Abstract

Claims (9)
- 内燃機関のオイルシステムであって、
エンジンによって駆動され、主要オイル供給装置を通して主要軸受けギャラリ、カムギャラリおよび油圧作動装置へと加圧オイルを供給するオイルポンプと、
主要オイル供給装置と主要軸受けおよびカムギャラリの間に接続され、ギャラリへのオイルの流れを選択的に制限して、それにより油圧作動装置へ供給される油圧を、ギャラリに供給される油圧より高い所望の運転レベルまで上昇させるよう動作可能な圧力調整器とを備えるシステム。 - 油圧作動装置がカムフェーザである、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 油圧作動装置が一連の切り換えリフタである、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 油圧作動装置がステッピングバルブトレーンである、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 圧力調整器の弁が、ギャラリへのオイルの流れを制限して、より低いエンジン速度でカムフェーザへの所望の最低油圧を維持する開放オリフィスと、より高いエンジン速度で開放し、流れの絞りを減少させ、それによってカムフェーザが動作するために供給される油圧の上昇を制御するバイパス弁とを含む、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- カムギャラリが主要軸受けギャラリからオイルを受け取る、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- ポンプの入口に接続されて、エンジンのオイルパンからオイルを抜き取るオイルピックアップを含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- オイルポンプと主要オイル供給装置との間に接続されたオイルフィルタを含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 内燃機関のオイルシステムであって、
オイルピックアップに接続して、そこからオイルを抜き取る入口と、主要エンジンオイル供給装置に接続する出口とを有するオイルポンプと、
カムフェーザと、カムギャラリ供給装置を通してカムギャラリに接続された主要軸受けギャラリとにオイルを分配する主要オイル供給装置と、
主要軸受けギャラリ内のオイルの流れを制御可能な状態で制限し、それによって主要軸受けギャラリへより低い油圧を提供し、カムフェーザへは比較的高い油圧を提供してこれを作動する圧力調整器とを備えるシステム。
