Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a light distribution inspection apparatus for determining the appropriateness of light distribution by acquiring light distribution of a vehicle lamp or the like irradiated on a light distribution screen as an image by an image acquisition means such as a CCD camera and performing image processing on the image processing apparatus. About.
There are various proposals as this type of prior art. However, in
However, in the first conventional technique (Patent Document 1), a wide space for arranging the device is required, and the
Further, the second prior art (Patent Document 2) has a problem that the device structure becomes complicated, such as requiring the
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems of the prior art, and an object thereof is to provide a light distribution inspection apparatus having a simple structure capable of determining with high accuracy whether or not a light distribution of a vehicle lamp is appropriate. .
In order to achieve the object, in the light distribution inspection apparatus according to
In the vehicle lamp light distribution inspection apparatus according to
(Operation) The entire apparatus is simple and compact with a structure in which the inspection object (vehicle lamp) and the image acquisition means are arranged facing each other across the light distribution screen (semi-transparent screen). The image acquisition means acquires the light distribution pattern of the inspection target (vehicle lamp) irradiated on the translucent screen as an image (acquires the light distribution pattern of the inspection target (vehicle lamp) reflected through the back of the screen as an image). However, since the image acquisition means faces the inspection object (vehicle lamp) and the semi-transparent screen, an accurate image corresponding to the light distribution of the inspection object (vehicle lamp) can be acquired.
Note that the image processing unit and the determination control unit are configured by, for example, a microprocessor built in the image processing apparatus. In addition, as a semi-transparent screen, for example, a milky white acrylic plate having a light transmittance of 60% is possible because the light / dark boundary of the light distribution pattern reflected through the back side of the screen is clear and image processing by the image processing unit is easy. Is preferred.
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the light distribution inspection device according to the second aspect, the light distribution screen is configured to be movable laterally between the vehicular lamp and the image acquisition unit, and the image acquisition unit is The light emitted from the light emitting element itself of the vehicle lamp can be acquired as an image.
(Operation) When the inspection is performed in the form in which the light distribution screen is moved to the side between the vehicle lamp and the image acquisition means (the light distribution screen is not provided between the lamp and the image acquisition means), the image acquisition is performed. The light emission of the light emitting element itself of the lamp is acquired as an image by the means, the image is analyzed by the image processing unit, and the image data processed by the image processing unit is compared with the set reference data by the determination control unit. The suitability of lighting of the light emitting element is determined.
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in the light distribution inspection apparatus according to the second or third aspect, the image acquisition unit is configured by a CCD camera, and the CCD camera acquires the light distribution of the lamp as an image through the transflective screen. In this case, based on the number of pixels in the vertical and horizontal directions that contribute to the formation of the light distribution image of the lamp in the area sensor that constitutes the light receiving surface of the CCD camera, the determination control unit determines the light distribution of the lamp. It was configured to determine suitability.
(Operation) An area sensor, which is a light receiving surface of a CCD camera, has a configuration in which a large number of pixels are arranged in a grid pattern, and a pixel that receives light outputs a current proportional to the amount of light received. Yes. Then, when the light distribution of the lamp through the transflective screen or the light emission of the light emitting element not through the transflective screen enters (images) the area sensor which is the light receiving surface of the CCD camera, the light is received from each pixel constituting the area sensor. Since a current having a magnitude proportional to the amount is output, pixels that have an output exceeding the threshold are analyzed by the image processing unit, and a light distribution image of the lamp (an image of a light distribution pattern reflected through the light distribution screen) or A light emission image of the light emitting element is formed.
When the CCD camera acquires the light distribution of the lamp as an image via the transflective screen, the image processing image unit calculates the number of pixels in the vertical and horizontal directions that contribute to the formation of the light distribution image). The determination control unit sets a reference value (the number of reference pixels in the vertical and horizontal directions corresponding to the reference light distribution image data), which is set in advance (the number of pixels in the vertical and horizontal directions contributing to the formation of the light distribution image). ) To determine the suitability of the lamp as a light distribution.
