この発明は、車両の窓部に昇降可能に設けられるガラス(本明細書において「昇降ガラス」とも言う。)を昇降装置等に連結するための連結部材及び連結体、および係る連結構成を備える車両用の昇降ガラスに関する。

【従来の技術】
車両のドアの上部の窓部には、ドアガラスが設けられており、このドアガラスは、下端で昇降装置に固定されて、窓部を開閉するように昇降可能となっている。ここで、ドアガラスの昇降装置には、主として2つのタイプがある。1つは、図7に示すようにX字状に延びるアーム部61と、アーム部61の下側の一端部に設けられてアーム部61の傾きを制御する駆動部63と、駆動部63に連結されない下側の端部を水平方向にガイドする固定レール65と、アーム部61の上側の2つの端部を水平方向にガイドする上下動可能な可動レール67とを備える。この昇降装置ではドアガラス62は、可動レール67の両端に連結部材を介して取り付けられる。もう1つのタイプの昇降装置は、図9に示すように上下に延びる1つのガイドレール77とガイドレール77に通されるワイヤ79と、このワイヤ79をガイドレール77に沿って上下に移動させる駆動部73とを備える。この昇降装置は、ガイドレール77に沿ってスライドするようにワイヤ79に固定して設けられるレギュレータ71を備えており、このレギュレータ71に、適宜連結部材を介してドアガラス72が取り付けられる。

ドアガラスと昇降装置との連結部分の構成には、種々のものがあるが、主に2種類の形態が採用されている(例えば、特許文献1,2参照。)。1つは、図10に示すように、ドアガラス72に貫通孔72aを形成し、これに突起81などを有するボルト,クリップを通して固定するタイプである。もう1つは、図8に示すように、ドアガラス72を挟持できる溝状のホルダ部83を備えており、ドアガラス72とホルダ部83との間を接着剤84で固定するタイプである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、図10に示す形態では、ドアガラスに穿孔する工程が必要となる。また、ビスなどを用いる場合、部品点数や作業数が多くなる。また、連結部材は、昇降装置のレギュレータ71と一体に形成されており部品点数が低減されているが、昇降装置にドアガラスを直接取り付けるため、作業手順や位置決めなどの作業が複雑となる場合がある。また、図8に示す形態では、接着剤を用いるため、廃棄時の材料ごとの分別回収が困難であり、また位置決めが煩雑な場合がある。さらに、連結部材20は、孔部27でボルト・ナット構造によって昇降装置と連結されるため、作業数が多くなっている。

そこで、本発明では、より簡単な構成で、取り付け及び取り外しが簡単である昇降ガラスを他部材へ連結する車両用昇降ガラスの連結部材を提供することを課題とする。
また、併せて、本発明では、より簡単な構成で、より簡単な作業によって昇降ガラスを連結及び連結解除できる車両用昇降ガラスの連結体を提供することを課題とする。
さらに、本発明では、より簡単な構成で、昇降装置等への取り付け及び取り外しがより簡単と成っている連結部材付き車両用昇降ガラスを提供することを課題とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するため、本発明では、車両に昇降可能に設けられる板状の昇降ガラスを他部材に連結するための連結部材であって、昇降ガラスの端部に設けられる嵌合部と、昇降ガラスの端部に沿う方向のスライドによって前記嵌合部と嵌合可能なガラス固定部と、他部材に固定される被固定部とを備える本体とを備える、車両用昇降ガラスの連結部材を提供する。この連結部材は、昇降ガラスの端部に設けられる嵌合部に、昇降ガラスの端部に沿う方向のスライドによって本体を取り付けることができる。したがって、この連結部材は、接着剤やねじなどの固定部材などを必要としない簡単な構成で、且つ簡単な取り付け作業で板状部材に取り付けることができる。また、本体は、昇降ガラスの端部に嵌合によって取り付けられるため、スライド方向に対して垂直な方向でのがたつきが抑制されており、昇降ガラスを安定に保持できる。

