インクを貯蔵するインクカートリッジと、前記インクカートリッジから前記記録ヘッドへインクを加圧供給する加圧ポンプを備える第1のインク経路と、
前記記録ヘッドから前記インクカートリッジ迄の弁を含む第2のインク経路とを備えるインク供給・回復機構において、
前記弁を閉じた後前記加圧ポンプを駆動し、所定時間後前記弁を開放する弁開放手段をもつことを特徴とする記録ヘッドのインク供給・回復機構。