In particular, as a method for comparing light distribution image data (light distribution image data of a lamp via a screen) analyzed by the image processing unit with preset reference data (reference light distribution image data of a lamp), Although it is possible to compare the total number of pixels that contribute to the formation of the light distribution image of the lamp and the overall shape of the light distribution image, only the number of pixels in the vertical and horizontal directions that contribute to the formation of the light distribution image of the lamp can be compared. Accurate comparison is possible, and with this configuration, the load (load) applied to the determination control unit is reduced, and the processing time is also shortened.
According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, in the light distribution inspection apparatus according to the third or fourth aspect, the image acquisition unit is configured by a CCD camera, and the CCD camera images the light emission itself of the light emitting element of the lamp without passing through the screen. In the case of acquiring as, the determination control unit emits light based on the number of pixels contributing to the formation of a light emitting image of the light emitting element for each of the light emitting element corresponding regions of the lamp in the area sensor constituting the light receiving surface of the CCD camera. It was configured to determine whether the element was turned on or off.
(Operation) As a method of comparing the luminescence image data (the luminescence image data of the light emitting element of the lamp without passing through the screen) analyzed by the image processing section with the preset reference data (reference luminescence image data of the light emitting element) It is possible to compare the total number of pixels contributing to the formation of the light emitting image of the light emitting element and the overall shape of the light emitting image, but only by the number of pixels contributing to the formation of the light emitting image for each of the light emitting element corresponding regions. Accurate comparison is possible, and with this configuration, the load (load) applied to the determination control unit is reduced, and the processing time is also shortened.
Furthermore, since the suitability is determined for each light emitting element corresponding region, it is possible to determine which light emitting elements are not lit, and it is possible to determine that the lighting failure of the lamp is due to the non-lighting of some of the light emitting elements.
Further, even if the light amount of the light emitting element at a predetermined position is low, the lamp may be suitable as a whole. Therefore, by changing the setting reference value for each light emitting element corresponding area, the degree of freedom of the light emitting element lighting inspection can be expanded.
6. The light distribution inspection apparatus according to
(Operation) When performing lighting inspection of light emitting elements, set the lamp so that the optical axis of the CCD camera dedicated to lighting inspection and the center axis of the lamp coincide with each other, and place the translucent screen on the side (the side between the lamp and the camera). ) Is inspected in the form retracted. When performing a light distribution inspection of the lamp following the lighting inspection, the slide camera is moved so that the optical axis of the CCD camera dedicated to the light distribution inspection coincides with the center axis of the lamp and the distance from the lamp is an appropriate distance. At the same time, a light distribution inspection is performed after the transflective screen is moved in front of the lamp. Although it is possible to share the light distribution inspection and the lighting inspection with one CCD camera, the light emission of the light emitting element that is the imaging target at the lighting inspection and the half of the imaging target at the light distribution inspection. Since the light flux density is significantly different from the light distribution of the lamp through the transmission screen (the light distribution pattern of the lamp reflected through the light distribution screen), the incident light quantity adjustment in the CCD camera each time in the lighting inspection and the light distribution inspection However, once the diaphragm of each camera is adjusted by providing a dedicated CCD camera for each inspection, it is not necessary to adjust the diaphragm thereafter.
In addition, by moving the slide plate, the lamp light distribution inspection dedicated CCD camera and the light emitting element lighting inspection dedicated CCD camera can be moved in the left-right direction and the front-rear direction, and can be used for inspection objects of different sizes (vehicle lamps). The CCD camera driving mechanism (sliding plate moving mechanism) can be simplified compared to a structure in which each camera is driven independently.
According to a seventh aspect, in the light distribution inspection device according to any one of the second to sixth aspects, the lamp body and the lens cover of the vehicular lamp are fixed by ultrasonic welding.
