本発明は、車両用シートに取り付けられるチャイルドシートに係り、特に乳児から幼児までにかけて使用可能な、前記車両用シートに対して前後方向に取り付けを可能とするチャイルドシートに関する。

【従来の技術】
近年では、子供を車両へ乗車させる場合には、チャイルドシートの使用が義務付けられている。このチャイルドシートには種々のタイプがあるが、生後0ヶ月の乳児から4歳位の幼児まで使用することができるタイプが市場には多く見受けられる。

このようなタイプのチャイルドシートでは、生後0ヶ月から1歳未満の乳児を対象とする場合には、前記チャイルドシートのシート本体が、車両の進行方向に対して後ろ向きとなるように設置するようにしている。また、1歳から4歳位までの幼児を対象とする場合には、前記シート本体を車両の進行方向に対して前向きとなるように設置するようにしている。

上記のようなチャイルドシートの例として特許文献1に示される考案がある。
特許文献1に示される考案は、台座とシート本体とからなるチャイルドシートであって、乳児を対象とするチャイルドシートの場合には、前記台座を使用せず、シート本体のみを車両用シートに後ろ向きで設置するようにして、幼児を対象とする場合には、車両用シートに設置した前記台座に備えるようにして車両進行方向に対して前向きに設置するようにするものである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記のような構造のチャイルドシートであれば、乳児から幼児までの期間を使用することができる。しかし、このようなタイプのチャイルドシートでは特許文献1に示されるものを含む一般的なものは、チャイルドシートを乳児用(車両進行方向に対して後ろ向きに設置)の状態から、幼児用(車両進行方向に対して前向きに設置)の状態へ切り替える際等チャイルドシートを車両用シートに対して反転させて取り付ける場合、シートベルトによって固定されている前記台座若しくはチャイルドシートそのものを取外し、新たにシートベルトで固定しなおさなければならない。このようなシートベルトでの固定は、前記シートベルトを通す箇所が目視できなかったり、シートベルトを通す経路が複雑であったりする場合、前記シートベルトが捻じれてしまったり、誤った経路を通して固定してしまったりすることがあると共に、車両への取り付けに時間がかかる。

本発明では、乳児から幼児まで使用可能なチャイルドシートにおいて、乳児用から幼児用に切り替える際等チャイルドシートの取り付けを車両用シートに対して反転させて取り付ける場合に、シートベルトの固定をしなおす必要がなく、簡易かつ確実に脱着可能なチャイルドシートを提供することを目的とする。

上記目的を達成するために、本発明に係る脱着可能なチャイルドシートは、車両用シートに固定され、かつ車両の進行方向に対して前後どちらの向きにでも取り付け可能なチャイルドシートであって、前記車両用シートに取り付け自在に固定される台座と、前記台座に前後を入れ替えて脱着可能に装着されるシート本体と、前記台座と前記シート本体とのいずれか一方に設けた前記シート本体を前記台座に係止する複数の係合機構と、前記台座に対して前記シート本体を前後どちらの向きに配置した場合にも、前記複数の係合機構の少なくとも1つを介して前記シート本体を前記台座に固定するロック手段とを有することを特徴とする。

以下、本発明に係る脱着可能なチャイルドシートの実施の形態を図面を参照しつつ説明する。なお、以下に説明する実施形態は本発明に係る脱着可能なチャイルドシートの一部の実施形態に過ぎず、本発明はこれらに限定されるものではない。図1、図2は本実施形態に係るチャイルドシートを示す斜視図であり、図1は幼児を対象とする場合の使用状態を示す図であり、図2は乳児を対象とする場合の使用状態を示す図である。

本実施形態に係るチャイルドシート10の基本的構成は、幼児または乳児が着座する部分であるシート本体となるシェル12と前記シェル12を設置固定するための台座である第一の台座14とから構成される。

前記シェル12は、高剛性かつ軽量な素材で、いわゆるバケットシート状に形成され、当該シェル12をウレタン等のクッション材で覆うことにより乳児および幼児の保護シートとして用いられる。また、当該シェル12を傾倒(リクライニング)可能とする場合には、後述する補助部材としての第二の台座16を備えるようにすると良い。また、前記シェル12に前記第二の台座16を備える場合、前記シェル12の座面裏面には弧状に形成された摺動レール22を、前記シェル12の背もたれ面の裏面には後述するガイドピン30を摺動させる長穴32を備えたガイドレール24をそれぞれ備えるようにすると良い。

前記第二の台座16は、図3及び図4に斜視図を示すように前記シェル12の裏面に沿って配置されるため、いわゆるくの字状に形成される。前記第二の台座16の部位は大別すると、前記シェル12の座面裏面が接することとなる底部18と、前記シェル12の背もたれ面裏面が接することとなる背もたれ部20とに分けることができる。なお、底部18および背もたれ部20は、前記第二の台座16における各部位の名称であり、それぞれを分割可能に構成する必要はない。

背もたれ部20は、前記シェル12の背もたれ面裏面に沿った形状に形成され、前記底部18の後端側からくの字状に延設されている。また、前記背もたれ部20は、底部18に到る側と逆側の端部近傍(上部端部近傍)に、前記台座14と前記シェル12とを係合する際に使用する係合部材であって、前記シェルを傾倒させる際のガイド部材でもあるガイドピン30を備える。なお、本実施形態では、前記ガイドピン30は幅方向端部近傍に一対設けられる。また、前記ガイドピン30は、上述したガイドレール24に形成された長穴32に嵌合して当該長穴32を摺動可能なようにピン径を設定する。なお、前記ピン28(28A、28B、28C)およびガイドピン30はそれぞれ端部に一対づつ設けると記載したが、装着対象部材を貫通させるようにして設けても良い。
なお、上記第二の台座16の全体形状は、様々な形態が考えられるため、上記構成を具備していれば、上記形状に限定するものではない。

前記第二の台座16と前記シェル12とは、図4に示すように組み合わされる。つまり、ガイドピン30を前記ガイドレール24に形成された長穴32に挿通させ、前記レール22を前記ガイド溝26に嵌入させる。このようにして第二の台座16とシェル12とを組み合わせるようにすることで、ガイドピン30は長穴32に対して摺動可能であり、レール22はガイド溝26に対して摺動可能となる。よって、前記シェル12は、前記第二の台座16に対して傾倒可能となる。
