Abstract
Description
【0001】
【0007】
この発明は、上述の事柄に留意してなされたものであって、その目的は、サンプルガス中のSOX 及びH2 S(以下、サンプルガス中のSOX 及びサンプルガス中のH2 Sを合計したものを「硫黄化合物」という。)

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a chemiluminescent gas analyzer for measuring components of exhaust gas and other sample gases such as automobiles and flues.
[0002]
[Prior art]
[Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 9-21753
As a conventional chemiluminescence gas analyzer using a chemiluminescence method, as shown in the above-mentioned
[0003]
In the chemiluminescent gas analyzer, the sample gas is sent to the first sample gas supply channel, and the SO in the sample is reduced in the reducer. 2 Then, the sample gas is supplied into the reaction vessel, and SO in the sample gas and O from the ozone supply channel are reduced. 3 , And the chemiluminescence generated at this time is guided to the light receiving part. X Is measured quantitatively.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, in the conventional chemiluminescent gas analyzer having the above-mentioned configuration, SO X O 3 Since only SO emits chemiluminescence upon reaction with SO, the SO contained in the sample gas supplied into the reaction vessel X If the state is not maintained until it is completely converted to SO and led to the reaction vessel, the SO X It becomes difficult to measure.
[0005]
However, SO is unstable, and in the chemiluminescent gas analyzer, the sample gas is not contained in the sample gas until it reaches the reaction chamber after it leaves the first sample gas supply channel. Part of SO 2 To return to SO in the sample gas, X There was a problem that it was impossible to measure accurately.
[0006]
As a countermeasure to the above problem, it is conceivable to bring the reducer and the reaction vessel as close as possible, but even in such a configuration, the SO contained in the sample gas supplied into the reaction vessel can be reduced. Although the ratio can be increased to some extent, it is still highly accurate SO X It was difficult to realize the measurement.
[0007]
The present invention has been made in consideration of the above-described matters, and its purpose is to provide SO in the sample gas. X And H 2 S (hereinafter referred to as SO in sample gas) X And H in the sample gas 2 The total of S is called “sulfur compound”. Is provided with a chemiluminescent gas analyzing method and apparatus.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the chemiluminescent gas analysis method of the present invention mixes a sample gas and ozone to produce H in the sample gas. 2 A chemiluminescent gas analysis method for detecting chemiluminescence generated by reacting S with ozone, wherein the sample gas and ozone are mixed with H in the sample gas before mixing with the sample gas and ozone. 2 S sulfur compounds other than S 2 Convert to S (Claim 1).
[0009]
In the present invention having the above-described configuration, it is possible to provide a chemiluminescent gas analysis method capable of accurately measuring a sulfur compound in a sample gas.
[0010]
That is, in the chemiluminescent gas analysis method having the above configuration, the sulfur compound in the sample gas is H. 2 In the state converted to S, it is mixed with the ozone, and the H 2 S and ozone react to generate light of a predetermined wavelength. Then, the amount (concentration) of the sulfur compound contained in the sample gas can be derived by detecting this light and substituting the detected value into a predetermined arithmetic expression. Where H 2 Part of S is SO 2 H is formed by conversion from sulfur compounds in the sample gas. 2 Since S reacts with the ozone without changing to other substances, sulfur compounds can be measured with high accuracy.
[0011]
In addition, before mixing the sample gas and the ozone, H in the sample gas 2 S sulfur compounds other than S 2 Whether or not to convert to S may be selected (claim 2). In this case, not only the total sulfur compound concentration in the sample gas but also the H present in the sample gas. 2 It is also possible to measure the S concentration. Therefore, H present in the sample gas is calculated from the total sulfur compound concentration. 2 If the S concentration is reduced, H in the sample gas 2 Sulfur compounds other than S (SO X ) The concentration can be determined.
[0012]
Further, the sample gas may be mixed with nitrogen oxide having a substantially constant concentration together with the ozone.
[0013]
In this case, NO in the sample gas X Even if the quantity fluctuates rapidly, the fluctuation is H 2 The influence on the detection of S can be greatly reduced, and the sulfur compound concentration can be measured more accurately.
[0014]
Furthermore, the sample gas is mixed with the dilution gas together with the ozone, and the temperature and pressure in the space in which the mixing is performed are adjusted, whereby the ozone and the H in the sample gas are adjusted. 2 The influence of a component that interferes with detection of chemiluminescence generated by the reaction with S may be suppressed (claim 4).
[0015]
H in the sample gas 2 When S and ozone are mixed, CO 2 is mixed into the space where the mixing is performed. 2 , CO is present, 2 The indication value when the chemiluminescence generated by the reaction between S and ozone is detected is affected. Specifically, the CO 2 The effect of CO and CO is called the quenching effect. 2 The indicated value becomes smaller than the actual value only by the presence of CO and CO. By diluting the sample gas and adjusting the temperature and pressure, it is possible to suppress the above influence and obtain the sulfur compound concentration with high accuracy.
