Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a covered yarn formed by twisting a flat yarn obtained by cutting a Japanese paper into a thin shape, and winding the yarn around an elastic fiber as a core, and a circular knitted fabric using the yarn.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A knitted fabric forms a knitted fabric by connecting yarn loops (loops) in order, which is richer in elasticity than a woven fabric, is light, has a large air content, and has heat retention. And it is soft and elastic. Also, since it is easy to sew, it is widely used as a clothing material. Among these knitted fabrics, circular knitting is a method of knitting yarn in a tubular shape, and is generally used for underwear, etc. The material of the yarn is cotton, wool, hemp, polyester depending on the application. Synthetic fibers are used.
[0003]
Even in the same circular knitting, the nature of the circular knitted fabric naturally varies depending on the material and thickness of the yarn used. By the way, yarn made of Japanese paper has been developed as a yarn for knitting. This is a “Japanese paper weaving yarn” according to Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 7-118975, and the yarn is “Japanese paper weaving characterized in that a flat yarn obtained by cutting Japanese paper into a narrow shape is twisted to form a weaving yarn. Yarn. "
[0004]
The fabric woven using this Japanese paper thread is extremely strong and can be applied in a wide range. However, since Japanese paper yarn is made by twisting flat yarn obtained by cutting Japanese paper into thin pieces as described above, there is almost no elongation in nature. In the case of a woven fabric in which warp yarns and weft yarns are alternately entangled, the yarn does not need to be stretchable, but the yarn stretchability is important for the knitted fabric.
[0005]
If the yarn does not expand or contract, a uniform loop cannot be formed, and the fabric surface will be rough and scratches will not be produced. In addition, the above-mentioned Japanese paper weaving yarn is only twisted flat yarn obtained by cutting Japanese paper into thin pieces, so there is no surface smoothness, which causes problems with sliding with the needle and sliding between the yarns. The surface of the fabric becomes rough.
[0006]
Further, it is not suitable for warp knitting that requires a warping process in which a plurality of cheeses and cones are wound around a large beam. When warping, if there is no expansion and contraction of the yarn, it is not possible to wind partly with a partial dove, and it is not possible to rewind and knit. Japanese paper yarn is not only smooth but also hard and has high frictional resistance, so there are many problems in the knitting process. It cannot be handled in the same way as a soft and smooth yarn such as cotton yarn or synthetic yarn, resulting in a drop in quality due to yarn breakage or splashing.
[0007]
“Manufacturing method of knitted fabric paper yarn” according to Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 11-172541 is another one of the prior arts, “twisting a filament made by cutting thin Japanese paper made from Manila hemp and then melting It is a manufacturing method characterized by attaching a wax. "
The paper yarn produced by this method has a reduced friction but does not have stretchability due to adhesion of the molten wax to the surface, and the knitted fabric cannot be knitted using the yarn.
[0008]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The circular knitted fabric has different properties depending on the yarn material used, but there is no particular problem with the properties. However, there is a problem in knitting the Japanese paper yarn as it is. In the “Japanese paper knitting yarn” according to the above-mentioned Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 7-118975 and the “Method for producing knitted paper yarn” according to the Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 11-172541. The manufactured yarn has a content that it can be applied for knitting, but it is practically used only as a yarn for fabrics. The problem to be solved by the present invention is this problem, and provides a Japanese paper yarn that can be knitted and a circular knitted fabric knitted using this yarn.
[0009]
[Means for solving the problems]
The circular knitted fabric of the present invention uses Japanese paper as the material for the yarn. Japanese paper is cut into long strips and twisted to produce a Japanese paper yarn of a predetermined thickness. This yarn is not stretchable as in the prior art, and therefore the present invention is configured as a covered yarn in which the Japanese paper yarn is wound with an elastic fiber (elastic yarn) as a core yarn. Since the core yarn is made of an elastic fiber, the covered yarn can have elasticity.
[0010]
Further, a water-soluble fiber is wound around the outer periphery of a covered yarn in which a Japanese paper thread is wound around an elastic fiber to constitute a double covered yarn. Covered yarn wrapped with Japanese paper thread has elasticity, but water-soluble fiber is used because it lacks smoothness. If a double-covered yarn is formed by winding ordinary fibers, water-soluble fibers are used so that they do not dissolve in water in the post-knitting process because the effect of Japanese paper yarn is lost. Hereinafter, embodiments according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
[0011]
【Example】
FIG. 1 shows a case in which the edge of a Japanese paper is cut to make a flat yarn 1. The Japanese paper is a roll having a constant width and very long, and is cut into a thin width A while being rewound. Then, as shown in FIG. 2, the yarn 2 is twisted to increase its tensile strength. The Japanese paper yarn of the present invention is formed by winding the yarn 2 around an elastic fiber as a core yarn.
[0012]
FIG. 3 shows an embodiment of the Japanese paper yarn production according to the present invention. Reference numeral 2 in FIG. 2 denotes a thread 2 made by twisting the Japanese paper shown in FIG. 2, and the thread 2 is wound around the elastic fiber 3 as a core thread. That is, in terms of its form, it becomes a Japanese paper yarn called a covered yarn. Here, the yarn 2 is not stretchable, but since the elastic fiber 3 is stretched, the entire Japanese paper yarn is provided with a stretch function. Here, although the material and kind of the elastic fiber 3 are not limited, in general, polypropylene that is frequently used as a stocking material is suitable.
