Abstract
Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an improvement in heating efficiency of a high-frequency heating apparatus that heats an object to be heated by microwaves.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A general configuration of a microwave oven, which is a typical high-frequency heating device, is to guide microwaves emitted from a magnetron to a heating chamber by a waveguide and heat food in the heating chamber. Since the microwave at this time has a very high frequency of, for example, 2450 MHz, a unique theoretical study has been made on transmission lines such as waveguides. Here, a basic transmission mode called a TE10 mode used in a waveguide for a microwave oven will be described with reference to FIG. The
[0003]
[Expression 1]
[0004]
For example, in general, in the case of a microwave of 2450 MHz, λg = 189 mm, where λ = 122 mm, a = 80 mm, b = 40 mm, and the like. The TE10 mode is easy to understand when the cross section of the waveguide is considered to indicate that the change in the strength of the electric field is 1 in the width direction and 0 (that is, constant) in the height direction. This is illustrated in two ways in FIG. The first expression is the expression of the arrow 6, where the arrow indicates the direction of the electric field, and the thickness indicates the strength of the electric field. The electric field is an upward electric field from the lower H plane to the upper H plane. In the width direction, the electric field is maximum at the center and approaches 0 at both ends, but is constant in the height direction. This shows a certain moment, and since the microwave moves to the left in the waveguide with the wavelength λg in the tube with time, the direction of the electric field alternately repeats upward and downward. The second expression is expressed by a
[0005]
Further, it is generally known that when the width a of the waveguide is narrow, if a <λ / 2, microwaves cannot be transmitted through the waveguide.
[0006]
Next, a case where the waveguide is bent will be described. In a microwave oven, the magnetron size is large relative to the height of the waveguide, so the H surface of the waveguide is bent (for example, bent in an L shape from the ceiling wall or bottom wall of the heating chamber toward the right wall). Therefore, there are some things that guide the position of the magnetron to the right wall surface side, but there are not many things that bend the E plane. Therefore, a common E-plane Y-branch waveguide shown in the plasma processing apparatus will be described with reference to FIG. 9 in that microwaves different from those in a microwave oven are transmitted using a waveguide (for example, a patent) Reference 1).

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The high-frequency heating apparatus according to
[0014]
Thereby, since the width of the waveguide does not fall below λ / 2 even at the bent portion, loss due to the bent portion of the E surface of the waveguide can be reduced, and a high-frequency heating device with high heating efficiency is provided. Can do.
[0015]
The high-frequency heating device according to
[0016]
Accordingly, the distance between the inner bent portion and the outer bent portion is widened, and the width of the waveguide can be prevented from being narrowed at the bent portion. Therefore, the loss due to the bent portion of the E surface of the waveguide can be reduced, and a high-frequency heating device with high heating efficiency can be provided.
[0017]
The high-frequency heating apparatus according to
[0018]
Thereby, the distance after the inner bent portion and the outer bent portion gradually increases, and the width of the waveguide after the bent portion can be prevented from narrowing. Therefore, the loss after the bent part of the E surface of the waveguide can be reduced, and a high-frequency heating device with high heating efficiency can be provided.
[0019]
The high-frequency heating device according to
[0020]
As a result, the disturbance of the electromagnetic field to be generated in the first bending portion and the disturbance of the electromagnetic field to be generated in the second bending portion can be canceled out. Loss in the tube can be reduced, and a high-frequency heating device with high heating efficiency can be provided.
[0021]
The high-frequency heating apparatus according to
[0022]
As a result, even if the electromagnetic field is disturbed in the first bending portion, the electromagnetic field is returned in the second bending portion that is not separated from the half wave, so that the region where the electromagnetic field is disturbed can be narrowed. Therefore, the loss of the waveguide can be reduced, and a high-frequency heating device with high heating efficiency can be provided.
[0023]
The high-frequency heating device according to claim 6 is configured such that, in the first bending portion disposed closer to the magnetron, the inner bending portion is configured to be closer to the magnetron than the outer bending portion, and is disposed closer to the heating chamber. In the second bent portion, the inner bent portion is configured closer to the heating chamber than the outer bent portion.
[0024]
As a result, both the first bent portion and the second bent portion can increase the distance between the inner bent portion and the outer bent portion, thereby preventing the waveguide from being narrowed at the bent portion. Therefore, the loss due to the bent portion of the E surface of the waveguide can be reduced, and a high-frequency heating device with high heating efficiency can be provided.
[0025]
In the high-frequency heating device according to
[0026]
Thereby, in the first bent portion, the distance after the inner bent portion and after the outer bent portion gradually increases, and the width of the waveguide after the bent portion can be prevented from being narrowed. In the second bent portion, when the width of the waveguide is gradually increased in the first bent portion, there is an action of gradually narrowing and returning to the original, and the width of the waveguide is increased. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the electromagnetic field from being disturbed. Therefore, the loss due to the bent portion of the E surface of the waveguide and the loss due to the change in the width of the waveguide can be reduced, and a high-frequency heating device with high heating efficiency can be provided.
[0027]
In the high-frequency heating device according to
[0028]
Thereby, the disturbance of the electromagnetic field due to the bent portion of the E surface and the disturbance of the electromagnetic field due to the bent portion of the H surface can be canceled by being adjacent to each other. Therefore, the loss of the waveguide can be reduced, and a high-frequency heating device with high heating efficiency can be provided.
[0029]
The high-frequency heating device according to claim 9 forms a matching portion in which the H surface of the waveguide is recessed in the vicinity of the bent portion.
[0030]
Thereby, the disturbance of the electromagnetic field due to the bent portion of the E surface and the disturbance of the electromagnetic field due to the depression of the H surface for the matching portion can be canceled in the vicinity. Therefore, the loss of the waveguide can be reduced, and a high-frequency heating device with high heating efficiency can be provided.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.