[0016]
Mixing sample gas with dilution gas, adjusting pressure and temperature, ozone and H 2 Components that affect the reaction with S (eg, CO 2 , CO, NO X Etc.) are contained in the sample gas even though these components are ozone and H 2 The effect on the reaction with S is reduced, and ozone and H 2 A component that emits light having the same wavelength as the wavelength of light emitted when S reacts (near 340 nm) (for example, CH 3 SH, (CH 3 ) 2 S or C 2 H 5 H such as SH 2 (Sulphides other than S) are contained in the sample gas, the amount of light emitted by these components is reduced, and in addition, the flow rate of the sample gas, ozone, and dilution gas can be adjusted more accurately. The sulfur compound concentration can be measured.
[0017]
In addition, before mixing the sample gas with the ozone, NH contained in the sample gas 3 And / or NO X May be removed (claim 5). That is, the sample gas is NH 3 Is contained in the order of several hundred ppm to 1,000 ppm, NH 3 (NH4) in pipes and reaction cells that make up the flow path for sample gas 2 S may be generated and cause a decrease in sensitivity. 3 By removing from the sample gas 3 Without the influence of H 2 Only S can be measured. Also, NO from the sample gas X If NO is removed, NO X The effect of accurately measuring the concentration of the sulfur compound can be obtained.
[0018]
On the other hand, the chemiluminescent gas analyzer of the present invention includes a sample gas supply path, a reaction gas supply path having an ozone generator, and a measurement unit having a reaction cell to which the sample gas supply path and the reaction gas supply path are connected. A chemiluminescent gas analyzer comprising: a sample gas supply path, wherein the sample gas supply channel includes H in the sample gas. 2 S sulfur compounds other than S 2 A conversion unit for converting to S is provided (claim 6).
[0019]
Specifically, the conversion unit includes a cylinder containing ceramic therein, heating means for heating the cylinder to a predetermined temperature (for example, 750 ° C. or higher), and H in the cylinder. 2 H to supply 2 And a supply path (Claim 7).
[0020]
According to the present invention having the above-described configuration, it is possible to provide a chemiluminescent gas analyzer that can accurately measure a sulfur compound in a sample gas.
[0021]
That is, in the chemiluminescent gas analyzer having the above-described configuration, the sulfur compound in the sample gas is converted into ceramic and H in the converter. 2 H 2 S is supplied into the reaction cell in a state of being converted to S, and H from the sample gas supply path in the reaction cell. 2 S and ozone from the reaction gas supply path react to generate light having a predetermined wavelength. Then, the amount (concentration) of the sulfur compound contained in the sample gas can be derived by detecting this light and substituting the detected value into a predetermined arithmetic expression. Where H 2 Part of S is SO 2 H which is formed by converting from a sulfur compound in the sample gas supply path because it is stable unlike unstable SO that returns to 2 S is supplied into the reaction cell without being changed to other substances, whereby the sulfur compound can be measured with high accuracy.
[0022]
In the measurement unit, H in the sample gas 2 S and NO and / or CO may be measured (claim 8). In this case, it is possible to simultaneously measure a plurality of components contained in the sample gas.
[0023]
Furthermore, as the sample gas supply path, a first flow path for directly supplying a sample gas to the reaction cell, and H containing 2 Sulfur compounds other than S are H 2 A second flow path for supplying the sample gas converted to S to the reaction cell may be provided.
[0024]
Further, the ozone generator has a predetermined concentration of O. 2 And N 2 And a heating means for heating the inside of the reaction cell to a predetermined temperature, and a pressure reducing means for reducing the pressure in the reaction cell.
[0025]
In this case, the ozone generator has a predetermined concentration of O. 2 And N 2 Is supplied from the ozone generator, and nitrogen oxide with a substantially constant concentration and N as a diluent gas are supplied. 2 Is fed to the reaction cell. Thereby, NO in the sample gas X Even if the quantity fluctuates rapidly, the fluctuation is H 2 The effect on the detection of S can be greatly reduced, and CO 2 The influence of quenching due to coexistence of CO and CO can be suppressed. Therefore, the sulfur compound concentration can be measured more accurately.
[0026]
An inner tube in which a light transmission window is provided in the reaction cell, and either the downstream end of the sample gas supply path or the downstream end of the reaction gas supply path is arranged vertically toward the light transmission window. And the other may be an outer tube disposed outside the inner tube (claim 11).
[0027]
In this case, H in the sample gas supplied into the reaction cell. 2 Since S and ozone in the reaction gas react efficiently, the above effect that the accurate sulfur compound concentration can be measured is further improved.
