一般にコールドピルガー圧延等で加工を施された管の内面には潤滑油や切断切粉といった異物が大量を溜まっており、これを除去するためには、加工後、成るべく速い段階でこれを取り除く方が、圧延油の温度が高く粘度も大きいので能率的である。そのため従来においては、圧延、切断工程に引続き同じラインで管端からエアブローを施す工程を設け、これらの異物を除去している。すなわち、図3は、従来の内面異物除去エアブロー装置にある。この図に示すように、切断工程後の搬送ライン1上に管2の一時的な受け場所3を設け、管2の端部の来る位置に支持体7に固定されたエアブローノズル4を取付け、管2の存在を接近センサーで検知して、一時的な受け場所3にてエアブローノズル4より管内面にエアブローを施して管2の内面の異物を取り除く方法が行われている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上述した内面の異物を取り除く方法であると、管2の曲りが大きい場合には製品管端面がエアブローノズル軸線から外れ、この場合には、その端部は必ずしもエアブローノズル4の軸線上にないために、エアが管2の内面を通らず、製品内面に留まっている油等が効率的に除去できないと言う問題があった。

上述したような問題を解消するために、発明者らは鋭意開発を進めた結果、例え管の曲がりがあったとしてもエアが管の内面を通るように、管の端部がエアブローノズルに向くように管の端部を固定する新たな管端固定装置を設けたことにある。その発明の要旨とするところは、
(1)長尺管の内面異物を搬送ラインで除去するための管端固定装置において、一端をシリンダ駆動する管端固定用アームで構成された該管端固定装置によって、管端部をエアブローノズルの軸線上に固定したことを特徴とする管の内面異物除去エアブローのための管端固定装置。
(2)前記(1)に記載の管端固定装置において、接近センサーを配設し、該接近センサーによって管がエアブローノズルの近傍に来るのを検知し、管端固定用アームで管端部をエアブローノズルの軸線上に固定したことを特徴とする管の内面異物除去エアブローのための管端固定装置にある。

以下、本発明について図面に従って詳細に説明する。
図1は、本発明に係る管端固定装置の正面概略図であり、図2は、同じく本発明に係る管端固定装置の上面概略図である。この図1または図2に示すように、切断工程後の搬送ライン1上にエアブロー実施のためのエリアを設け、そのエリア内に管2の一時的な受け場所3を設けると共に、管2の端部の来る位置にエアブローノズル4を取付け、接近センサー8で管2の存在を検知すると、接近センサー8に連結されているアーム駆動用エアシリンダ6を作動させる作動操作器9に伝達され、アーム駆動用エアシリンダ6が作動して管端固定用アーム5によって管の先端がエアブローノズル4の近くに来るように作動し、エアブローのための管2の一時受け場3の上で、管2の端部を管端固定用アーム5で固定する。

この管端固定用アーム5は閉の状態で、エアブローをタイマーでセットした時間だけ掃射し、タイムアップしたところでエアブローが停止し、管端固定用アームが開となり、管製品搬出動作を行う。これによって管2が曲がっていたとしても確実に管の端部がエアブローノズル4に向き、エアが管2の内面を通り、管の内面異物を効率良く除去することが可能となるものである。

以下、本発明について実施例によって具体的に説明する。
図1または図2に示すように、コールドピルガー圧延ライン上に本発明に係る固定装置を取付け、圧延後の管2の内面に残留している圧延油および切断切粉を除去する用途に供した。管端固定用アーム5を作動させるアーム駆動用エアシリンダ6は最大圧力1MPaである。接近センサー8で管2の存在を検知すると、アーム駆動用エアシリンダ6により管端固定用アーム5が回転し、管2の端部を管の一時受場3との間に挟み込み固定する。続いてエアブローノズル4から管2の内面にエアを送り込み、タイマーで設定された時間に達するとエアブローが停止、アーム駆動用エアシリンダ6で管端固定用アーム5を回転させ、これによって、管2を開放する。管2が曲がっていても管端固定用アーム5で確実に、かつ管2の端部を管の一時受場3上に固定し、エアブローを施すことができた。

【発明の効果】
以上述べたように、本発明により管内の異物が効率良く除去され、従来、管に付着したまま持ち出されていた圧延油を回収することができる。また、次の脱脂工程においては、予め内面油の大部分が除去されていることから、脱脂液の劣化を軽減することができる。さらに、除去すべき油の温度が高いうちに、すなわち、油の粘度が大きいうちにエアブローを施すので、除去効率が大きく、従来の脱脂液のみによる内面洗浄よりも、異物を除去するという点で極めて優れた効果を奏するものである。
