<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Internet video service for enabling video recording reservation/image reproduction/confirmation of the reserved situation/change of a television program anytime and anywhere at user's desired place and at user's desired time, for viewing a program desired to video-record even in any area other than the area where the user lives, for eliminating a requirement of a recording medium such as a video tape, and for automatically changing a time when a broadcasting time is changed. <P>SOLUTION: The service such as video recording reservation, cancellation of the reservation and deletion of an image equal to the home video is provided by a server installed on the Internet. 【課題を解決する手段】
インターネットビデオサービスは、インターネット上に設置したサーバに対し、インターネットに接続される端末より、受付を可能とする事により、いつでも、どこでも録画予約が可能となる。このインターネットに接続できる端末は、携帯電話や、パソコン、ビデオアダプタを接続したテレビ、ＰＤＡなども対象とする。録画した情報は、インターネットに接続されるストリーミング再生可能な端末を対象とし、どこでも再生を可能とする。従来型のテレビを使用して、家庭内で録画予約又映像の再生を行う場合、インターネットとテレビを接続するためのアダプタを使用する事により、インターネットビデオサーバのサービスを実現する。配信については、暗号化やトネリングの機能により、配信者の認証及び認証後の暗号化を行う。すべての画像情報は、インターネットサーバに録画される為、録画媒体であるビデオテープ類は不要となる。インターネットビデオサーバへの録画は、画像収集サーバにて映像を受信し、画像録画サーバに画像情報を保管する。この画像収集サーバは、必要箇所に配置され、各地域の映像を画像録画サーバへ転送する。放送時間の変更については、画像収集サーバにて、番組チェックを行い時間変更された番組を自動認識することで、録画時間を変更する。

【発明の実施形態】
画像収集サーバ／画像録画サーバ／画像予約Ｗｅｂサーバの構成とする画像予約Ｗｅｂサーバは、加入者からの画像予約受付を行うインターフェースを持ち、ホームページより録画予約を行う。画面メニューはメインホームページ→ビデオサービスよりログインし、詳細メニューを表示する。メニューには、録画予約／予約確認／テレビ番組表／録画領域使用確認／番組再生／録画情報削除／保守サービスにより各機能を提供するが、これらの機能により現状の家庭内ビデオで行う予約／予約確認／番組再生などと、同等なサービスを提供でき、録画の再生は、画像予約Ｗｅｂサーバの番組再生メニューより開始、画像予約Ｗｅｂサーバより、画像録画サーバに再生の指示を行い、加入者への映像配信を開始する。録画については、画像予約Ｗｅｂサーバより録画開始を画像収集サーバに指示し、画像録画サーバと連携し、映像を録画する。画像収集サーバと画像録画サーバは、録画した画像情報を高速で転送する為、独自の高速回線にて接続する。画像収集サーバは、各地域に設置され、地域テレビ局の映像を収集する。収集した情報は、予約した加入者の画像録画サーバに転送されるが、放送時間変更の場合、画像予約Ｗｅｂサーバにて、番組のチェックを行い、時間帯変更に合わせて録画開始の指示を行う。画像の録画予約は、画像予約Ｗｅｂサーバにて、ログイン後に行い、録画情報の配信時についても、Ｗｅｂサーバにてログインが出来た者に対し、配信を許可する。現状の、家庭内でのビデオと同等なセキュリティレベルとする。また、ビデオレンタルサーバとも連携し、レンタル期間中の再生およびレンタル切れでの再生の停止を行う。画像録画サーバについては、画像収集サーバ以外のインターネットに接続されるカメラからの画像情報も録画を可能とする。

現状での家庭内ビデオに対し、インターネット上にて、ビデオサーバを設置する事により、予約や、再生がどこでも可能となる。また、ビデオカメラと連動させる事により、カメラ自体に、テープや、録画媒体が不要となる。配信に関しては、ストリーミング再生可能な、メディアであれば、すべてに可能とし、３Ｇ携帯・Ｇｂｏｏｋ・無線ＬＡＮやブロードバンド配下のＰＣまたはＰＤＡ、家庭内に設置するストリーミング再生可能なアダプタ（テレビとの接続用）が対象となる。テレビ局より放映される映像については、全国のどこのチャネルでも可能とし、住居地域以外の映像の予約をも可能とする。
