Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to waterproof shoes.
Conventional shoes are formed as follows. 5 and 6 show a conventional shoe by a bag sewing method (also called a California method). FIG. 5 is a perspective view showing a
The cut pieces of the
The entry of water into the
The waterproof shoes described in the above publication are not flooded in a short time. However, even if these shoes are soaked in water for a long time, they may get wet from the insole and are not waterproof enough. Even if the circumferential seam and the vertical seam do not intersect with each other, there is a problem that a hole is formed in the waterproof film and the waterproof film does not have a waterproof function, so that there is still a risk of inundation. It is also conceivable that water that has penetrated up to the thread of the seam reaches the insole through the gap between the seams of the surface material and the like by capillarity. The present invention has been made in view of such a situation, and an object of the present invention is to provide a waterproof shoe having high waterproofness that is difficult to be submerged even when used under severe conditions in mountain climbing shoes, golf shoes and other sports shoes. Yes.
The waterproof shoe according to the present invention includes a sole and an upper, and the upper includes a front material and a back material, and the back material includes a waterproof film. The sole includes an insole, and a vertical seam of a front material facing the insole has an end of a seam that is sewn up above the insole surface. The top layer and the back material overlapped and folded into the bottom of the midsole, and the end of the overlay extends from the outer circumference of the midsole to the middle of the bottom of the midsole. With circumferential seam worn.
All of the waterproof shoes in the first half of the shoe that have the vertical seam of the front surface have the seam end, and 50% or more of the other vertical seam portions have the seam end. It is preferable.
Further, it is more preferable that all the other vertical seams have the seam ends.
In the waterproof shoe, the end position of the seam is preferably 3 mm or more and 10 mm or less upward from the midsole surface.
Furthermore, it is more preferable that the position of the end of the seam is 5 mm or more and 9 mm or less upward from the surface of the midsole.
This waterproof shoe is not easily submerged even under severe conditions such as being used for a long time in a state of being immersed in water and has an excellent waterproof function.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail based on preferred embodiments with appropriate reference to the drawings.
1 to 4 show a
The material, shape, dimensions, and the like of the upper 5 are the same as those of known shoe uppers. As the
For the
In FIG. 2, the
As the
In FIG. 2, the
The thread used for sewing may be a thread that is usually used for manufacturing shoes. However, when the yarn is made of a material having water absorption, it is waterproofed in advance or the seam is sealed. The seam is sealed mainly by coating with a thermoplastic resin having a low melting point such as polyethylene. Specifically, the seam is preferably sealed by coating with a film of the thermoplastic resin. When the yarn is composed of multifilaments, it is preferably treated with an impregnating agent so that the gaps between the filaments are filled. This is to prevent capillary action from occurring in the sewing thread. A monofilament thread is preferable as the sewing thread in that there is no gap between the filaments. From the viewpoint of waterproofness, monofilament yarn made of aliphatic polyamide or polyester is more preferable.
In general, the ease of water immersion varies depending on the location of the shoe. The first half of the shoe is easily hit by rain and water. Further, in the first half of the shoe, the pressure of water hitting the seam when the exposed seam advances due to human running or the like is high. On the other hand, the latter half of the shoe is often covered with the bottom of the pants, and the pressure of water hitting the seam is small. Therefore, the seam of the first half of the
However, the latter half of the
The distance H from the
The
As the material of the
The
The manufacturing method of the
Thus, the upper 5 in which the
It is preferable that the width W from the periphery of the middle bottom where the
The
In the
The present invention can be applied to various shoes that require waterproofing, such as athletic shoes such as golf shoes and soccer shoes, wading shoes, and ordinary men's shoes.
