Description

The present invention proposes a method for preventing the phenomenon that excessive water collected in a flower pot accumulates in a saucer, and this water constantly immerses the bottom of the flower pot, causing the roots of the plant to rot.

The surplus water in the flowerpot will naturally be stored in the saucer, but the bottom of the traditional saucer is flat, so the accumulated water will always immerse the flowerpot, which causes the roots of the plant to rot. .

It is common to use a saucer when placing a flower pot indoors. The pots must be watered as needed, but often too much water accumulates at the bottom of the pots, causing the roots of the plants to rot.

As a countermeasure, the roots of the plant can be prevented from decaying by separating the water accumulated in the tray and the bottom of the flower pot by a necessary dimension. The purpose of this invention is to invent a saucer with a shape to prevent root rot of flowerpots.

As a means for achieving the above object, a convex portion of about 15 mm was provided at an arbitrary location on the bottom of the tray. It has been confirmed that the water can be easily achieved because the water accumulated in the tray by this convex portion prevents the flower pot from being constantly submerged.

Details of the examples are described below.
FIG. 1 shows a state where a flower pot is placed on a commercially available saucer. 1 is a flowerpot, 2 is a commercially available saucer. You only need to put the right amount of water in the flowerpot, but you will be overkill, and the excess water will accumulate in the saucer. The state is shown in 3.

FIG. 2 shows a state in which the flower pot is placed in Example 1 according to the present invention. Reference numeral 1 denotes the flower pot. 4 is a saucer body of Example 1 according to the present invention. Reference numeral 5 denotes a convex portion which is a feature of the present invention, and has a height of about 15 mm. In addition, it is not necessary to prescribe | regulate especially the member of this protrusion, and the formation method, The member is the same as the plastic material currently used for the commercially available saucer at the time of shaping | molding.
Also, the height is too low (5 mm or less), so it does not make sense for the purpose, so about 1 to 2 cm is preferable. 6 shows the situation where the surplus of water in the flowerpot has accumulated. As long as the excess water height of 6 is lower than the height of the convex portion 5, the flower pot 1 is not always flooded. Therefore, root decay of the plant can be prevented.

Next, examples according to the present invention will be described.
FIG. 3 is a plan view of the first embodiment.
4 is a cross-sectional view taken along lines A and B in FIG.
Example 1 is the saucer body 4 of FIG. 2 described above. Reference numeral 5 denotes a convex portion which is a feature of the present invention.
The number of the convex portions 5 was set to four so as to be stable when a flower pot was placed on the convex portions 5. The heights of all the four convex portions 5 were 15 mm.

That is, a plurality of convex portions 5 are arranged on the bottom of the saucer body so as to be uniformly distributed over the entire bottom of the saucer body with a predetermined space. The space between the convex parts 5 has the function of accommodating excess water that has flowed out from the bottom of the flowerpot. The upper surfaces of the plurality of convex portions 5 need to have a predetermined uniform height. The upper surfaces of the plurality of convex portions 5 have a function of supporting the flower pot in contact with a place on the bottom surface of the flower pot that does not block the drainage hole at a position that is higher than the bottom of the tray body by the predetermined height.

FIG. 5 is a plan view of the second embodiment.
6 is a cross-sectional view taken along lines A and B in FIG. Reference numeral 7 denotes a tray body. Reference numeral 8 denotes a convex portion, which is a feature of the present invention. The shape of the protruding portion 8 is such that the bottom of the tray body is circular, and the convex portions are concentrically distributed when viewed from the center. The meaning of this shape is to stabilize the flower pot and not to close the drain hole of the flower pot, as described above. The height of the convex portion 8 was 15 mm.
FIG. 7 is a plan view of the third embodiment.

8 is a cross-sectional view taken along lines A and B in FIG.
The purpose of the third embodiment is to effectively use the water stored in the tray.
For this purpose, a water permeable material 10 is attached to the center of the saucer body 4 of the first embodiment shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, and the water stored in the saucer using the capillary phenomenon of the water permeable material 10 is used as a flower pot. It is a saucer that has the function of supplying water gradually.
Reference numeral 9 denotes a tray body to which the water-permeable material 10 is attached.
That is, in Example 3, the water permeable material 10 was disposed in the space between the convex portions 4 of Example 1. This water-permeable material 10 is composed of a block-like body extending from the space between the convex portions to a portion in contact with the drainage hole on the lower surface of the flower pot supported on the upper surface of the convex portion. The water-permeable material refers to a material that has water absorbability and stretchability (eg, sponge). The block-shaped body may be rod-shaped, columnar, or string-shaped. The stretchability may be any stretchable member that maintains the initial block shape when left naturally and can be deformed to the height of the convex portion 4 by the load of the flowerpot.

FIG. 9 is a plan view of the fourth embodiment.
10 is a cross-sectional view taken along lines A and B in FIG.
The purpose of this Example 4 is to give the features of the present invention to an existing flower pot.
Although the convex part 5 of Example 1 is the Example integrated with the saucer 4 and the convex part 8 of Example 2 is the Example integrated with the saucer 7, this Example 4 can provide a convex part in an existing flowerpot. A mechanism was devised.
11 is a circular board, 12 shows a convex part. The convex portion 12 is integrated with the circular plate 11.
That is, if Example 4 shown in FIGS. 9 and 10 is placed in a ready-made saucer, the object of the present invention can be achieved even with a ready-made saucer.
In the fourth embodiment, the convex portion 12 is fixed as a circular plate. However, this shape is not particularly limited, and the convex portion 12 can be held in any shape or mechanism.
These members need not be particularly limited, but in Example 4, a plastic material was used.
