軸長方向に配向された強化繊維に重量粉末を混入した合成樹脂を含浸させた重量プリプレグをシート状に加工した重量プリプレグシートを、前記芯材に巻回された軸方向プリプレグシートの竿元側の周面に巻回する工程と、
これら各プリプレグを焼成し芯材を脱芯して管状体を形成する工程とを含み、
前記軸方向プリプレグシートを形成する第1シートは竿元側ほど前記芯材に対する巻回幅が大きくなるような形状であり、
前記軸方向プリプレグシートを形成する第2シートは竿元側ほど前記芯材に対する巻回幅が大きくなるような形状であり、且つ、その竿元側端部から一定の軸方向範囲においては竿元側ほど巻回幅が小さくなり竿元側端部において巻回幅がゼロとなる形状であり、
