Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for informing the caregiver of getting out of bed or sitting.
Detection of getting out of bed or leaving a seat in a hospital or facility is absolutely necessary for safety management. For this reason, a mat switch that operates when a person steps on the floor near the bed or a photoelectric sensor is installed on the bed. It was intended to detect the caregiver leaving the bed.
However, since the mat switch is conspicuously installed, it can be avoided without being stepped on, and the photoelectric sensor reacts with anything other than a human being, so that there are many malfunctions and low reliability.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a method for informing of getting out of bed or leaving a seat by directly installing it on a bed or a wheelchair in order to make a sensor for detection inconspicuous, and an apparatus using the method.
The first means is to provide a panel type sensor and a mat switch that can be installed directly on a bed or a wheelchair by operating with an increase or decrease in human load.
The second means is that a signal conversion adapter for delaying or inverting the electrical signal of the panel type sensor or mat switch is provided.
The third means is to provide an alarm device that is connected to an existing nurse call device in a hospital or facility, and has a wired and wireless output of voice and sound, and an indicator lamp. The wired system includes a cable and a power line communication and a modem, and the wireless system includes a mobile phone.
In the method and apparatus of the present invention, the presence or absence of a person is detected by a panel sensor or a mat switch that uses increase / decrease in load, and a signal is output only when the person disappears due to signal conversion. In addition to being able to easily and accurately detect absences and seats, the user can arbitrarily select a notification means that matches the actual situation.
Panel-type sensor or mat switch that can be easily installed under a bed mattress or wheelchair seat, a connection adapter that can be easily connected to an adapter that converts the signal of the sensor and a nurse call device, and a wired chime and a wireless chime And a portable radio receiver can be used in combination.
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is an example of a panel type sensor, where (a) is a plan view and (b) is a cross-sectional view.
100 is a panel type sensor, 101 is a resin cover, 102 is a welded portion of the resin cover, 103 is a cable extraction portion, 104 is a cable for extracting a contact signal, and 105 is an electrode plate.
The
The surrounding resin cover is easy to clean when it becomes dirty.
The feature of this panel type sensor is that it is thin and can be easily installed without being conspicuous when installed on a bed or a wheelchair.
FIG. 2 is a diagram for explaining the principle of the panel type sensor.
201 is
If a load of 210 (for example, the weight of a person) is applied to 101 from the top, the air presses 201 and 203 while compressing the
When the load further increases, 205 between 201 and 203 is compressed and contracts, and 202 and 204 finally come into contact with each other. When 202 and 204 come into contact with each other, the signal is taken out by 209a and 209b, and the terminals are electrically closed.
What is important here is the existence of 208, and since 208 has an appropriate amount, a change in load of 210 slows down the operations of 201 and 203, and as a result, smoothes or delays the operation of the contacts. This is one of the elements that realize the apparatus of the present invention.
If 208 is not present, the change in load is directly transmitted to the electrode, so that the contact operates finely, and the contact signal is frequently output to cause malfunction.

FIG. 5 is a diagram showing an example in which panel sensors and mat switches are installed on a bed.
When installed in this manner, the sensor is not visible at all in appearance, and there is a feature that obstruction to the work of the nurse and the resistance of the non-nurse are eliminated.
Also, by considering the place where the panel sensor or mat switch is placed, it is possible to notify only the rising of the upper body.