(Function) Since the vehicular lamp is assembled by fixing the lens cover to the lamp body containing the light emitting element by ultrasonic welding (ultrasonic vibration welding), vibration and heat generation during ultrasonic welding are performed. This causes adverse effects such as peeling of the solder welds that constitute the power supply path to the light emitting element, breaking of the bonding wire in the light emitting element, and disconnection of the electrical wiring, and deformation of the crystal structure of the light emitting element. However, it is difficult to determine with the naked eye whether or not there is a defect in a part of the light emitting element in the vehicle lamp that is a product. In addition, when there are two types of vehicle lamps designed to accommodate light emitting elements with different light distribution angles in each destination country, it is necessary to visually determine which destination country the lamp is the product. It is difficult to distinguish. However, by inspecting with the light distribution inspection device according to any one of
According to the light distribution inspection device according to claim 1 (2), since an accurate image corresponding to the light distribution of the inspection object (vehicle lamp) can be acquired by the image acquisition means, the distribution of the inspection object (vehicle lamp) is arranged. A simple and compact light distribution inspection apparatus capable of inspecting the suitability of light with high accuracy by image processing is provided.
According to the third aspect, the suitability inspection of the light emitting element can be performed together with the light distribution inspection of the lamp or independently.
According to the fourth aspect, an inexpensive light distribution inspection apparatus capable of performing the light distribution inspection in a short time is provided.
According to the fifth aspect, there is provided an inexpensive light distribution inspection apparatus capable of performing not only the light distribution inspection but also the lighting inspection in a short time. In addition, since the reference value can be set for each light emitting element, the light emitting element lighting inspection with a higher degree of freedom can be performed.
According to the sixth aspect, there is no trouble of adjusting the diaphragm for adjusting the amount of incident light in the CCD camera between the light distribution inspection and the lighting inspection, and the inspection can be performed smoothly as much.
Moreover, since it can be used also about the vehicle lamp from which a magnitude | size differs, it is excellent also in the versatility of a test object.
According to the seventh aspect, by checking with the light distribution inspection device of the present invention, whether or not the light distribution of the lamp is appropriate (determination of which specification) or / and whether or not the lamp is lit (existence of a light emitting element that does not light) Therefore, it is very effective for inspection of a vehicular lamp that houses a plurality of light emitting elements in a lamp chamber defined by a lamp body and a lens cover that are ultrasonically welded.
Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described based on examples.

In these drawings, the light distribution inspection apparatus according to the present embodiment is irradiated with a motorcycle tail-and-stop lamp (hereinafter referred to as a lamp) 10 which is an inspection object (vehicle lamp) and the light distribution of the
As shown in FIG. 2, the
The
In addition, the specification of the light source of the
As described above, regarding the
3 and 4, the
Further, the
That is, one
The
Further, the light distribution pattern reflected on the
The image processing apparatus
The
When light enters (images) the area sensors that are the light receiving surfaces of the
For example, the light distribution image of the
即ち、図6(a),(b)に示すように、形成された配光画像A1,A2の中心位置O1,O2における横方向長さLx1,Lx2および配光画像の中心O1,O2から左右方向に所定距離dだけ離間する位置x1,x2における縦方向長さLy1,Ly2(エリアセンサにおける配光画像の形成に寄与する画素群の中心を通る横方向の画素数および同画素群の中心から左右方向に所定距離だけ離間する位置における縦方向の画素数)を求める。
Further, the
On the other hand, the light emission image of the
Further, the
Further, the
In addition, in the case of the light distribution inspection of the lamp 10 (when the light distribution image data of the
In addition, in the case of the LED lighting inspection (when the light emission image data of the
Next, the processing flow of the LED lighting inspection and the lamp light distribution inspection by the light distribution inspection device of this embodiment will be described with reference to FIG. Note that the lamp light distribution inspection determines whether the
First, when the LED lighting inspection is selected as an inspection item, in step S1, the
On the other hand, if YES in step S3, a green OK mark is displayed on the
In both cases of YES and NO in step S7, the
On the other hand, in the case of YES in step S7 (when the light distribution image clears the determination standard in the horizontal length and the vertical length), the elongated frame indicating the horizontal and vertical measurement positions displayed on the
