Abstract
Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an optical disc that records and reproduces information by irradiating a laser beam through a light transmission film.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In general, an optical disc such as a DVD (Digital Versatile Disc) that reproduces, records, and erases information using laser light is known as an audio, image application, and computer memory. In this type of optical disc, the recording density of the optical disc has been increased by increasing the aperture of the lens and shortening the wavelength of the laser beam. In order to increase the recording density, it is necessary to suppress the lens aberration by shortening the distance between the objective lens of the optical pickup and the reflective film of the optical disk. That is, in order to suppress the coma aberration, it is necessary to reduce the thickness of the portion of the optical disc through which the laser beam passes.

As a high recording density optical disc, for example, information consisting of pit rows or recording grooves is formed on the surface of an optical disc substrate having a thickness of 1.1 mm, and the track pitch is 0.32 μm and the shortest recording pit is 0.16 μm. The signal system is a 2T system on a disk having a diameter of 12 cm and has a recording capacity of 22 GB to 27 GB. A light transmission film having a thickness of about 90 μm to 110 μm for protecting the information surface and transmitting laser light is formed on the information surface on the surface of the optical disk substrate on which pit rows or recording grooves are formed. .

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, a coating that prevents the charging by hydrophilizing the surface using ultraviolet rays or plasma as described above, an antistatic film of an inorganic substance, an ultraviolet curable resin protective film containing a lubricating filler (solid), or a high melting point The coating of the mixed layer of polyester resin and cured resin silicon-based comb-type graphite resin (solid) has a region (solid lubrication) in which each outermost surface is solid and the dynamic friction coefficient increases when a load is applied to it. Therefore, it is difficult to remove if dirt is attached, and if the dirt is removed, the coating is destroyed and the effect is not maintained, and further, the light transmittance is reduced due to being solid. It was.
[0008]
In addition, as described above, when a protective layer of a curable resin containing a slip agent is formed or the surface is coated with a silane coupling agent containing a water-repellent or oil-repellent group, a solvent-based resin is used. Since the outermost surface becomes a liquid film and the dynamic friction coefficient has an inflection point when a load is applied to this, the region where this dynamic friction coefficient becomes large (fluid lubrication, because the liquid layer is thick, the friction head Therefore, it is difficult to remove the dirt when it adheres, and the light transmittance is reduced due to the influence of the liquid.
The present invention has been devised to pay attention to the above problems and to effectively solve them. An object of the present invention is to provide an optical disc that can maintain a protective effect without destroying the coating even if dirt is removed, and can maintain a good light transmittance.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The invention according to claim 1 is an optical disc in which at least a recording film or a reflective film and a light transmissive film are laminated on an optical disk substrate on which an information surface is formed, wherein the light transmissive film includes a protective layer and the protective layer. An optical disk comprising a liquid layer formed on the surface of a protective layer, wherein the thickness of the liquid layer is set in a range of 0.7 to 1.0 nm.
[0010]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an embodiment of an optical disk according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0015]
Here, the system in which the lubricant of the present invention (modify polymer silicon, acrylic copolymer, solvent-based slip agent, etc.) oozes out is not used when the UV curable resin is cured (crosslinked) without using the oxygen inhibition phenomenon. The liquid lubricant oozes from the cured resin due to the crosslinking density and cure shrinkage. The amount of oozing is determined by the amount of lubricant mixed, the crosslinking density and cure shrinkage of the UV curable resin, and the lubricant that does not bleed remains evenly dispersed in the 3D network structure of the UV curable resin (on the surface layer). Does not bias the lubricant a lot). By rubbing (rubbing) the cured UV curable resin, the lubricant dispersed in the UV curable resin oozes out from the surface more than the three-dimensional network structure (sponge-like structure). And the lubricant is sucked up to the surface by the frictional force). The amount of oozing, that is, the thickness of the

Next, since the general relationship between the shrinkage rate and the thickness of the liquid layer was evaluated, the evaluation result will be described. Next, since the general relationship between the Young's modulus and the thickness of the liquid layer was evaluated, the evaluation result will be described. FIG. 5 is a graph showing the relationship, FIG. 5 (A) is an overall view, and FIG. 5 (B) is an enlarged view of a part of FIG. 5 (A). Table 3 shows the data in FIG. Note that there is no correlation between the shrinkage rate and the Young's modulus.