[0042]
The angle of the first bending portion is different from θi1 = 40 degrees and θo1 = 25 degrees, but the bending angle of the entire waveguide is 32.5 degrees, taking the average of both. To do. Also, since it is too complicated in FIG. 4, reference is first made to FIG. 5 for simplicity. FIG. 5 shows an inner
[0043]
At this time, if the width a5 of the waveguide near the magnetron and the width a6 of the waveguide near the heating chamber are set, a6 = a5 cos θ using the bending angle θ. Therefore, a6 is always smaller than a5. In this case, a6 is constant as long as there is no other bent portion near the heating chamber. When a6 is constant, microwaves are not transmitted when a6 is smaller than λ / 2. Therefore, since a6> λ / 2 must be satisfied, a6 = a5 cos θ> λ / 2, and as a result, θ <cos − 1 {λ / 2 (a5)}. As an example, if λ = 122 and a5 = 80 are substituted, θ <40.2 degrees must be satisfied.
[0044]
The point of the present invention is that this idea is applied to the vicinity of the bent portion of the waveguide by expanding even when the width is not constant or when the inner angle and the outer angle are different. Returning to FIG. 4 again, when applied to the bending angle of the entire waveguide, 32.5 degrees <40.2 degrees is satisfied, and as a result of actual measurement using the shape of this example, the heating efficiency is good. It was confirmed that it was at a level that could withstand practical use.
[0045]
In summary, in this embodiment, the microwave wavelength λ and the waveguide width a are set such that the angle θ of the bent portion satisfies θ <cos −1 (λ / 2a).
[0046]
Therefore, since the width of the waveguide does not fall below λ / 2 even at the bent portion, loss due to the bent portion of the E surface of the waveguide can be reduced, and a high-frequency heating device with high heating efficiency can be provided. it can.
[0047]
Further, the configuration satisfies θi1 ≧ θo1.
[0048]
This gradually increases the width of the waveguide after the first bent portion, and prevents the width of the waveguide from becoming narrow after the bent portion. Therefore, the loss after the first bent portion can be reduced.
[0049]
Moreover, the direction of the 1st bending part and the 2nd bending part is comprised in the reverse direction.
[0050]
As a result, the disturbance of the electromagnetic field to be generated in the first bending portion and the disturbance of the electromagnetic field to be generated in the second bending portion can be canceled out. Loss in the pipe can be reduced. In particular, in the waveguide of this example, the portion closer to the magnetron than the first bent portion is parallel to the portion closer to the heating chamber than the second bent portion, and the width of the waveguide is the same ( It is possible to return to a3 = a4), and it is thought that there is little disturbance of the electromagnetic field.
[0051]
Further, the distance between the center of the first bent portion (inner side) 58 and the first bent portion (outer side) 59 and the center of the second bent portion (inner side) 60 and the second bent portion (outer side) 61. x = 60 mm. The distance between the first bent part (inner side) 58 and the first bent part (outer side) 59 is 80 mm, and the distance between the second bent part (inner side) 60 and the second bent part (outer side) 61 is 85 mm. Substituting into (Equation 1) and obtaining the average value λ ′ of the in-tube wavelengths, it is 182 mm. This is a configuration satisfying x <λ ′ / 2.
[0052]
