また、羽根同士の連結に際しても、強度が要求されており、前記する掛止部(掛止突部)と被掛止部(掛止溝)との単なる掛止にあっては、長期に亘って安定した連結強度を維持できなくなる虞れがあった。しかも、掛止部(掛止突部)と、被掛止部(掛止溝)との掛合部が露出して、清掃時に邪魔になり怪我させてしまう問題もあった。