[0026]
Next, the relationship between the amount of the modified polymer silicon, the acrylic copolymer, and the solvent slip agent in the light transmission film of the optical disk and the dynamic friction coefficient was evaluated, and the evaluation results will be described. FIG. 6 is a graph showing the relationship between the amount of the modified polymer silicon, the acrylic copolymer, and the solvent slip agent in the light transmitting film and the dynamic friction coefficient. Table 4 shows data of the graph of FIG.
[0027]
[Table 4]
[0028]
Here, the combination of the ultraviolet curable resin and each lubricant, the composition ratio thereof, and the like are exactly the same as those described with reference to FIG.
Here, with respect to the dynamic friction coefficient, the frictional force (R5 mm steel ball head, linear velocity 2.0 m / s, load 5 g, 1000 pass) is measured using an XY parallel ring balancer type ball-on-disk friction measuring machine. Asked. As is clear from FIG. 6, the light transmissive film of urethane acrylate UV curable resin is about 4% of modified high molecular silicon as a lubricant, about 6% of acrylic copolymer, and the light transmissive film of epoxy acrylate UV curable resin. It was found that the coefficient of dynamic friction was the smallest when the addition amount of modified polymer silicon was about 3% and the acrylic copolymer was about 6% as a lubricant. Thus, it turns out that the addition amount with which the dynamic friction coefficient becomes the smallest differs depending on the kind of the photo-curing resin and the kind of the additive.
[0029]
Next, since the relationship between the thickness of the liquid layer of the light transmission film of the optical disk and the dynamic friction coefficient was evaluated, the evaluation result will be described. FIG. 7 is a graph showing the relationship between the thickness of the liquid layer of the light transmission film of the optical disk and the dynamic friction coefficient. Table 5 shows data of the graph of FIG.
[0030]
[Table 5]
[0031]
Here, the amount of the modified polymer silicon added is adjusted so that the thickness of the liquid layer on the recording film is 0, 0.2, 0.5, 0.7, 1, 1.5, 2, 3, 5 nm. The prepared urethane acrylate UV curable resin was applied with a thickness of 98-100 μm using a spin cotter, and 1000 mJ / cm using a 3 KW high pressure mercury lamp. 2 A light transmission film is formed by curing by irradiation. The dynamic friction coefficient was measured using the same XY parallel ring balancer type ball-on-disk friction measuring machine as described in FIG. The frictional force (R5 mm steel ball head, linear speed 2.0 m / s, 10000 pass) under
[0032]
Next, since the relationship between the load and the dynamic friction coefficient was evaluated for the liquid layers of other materials, the evaluation results will be described. FIG. 8 is a graph showing the relationship between the load on the liquid layer and the dynamic friction coefficient. Table 6 shows the data of the graph of FIG.
[0033]
[Table 6]
[0034]
In this case, urethane acrylate ultraviolet rays having 4% modified high molecular silicon, 6% acrylic copolymer, 5% silicon lubricating filler, and 5% solvent slip agent as lubricants on the recording film are added. A cured resin and an epoxy acrylate ultraviolet curable resin to which 3% modified high molecular silicon is added as a lubricant are respectively applied with a thickness of 98 to 100 μm using a spin coater, and a light-transmitting film cured by using the above-described high-pressure mercury lamp is formed. is doing. Regarding the dynamic friction coefficient, using the same XY parallel ring balancer type ball-on-disk friction measuring machine as described above, the friction force (R5 mm steel ball head, linear velocity 2.0 m) with
[0035]
As is apparent from FIG. 8, a light-transmitting film made of urethane acrylate ultraviolet curable resin to which modified polymer silicon or an acrylic copolymer is added, or epoxy acrylate ultraviolet curable resin to which modified polymer silicon is added. It was confirmed that even when the load was increased, the light transmission film had a constant coefficient of dynamic friction and was constant at a small value, for example, about 0.05%. Therefore, in combination with the results shown in FIG. 7, it was confirmed that the dynamic friction coefficient can be maintained at a very small value regardless of the applied load when the thickness of the liquid layer is 0.7 to 1.0 nm. That is, when the
Further, the light transmittance at a wavelength of 400 nm of the light transmissive film (thickness: 100 μm) of each material used in the evaluation shown in FIG. 8 was measured with a spectroscope (Shimadzu Corporation). The measurement results are shown in Table 7.
[0036]
[Table 7]
[0037]
From Table 7, it was confirmed that a light transmittance of 85% or more can be secured except for the light transmission film of
Further, as a result of measuring the surface roughness with a scanning white light interference microscope NEW View 100 (ZYGO), the ten-point average roughness Rz 1.4 to 1.8 nm, the arithmetic average roughness Ra of the surface roughness was 0. It was 1 to 0.2 nm. Thus, it can be seen that the surface state of the light transmissive film having a liquid layer thickness of 0.7 to 1.0 nm with a constant dynamic friction coefficient even when the load applied to the light transmissive film is increased is good. In addition, if the fingerprint is forcibly attached to a light-transmitting film having a constant dynamic friction coefficient even when the load is increased and the film thickness is 0.7 to 1.0 nm, The surface roughness after wiping off and the coefficient of dynamic friction were the same as before wiping.
[0038]
Further, the surface of the light-transmitting film shown in FIG. 8 is wiped for 48 hours at a linear speed of 2.0 m / s with a steel ball head to which a nonwoven fabric is attached (the nonwoven fabric is replaced every 30 minutes), and friction force (load 10 g) , R5 mm steel ball head, linear velocity 2.0 m / s, 10000 pass) was measured to obtain a dynamic friction coefficient, which was compared with the initial value. As a result, the modified