この連結部材では、前記嵌合部は、昇降ガラスの端部に挟持によって固定される固定部材である構成とすることができる。固定部材は、昇降ガラスの端部を挟持することによって固定されるため、昇降ガラスの端部は平滑で良く、また、昇降ガラスへの圧入など単純な作業で取り付けることができる。

この連結体は、連結部材の被固定部が、取り付け部に係合によって取り付けられるため、ねじなどの他部材を必要としない簡単な構成であり、簡単な作業で固定することができる。また、係合状態では、付勢部材が連結部材の被固定部と取り付け部の係合部分を接触状態に保つため、がたつきが抑制されており、昇降ガラスを昇降装置に安定して固定することができる。したがって、上記構成の連結部材と取り付け部とを備える本連結体は、簡単な構成及び簡単な作業で安定した状態で昇降ガラスと昇降装置とを連結することができる。
さらに、本発明では、上記いずれかの連結部材を有する連結部材付き車両用昇降ガラスを提供する。また、この昇降ガラスであって、連結部材は、昇降ガラスの昇降装置に一体化されて設けられた取り付け部に前記被固定部が係合されたときに、前記連結部材と前記取り付け部との係合部分が接触状態を保つように前記連結部材を付勢する付勢部材を備えたことを特徴とする構成をも提供する。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明のより良い実施形態の1つである車両用昇降ガラスの連結部材及び連結体について、図面を参照して説明する。
図1に、車両のドアに、本発明の連結体1によって連結されたドアガラス3と昇降装置5とが設けられたようすを示す。ドアガラス3は、昇降可能に設けられており、本発明の車両用昇降ガラスに対応する。ドアガラス3は、ガラス又は樹脂で形成されており、ドアに形成された窓部に略沿う形状を備えるとともに、下部の中央全体が下方に大きく形成されて、連結部材20が固定できるようになっている。昇降装置5は、ワイヤ9とガイドレール7とレギュレータ11とを備える公知の構成であり、レギュレータ11は連結部材20を固定可能に形成されている。すなわち、レギュレータ11には、本実施形態の連結体1に係る取り付け部14が一体に形成されている。

まず、図2,5を参照しながら、連結部材20について説明する。本実施形態の連結部材20は、本体部材21と、固定部材31とを備える。ドアガラス3に、固定部材31が取り付けられて、固定部材31に本体部材21が固定される構成である。

固定部材31は、ドアガラス3の端部に凹凸を付与するための部材で、ドアガラス3の端部に所定の強度で固定される。好ましくは、ドアガラス3に孔や溝を設けることなく、また接着剤、粘着剤など不定形の材料を用いることなく取り付けられる構成を備える部材である。本実施形態では、固定部材31は、ドアガラス3の端部に圧入によって取り付けられてドアガラス3を両側面から挟持する構成を備えている。具体的には、固定部材31は、弾性部材33と、チャンネル部材35とを備えている。

弾性部材33は、がたつきを抑制して固定するための緩衝材であり、ドアガラス3の端部の保護にもなる。例えば、EPDM(エチレンプロピレンジエン共重合体)など公知のゴムやエラストマー、あるいは所望の弾性を有する発泡ゴム、発泡エラストマー、発泡プラスチックなどで形成することができる。
弾性部材33の形状は特に限定されない。本実施形態では、ドアガラス3の端面および両側面を被覆する平面部が所定の角度で屈曲した状態で一体化された長軸部材に形成されている。

チャンネル部材35は、ドアガラス3の端部を挟持することでドアガラス3に固定される部材である。チャンネル部材35は、ドアガラス3の端部を収容できる溝状の空間を形成する部分(チャンネル部)を備える。チャンネル部の空間の断面形状は、ドアガラス3の端部の断面形状に合わせて形成される。本実施形態では、図2に示すように、ドアガラス3は、両側面に対して直角な端面を備えており、チャンネル部材35は、ドアガラス3の端面と両側面に対向する壁部を備える断面コ字状の長軸部材である。チャンネル部材35は、剛体、例えばステンレスで形成されており、弾性部材33が介在されることで、ドアガラス3の端部を所定の圧力で挟持する構成となっている。

