Description

【0001】

[Prior art]
Stretching exercises that stretch body muscles and improve body flexibility are widely used during warm-up of sports activities and rehabilitation.
[0003]
When a tube having elasticity is used during such stretching exercise, the muscle to be stretched can be gradually stretched using the elasticity of the tube, and the stretching exercise can be performed effectively. For this reason, elastic tubes have been widely used in the stretching exercise.
[0004]
FIG. 5 shows an example of stretching exercise using such a tube. The exercise shown in FIG. 5 is a stretching exercise that stretches the muscles of the lower limbs. A person M who performs this exercise grasps both ends of the tube 1 with the left and right hands, and hangs the center of the tube 1 on the sole of the foot. In this state, the knee is gradually extended against the elastic force of the tube 1 to stretch the iliac ligament.
[0005]
When performing such a stretching exercise, it is necessary to relax other muscles than the muscle used to stretch the knee. The reason is that if the body is strengthened by tensioning other muscles, the range of motion of the joint is narrowed, and the effect of the stretching exercise is reduced.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the stretching exercise using the conventional tube, as shown in FIG. 5, in addition to the muscle that stretches the knee, the muscle that is used to grip the tube 1, that is, the muscle other than the muscle that is used for the stretching exercise. There was also the problem of having to be nervous. Furthermore, there has been a problem that an effective stretching exercise using such a tube cannot be employed for rehabilitation of an elderly person or a sick person whose grip strength is reduced.
