Description

  The present invention relates to a siding accessory. More specifically, the present invention relates to a siding accessory which is attached to a base material, supports a siding material, and has a trunk edge function.

Conventionally, siding materials such as ceramic siding and metal siding are often used as exterior materials for buildings. In general, the siding material is attached to the trunk edge after supporting the end portion of the adjacent siding material with a siding accessory and protruding the joint. At this time, since the trunk edge is fixed to the base material, the space formed by the base material and the siding material is in a hermetically sealed state, and the air permeability is poor. There is a problem that the durability of the siding itself is concerned. In order to solve such a problem, various techniques have been proposed (see, for example, Patent Documents 1 and 2).

  In order to improve the air permeability, it is usually done by providing ventilation holes on the wooden trunk edge, dividing the trunk edge and providing a gap for ventilation, and attaching it to the base material.