なお、本実施形態では、チャンネル部材35の上端、すなわち、ドアガラス3の両側面に対向する部分の長手方向に延びる端部は、互いに離れる方向に傾斜して形成されている。これにより、ドアガラス3の端部の圧入が容易になるとともに、後述する本体部材21のガラス固定部23との嵌合がより強固となる。

なお、固定部材31は、ドアガラス3のきしみ、すなわち湾曲を防ぐきしみ防止部材や、振動を吸収する振動吸収部材として利用しても良い。あるいは、公知のきしみ防止部材や振動吸収部材であって、ドアガラス3との固定強度が十分であるものを固定部材として利用しても良い。きしみ防止部材や振動吸収部材との兼用により、ドアガラス3に設けられる部品点数を低減することができ、作業数の低下や軽量化を達成することができ、好ましい。これらの部材として兼用する場合、固定部材31の軸方向の長さは、連結に必要な長さを超えて所望の長さに形成することができる。

本体部材21は、ドアガラス3に連結されるガラス固定部23と、後で詳述する取り付け部14に連結される被固定部25とを備える。図2に示す本体部材21では、ガラス固定部23は、溝24を備える筒状部分であり、被固定部25は、板状部分である。なお、図2において、本体部材21は、各部は所望の剛性を備える範囲で薄く形成されるとともに、外周端および全面に、略同一の高さで突出するリブが設けられている。この構造により、本体部材21は、所望の厚みを備えるとともに軽量化されている。

ガラス固定部23は、ドアガラス3の端部に設けられる固定部材31に、ドアガラス3の端部に沿う方向のスライドによって嵌合する形状を有する。本実施形態では、固定部材31全体に嵌合する形状に形成されている。具体的には、両端が開放しており、側面に軸線方向に延びる溝24を備える四角筒状部に形成されている。溝24は、ドアガラス3の厚みより大きく形成されており、ドアガラス3の端部に取り付けられた固定部材31が筒状部の内部に挿入されるようになっている。筒状部の内部は、固定部材31と嵌合する大きさ、形状に形成されている。溝24の両側の側壁部に、内部空間に向かって突出する掛け止め部23aが形成されている。掛け止め部23aは、ガラス固定部23が固定部材31と嵌合したとき、ドアガラス3とチャンネル部材35との間に位置してがたつきを低減する。

なお、ガラス固定部23は、固定部材31の長手方向へのスライドによって嵌合する種々の形態とすることができる。例えば、魚の骨のように等間隔で伸びる複数の開環リング部を備える形状に形成することができる。また、本実施形態では、ガラス固定部23を固定部材31全体を被覆して嵌合する形状としたが、固定部材31の一部を被覆して嵌合する形状であっても良い。すなわち、固定部材31とガラス固定部23の両方に嵌合可能な凹凸形状が付与されている種々の形態とすることができる。例えば、図6(a)に示すように、チャンネル部材52の両外表面に軸方向に平行な凸条52aが形成され、ガラス固定部51に凸条52aに嵌合する凹条51aが形成されていても良い。また、図6(b)に示すように、チャンネル部材56の下部に軸方向のスライドで嵌合できる凹凸形状を備える凸部56aが設けられており、ガラス固定部55はこの凸部56aにスライドによって嵌合される形状に形成されていても良い。

被固定部25は、後述する取り付け部14と互いに係合する種々の形状に形成される。好ましくは、ドアガラス3の面に垂直な方向のがたつきが発生しにくい形状とされる。具体的には、ドアガラス3に平行な移動によって係合する形状である。本実施形態では、ドアガラス3に平行な板状に形成されており、ドアガラス3端部に平行となるように形成された、2つの係合用の孔部27を備えている。被固定部25は、また、本実施形態では、ガラス固定部23の筒状部の中心より偏った位置、図2では、紙面奥側から下方に延びるように一体に形成されている。これにより、後述する取り付け部14に固定されたとき、レギュレータ11の基板部12(図5参照)にガラス固定部23が近接あるいは当接するようになり、がたつきが低減されている。