[0013]
FIG. 4 shows another embodiment of the Japanese paper yarn production according to the present invention. A yarn 2 made by twisting a flat yarn 1 obtained by cutting a Japanese paper into an elongated shape is wound around an elastic fiber 3, and a water-soluble fiber 4 is wound around the yarn 2. That is, a double covered yarn is configured. Also in the case of this Japanese paper yarn, the elastic fiber 3 serving as the core yarn expands and contracts, so that the Japanese paper yarn has an expansion / contraction function.
[0014]
And the water-soluble fibers 4 on the outer periphery are not dissolved in water when the knitted round net cloth is dyed as a secondary process. In the case of the Japanese paper yarn shown in FIG. 3, it can be circularly knitted because of its elasticity, but the yarn 2 made of Japanese paper is not only smooth but also hard and has high frictional resistance. Therefore, winding the water-soluble fiber 4 shown in FIG. 4 improves the smoothness and makes it easier to knit.
[0015]
In the case of the Japanese paper yarn shown in FIG. 3, since the yarn 2 is hard, it can be wound around the elastic fiber 3 when it is softened by passing through a hot water and passing through a gear-shaped roll. This improves the knitting property and makes it easier to knit, and reduces friction between Japanese paper yarns. Furthermore, in order to reduce the frictional resistance generated between the Japanese paper thread and the guide or needle, the thread 2 can be waxed to prevent thread breakage and eliminate creases.
[0016]
FIG. 5 shows a specific example of a circular knitting machine. A plurality of cheeses 6, 6... Are attached to creels 5, 5... Japanese paper yarns 7, 7. It passes through the devices 8, 8 ... and is guided to the needles of the circular knitting machine. Here, although explanation of the circular knitting machine and the circular knitting process is omitted, the needles are respectively arranged at a constant pitch in the cylinder part and the dial part, and the Japanese paper yarns 7, 7... Guided from the cheeses 6, 6. Are organized sequentially.
[0017]
The Japanese paper yarn 7 that is the circular knitted fabric of the present invention is relatively thick, and the number of yarn supply ports arranged in the cylinder part and the dial part is generally 48, 60, or 72. The circular knitted fabric is knitted sequentially with the adjacent loops, and the tension adjusting device 8 prevents the yarn from being forced. The IRO tape method is suitable for the tension adjusting device when circularly knitting the Japanese paper yarn of the present invention. Therefore, the Japanese paper yarns 7, 7,... Having elasticity are not cut in the circular knitting process, and a predetermined circular knitted fabric is completed. By the way, the use of the circular knitted fabric is not limited by the present invention, and it can be used not only for clothing but also for curtains, tablecloths, handbags, hats and the like.
[0018]
As described above, the circular knitted fabric of the present invention is formed by circular knitting using a Japanese paper yarn whose form is covered yarn, and the following effects can be obtained.
[0019]
【The invention's effect】
The circular knitted fabric of the present invention is made by twisting a yarn using Japanese paper as a material, and this yarn is wound around an elastic fiber. Therefore, it can be knitted by providing elasticity. In the knitting process, a regular and uniform loop is formed, and the surface of the knitted fabric is not roughened or scratched. That is, a knitted fabric having no problem in quality can be obtained even if Japanese paper yarn is used. In particular, if the yarn is wound around an elastic fiber, it can be softened by passing the yarn through a blanching process or a gear-like roll, and can be waxed to reduce the coefficient of friction. It becomes.
[0020]
Therefore, the circular knitting can be performed without causing yarn breakage or sag. On the other hand, if it is configured as a double-covered yarn in which water-soluble fibers are wound around the yarn, the smoothness of the yarn is further improved. And this circular knitted fabric basically retains the properties of Japanese paper, and has a different skin feel and a different surface appearance compared to a circular knitted fabric made of conventional materials. Specifically, there are the following effects.
[0021]
(1) A circular knitting using an insulating Japanese paper yarn is insulative, and safety can be improved if a fabric made from the circular knitting of the present invention is used for those who handle electricity.
(2) Water retentive Japanese paper originally has the ability to absorb and retain moisture, and when the skin dries, it gives moderate moisture to the skin so that the skin does not become dull. In addition to underwear, circular knitted fabrics with water retention can be used as nursery beds. That is, when seeds are seeded on the nursery bed of the circular knitted fabric to give water, the nursery bed can be kept moist without being dried, and the seeds can be germinated with this moist air.
[0022]
(3) Breathable Japanese paper is breathable and therefore feels cool when worn with clothing made from the circular knit of the present invention. Further, it can be used as an air filter or a water purification filter by utilizing the air permeability.
(4) Water-absorbing Japanese paper originally has the ability to absorb moisture, and even when sweated when worn as an underwear, this sweat is absorbed immediately and the body is not sticky. It can also be used as a marine pollution prevention material when oil spills due to a ship's distress.
[0023]
(5) Light weight Since the original material is Japanese paper, its weight is reduced. Although the use of the fabric is light, its application will be greatly expanded, but it can be used especially as equipment for aircraft equipment and space satellites.
(6) Because it is Japanese paper in harmony with the natural environment, no harmful substances are generated even if incinerated, and if buried in the ground, it becomes soil and does not destroy the natural environment.