As a result, even if the electromagnetic field is disturbed in the first bending portion, the electromagnetic field is returned in the second bending portion that is not separated from the half wave, so that the region where the electromagnetic field is disturbed can be narrowed. Therefore, the loss of the waveguide can be reduced.
[0053]
Moreover, in the 1st bending part arrange | positioned near a magnetron, the 1st bending part (inner side) 58 is comprised near the magnetron equivalent to the 1st bending part (outside) 59, and it arrange | positions near a heating chamber. In the second bent portion, the second bent portion (inner side) 60 is configured closer to the heating chamber than the second bent portion (outer side) 61.
[0054]
Accordingly, the distance between the inner bent portion and the outer bent portion is widened, and the width of the waveguide can be prevented from being narrowed at the bent portion. Therefore, the loss due to the bent portion of the E surface of the waveguide can be reduced.
[0055]
Further, the angle θi1 of the inner bending portion and the angle θo1 of the outer bending portion in the first bending portion arranged near the magnetron are θi1 = 40 ≧ θo1 = 25, and the second bending portion arranged near the heating chamber. The angle θi2 of the inner bent portion and the angle θo2 of the outer bent portion are set to θi2 = 25 ≦ θo2 = 40.
[0056]
As a result, in the first bent portion, the distance after the first bent portion (inner side) 58 and the first bent portion (outer side) 59 gradually increases, and the width of the waveguide becomes narrower after the bent portion. Can be prevented. In the second bent portion, the distance between the second bent portion (inner side) 60 and the second bent portion (outer side) 61 is narrowed, and the width of the waveguide is increased in the first bent portion. It is possible to prevent the electromagnetic field from being disturbed because the width of the waveguide is excessively widened. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the loss due to the bending portion of the E surface of the waveguide and the loss due to the change in the width of the waveguide.
[0057]
The
[0058]
Thereby, the disturbance of the electromagnetic field due to the bent portion of the E surface and the disturbance of the electromagnetic field due to the bent portion of the H surface are adjacent to each other and can be canceled out. The loss of the waveguide can be reduced.

Further, a matching

[0061]
In this embodiment, each of the first bent portion and the second bent portion has one bent portion on the inner side and the outer side, and the number of bent portions is balanced. Therefore, the loss does not concentrate only on one side of the E plane.

In particular, in this embodiment, the inner bending angle θi is smaller than the outer bending angle θo, and the waveguide width tends to be narrow at the bent portion. The disadvantageous situation is covered by the position of the bent portion. However, if the distance after the bent portion is increased, the width of the waveguide is reduced, so that the distance closer to the heating chamber cannot be increased.
[0070]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, the high-frequency heating device of the present invention heats the object to be heated by guiding the microwave radiated from the magnetron into the heating chamber through the waveguide, and the microwave is provided on the E surface of the waveguide. The angle θ of the bent portion is set to satisfy θ <cos −1 (λ / 2a).
[0071]
Thereby, since the width of the waveguide does not fall below λ / 2 even at the bent portion, loss due to the bent portion of the E surface of the waveguide can be reduced, and a high-frequency heating device with high heating efficiency is provided. Can do.