本体部材21は、ドアガラス3と昇降装置5との間でのがたつき、ひずみなどを低減するため、より硬質な材料で形成されていることが好ましい。例えば、ガラス繊維、カーボン、強化材として、ガラスを添加したポリアミドなどの熱硬化性樹脂を好適に使用することができる。例えば、ナイロン6(PA6)に対してガラスを所定量だけ添加した材料を好適に使用することができる。

次に、連結体1の取り付け部を構成するレギュレータ11について、図3〜5を参照して説明する。レギュレータ11は、平板状の基板部12を備えており、一面側が取り付け部14に、他面側が昇降装置5のガイドレール7にスライド可能に取り付けられる被案内部41に形成されている。

取り付け部14は、本体部材21の被固定部25の説明で述べたように、被固定部25と係合する種々の形状である。また、取り付け部14は、ドアガラス3の面に垂直な方向へのがたつきを低減できる形状が好ましい。本実施形態では、取り付け部14は、基板部12の中央に、基板部12を一面とし、基板部12に垂直な面(図3では上面)が開放されている箱状部16に形成されている。この取り付け部14では、基板部12及び基板部12に平行な平板部17は、連結部材20を固定したとき(図5)、ドアガラス3に対して垂直な方向で被固定部25を挟んでおり、被固定部25のがたつきを抑制する。

平板部17は、被固定部25が図3の上方から挿入されたときに、被固定部25の係合用の孔部27に対応する位置に係合片18を備えている。係合片18は、本実施形態では、平板部17に切り込みが付与されて撓みやすく形成された四角板状部分である。具体的には、図3に示すように、上辺および両側辺を形成するように切り込みが形成され、下辺部分で平板部17に一体になっている。
係合片18は、図5に示すように箱状部16の内側に突出する係止片19を備えている。係止片19は、図5に示すように、被固定部25の孔部27に入り込んで孔部27の下端面に面接触する下面を備えるとともに上部は平板部17側から下方に向かって箱状部16の内部に突出する傾斜面に形成されている。係合片18は、被固定部25上方内側から圧力を受けることで、外側(図3では紙面手前側)に撓む。

この連結体1を用いてドアガラス3を昇降装置5に取り付ける手順について説明する。まず、ドアガラス3の端部に、連結部材20の固定部材31を取り付ける。弾性部材33をチャンネル部材35の溝状内に挿入しておき、ドアガラス3をチャンネル部材35の開放部分(図2の上方から下方へ)から圧入する。あるいは、弾性部材33をドアガラス3の端部を被覆するように装着してから、チャンネル部材35の開放部分から溝状部分に圧入する。

次に、固定部材31すなわちチャンネル部材35の長手方向の端部を、本体部材21のガラス固定部23に挿入して嵌合させ、スライドによって所定の位置まで移動させる。図5に示すように、チャンネル部材35、弾性部材33、及びドアガラス3の端部をガラス固定部23の内部に入り込んだ状態で、チャンネル部材35とガラス固定部23とを嵌合させることにより、本体部材21をドアガラス3に固定する。これにより、ドアガラス3への連結部材20の固定が完了する。なお、適宜、連結部材20の本体部材21をチャンネル部材35の長手方向の所定の位置に固定するために、接着剤などでチャンネル部材35と本体部材21とを固着しても良い。

次に、レギュレータ11の取り付け部14に連結部材20を固定してドアガラス3を昇降装置5に固定する。連結部材20の被固定部25を取り付け部14の箱状部16に挿入する。具体的には、図3に示すレギュレータ11の箱状部16に、上方から、連結部材20の被固定部25の下部を先頭に挿入する。レギュレータ11の係合片18に形成されている係止片19が被固定部25の孔部27に入り込んだら、被固定部25と取り付け部14とが係合するため、取り付けが完了する。このとき、図5に示すように、連結部材20の被固定部25の下端に取り付けられた板ばね37は、取り付け部14の箱状部16の下面16aに圧接しており、連結部材20を取り付け部14の下面から離れる方向、すなわち上方に付勢している。これにより、取り付け部14の係止片19と被固定部25の孔部27とは、常に当接している。また、図5に示すように、連結部材20は、被固定部25が基板部12及び平板部17が隣接されるとともに、ガラス固定部23の外側面に基板部12が隣接している。

