed in the vicinity of titanium oxide that expresses a catalytic function, and when adsorbed on apatite but there is no titanium oxide in the vicinity. It is feared that the virus and bacteria remain on the apatite without being removed, and the generation of malodor and air pollution occur after a long period of time. However, the apatite having the photocatalytic ability can almost completely remove the adsorbed virus and fungus because the adsorption site itself has a photocatalytic function. For this reason, in this air conditioning apparatus, generation | occurrence | production of malodor and air pollution can be suppressed without performing cleaning and replacement | exchange of an air purifying part frequently.
An air conditioner according to a tenth aspect of the present invention is the air conditioner according to the eighth or ninth aspect, wherein the charging unit generates ultraviolet rays by discharging.
Here, the charging unit generates ultraviolet rays by discharging. For this reason, the photocatalyst is activated by the ultraviolet rays generated by this discharge. Therefore, it is not necessary to arrange a special light source in this air conditioner. As a result, the cost for the light source can be reduced.
An air conditioner according to an eleventh aspect is the air conditioner according to any one of the eighth to tenth aspects, wherein the air purifying unit is an electrode.

In general, in order to carry a photocatalyst on a fiber, a technique such as injection molding in a state where a photocatalyst powder or the like is dispersed in a resin is employed. However, such a fiber gradually deteriorates each time it is irradiated with light having a wavelength at which the photocatalyst causes a catalytic reaction. For this reason, the filter comprised from such a fiber loses its strength gradually. Further, generally, when a foreign substance is mixed into the resin, the object tends to become brittle.

An apatite-type photocatalyst has a higher ability to adsorb viruses and fungi than conventional titanium oxide and the like, but sufficient activity may not be obtained depending on the state of the light source. On the other hand, a general photocatalyst material such as a metal oxide photocatalyst or a carbon-based photocatalyst is relatively high regardless of the state of the light source because it easily changes the main wavelength region of light in which a catalytic reaction occurs by controlling the crystal structure or ion implantation. Shows activity. Therefore, such a mixed photocatalyst can remove viruses and fungi adsorbed on apatite in the vicinity of a general photocatalyst such as a metal oxide photocatalyst or a carbon-based photocatalyst even when the state of the light source is poor.