次に、連結体1で連結されているドアガラス3および昇降装置5の連結を解除する方法について説明する。まず、レギュレータ11の取り付け部14から連結部材20を取り外す。基板部12の開口12aからピンなどの先の細い部材を差し込んで、係止片19を平板部17の外側に向かって押し、係止片19を連結部材20の孔部27から押し出す。押し出し完了と同時に、連結部材20を取り付け部14の箱状部16から取り出す。このとき、係止片19と孔部27との係合が解除されると、板ばね37の不勢力により、連結部材20は自然に箱状部16から抜け出す方向へ移動するため、簡単に取り外すことができる。

次に、ドアガラス3から連結部材20を取り外す。まず、本体部材21をスライドによって固定部材31(チャンネル部材35)上を移動させて、固定部材31の端部から抜き取る。次に、ドアガラス3からチャンネル部材35を押し外す。その後、適宜、チャンネル部材35またはドアガラス3の端部から弾性部材33を取り外す。これにより、ドアガラス3と昇降装置5との連結を解除して、各部材を分離することができる。

この連結部材20では、固定部材31は、ドアガラス3の端部に圧入によって取り付けることができ、取り付け作業が簡単である。また、本体部材21は、この固定部材31にドアガラス3の端部に沿う方向のスライドによって固定できるため、取り付け作業が簡単である。これらは、いずれもねじ、クリップなど、固定用の別部材を必要としないため、取り付け作業が簡単である。また、接着剤、粘着剤など分離しにくい材料を必要としないため、取り外し作業も簡単である。また、本実施形態の固定部材31および本体部材21は、ドアガラス3の両側面側に嵌合部位を備えている。このため、特にドアガラス3に垂直な方向へのぐらつきが良好に抑制されて固定されている。図6(a)(b)の構成であっても、同様の効果が得られる。さらに、本実施形態では、本体部材21は、固定部材31の全体を被覆しており、ドアガラス3の両側面に平行な面での接触面積がより大きい。このため、ドアガラス3の両側面に垂直な方向のがたつきが良好に抑制されている。

また、この連結部材20と取り付け部14との固定は係合であり、付勢部材としての板ばね37は連結部材20に固定されているため、取り付け作業が簡単である。特に、本実施形態では、取り付け部14が箱状部16に形成されているため、連結部材20の被固定部25を箱状部16に挿入することで、簡単に係合位置を合わせることができる。また、取り付け部14が箱状部16に形成されていることにより、被固定部25の係合方向に垂直な方向へのがたつきについても規制することができる。例えば、基板部12及び平板部17によってドアガラス3の両側面に垂直な方向へ傾くことが良好に抑制されている。さらに、本実施形態では特に図示しないが、箱状部16に形成することにより、ドアガラス3の端部に沿う方向での位置を箱状部16で決定することができる。

また、付勢部材は、板ばね37に代えてコイルスプリングや、ゴムなど、ドアガラスと連結部材20とを支持できる強度を有する種々の弾性部材とすることができる。また、付勢部材は、取り付け部14と被固定部25との係合部分を当接状態に維持できれば良く、係合部分が当接される方向に向かって付勢できる任意の位置に設けることができる。したがって、連結部材20(被固定部25)の下部に限定されず、取り付け部14側、例えば、箱状部16の底部に設けても良い。また、付勢部材は、連結部材と取り付け部との間に設けられて、係合部分同士が当接する状態を安定化させる位置であれば良い。したがって、例えば、図2に示す連結部材20のガラス固定部23の下面と、取り付け部14の箱状部16上端とに当接するように弾性部材を設けても良い。