[0028]
Further, NH in the sample gas is connected to the sample gas supply path. 3 And / or NO X A removing means may be provided for removing (Claim 12). That is, the sample gas is NH 3 Is contained in the order of several hundred ppm to 1,000 ppm, NH 3 (NH4) in pipes and reaction cells that make up the sample gas supply path due to the influence of 2 S may be generated and cause a decrease in sensitivity. 3 By removing from the sample gas 3 Without the influence of H 2 Only S can be measured. Also, NO from the sample gas X If NO is removed, NO X The effect of accurately measuring the concentration of the sulfur compound can be obtained.
[0029]

[0059]
In the analysis method and apparatus D having the above-described configuration, the total sulfur compound concentration in the sample gas S can be accurately measured. That is, in the analysis method and apparatus D, the sulfur compound (SO X ) All H 2 In the state converted to S, it is supplied into the reaction cell 4, and in the reaction cell 4, H from the sample
[0060]
By the way, H in the sample gas S 2 When S and ozone are mixed, CO 2 enters the space (reaction cell 4) where the mixing is performed.
[0061]
Therefore, in the analysis method and analysis device D having the above-described configuration, the ozone generator 2 is supplied with a predetermined concentration of O. 2 And N 2 And a predetermined concentration of N as a diluent gas from the reaction gas supply path 3 having the ozone generator 2 to the reaction cell 4 2 The sample gas S from the sample
[0062]
And by the above dilution, decompression and temperature adjustment, ozone and H 2 Components that affect the reaction with S (eg, CO 2 , CO, etc.) are contained in the sample gas S, these components are ozone and H 2 The effect on the reaction with S is reduced, and ozone and H 2 A component that emits light having the same wavelength as the wavelength of light emitted when S reacts (near 340 nm) (for example, CH 3 SH, (CH 3 ) 2 S or C 2 H 5 H such as SH 2 Even if the sample gas S contains sulfides other than S, the amount of light emitted by these components decreases, and in addition, by adjusting the flow rate described above, more accurate H 2 S concentration can be measured.
[0063]
In other words, in the analysis method and the analysis apparatus D of the present embodiment, by performing the dilution, decompression, temperature adjustment, and flow rate adjustment as described above, the ozone and the H in the sample gas are adjusted. 2 The influence of the component which interferes with the detection of the chemiluminescence generated by the reaction with S can be suppressed, and a more accurate measurement of the sulfur compound concentration can be realized.
[0064]
In Table 1 below, in the case of using the conventional analyzer that does not perform the dilution and temperature adjustment, and in the case of using the analyzer D of this example, H 2 The sensitivity ratio (relative sensitivity) of the other components when the S detection sensitivity is 1.000 is shown. As apparent from Table 1, in the conventional analyzer, CH 3 SH and C 2 H 5 The sensitivity of components such as SH is H 2 Although it was larger than the sensitivity of S, in the analyzer D of this example, CH 3 SH and C 2 H 5 H including SH 2 The sensitivity of any component other than S is H 2 It can be reduced to about 1/10 or less of the sensitivity of S.
[0065]
[Table 1]
[0066]
Further, in the analyzer D having the above-described configuration, the sample gas S, the reaction gas, and the like supplied into the reaction cell 4 are led out coaxially from the gas lead-out
[0067]
Furthermore, in the analysis method and the analysis apparatus D having the above-described configuration, the ozone generator 2 is supplied with a predetermined concentration of O. 2 And N 2 And a small amount of nitrogen oxide (NO) from the reaction gas supply path 3 having the ozone generator 2 to the reaction cell 4. X ) In the sample gas S supplied into the reaction cell 4 X Even if the quantity fluctuates rapidly, the fluctuation is H 2 The influence on the detection of S can be greatly reduced.
[0068]
In order to clarify the above effect, a reaction gas supplied into the reaction cell 4 is used. Etc. NO in X A conventional analyzer that does not contain any NO, and a small amount of NO at a constant concentration in the reaction gas or the like. X Using the analyzer D of the present embodiment including the above, NO of a known concentration is introduced into the sample gas S supplied into the reaction cell 4, and the amount of NO input and H 2 An experiment was conducted to examine the relationship with the detected value of S. Specifically, the sample gas has a constant concentration (5.17 ppm) of H. 2 Using a gas containing S, NO is charged to the sample gas in the first stage at 502.9 ppm, and then the NO to be charged into the sample gas is 1005.8 ppm in the second stage, 1507.6 ppm in the third stage, It was increased stepwise to 2010, 7 ppm and in the fifth step to 2514.7 ppm. The results are shown in FIGS. 3 (A) and (B). 3A and 3B, the horizontal axis represents time (seconds), and the vertical axis represents H by the
[0069]
As apparent from FIG. 3A, NO is contained in the reaction gas supplied to the reaction cell 4. X In the conventional analyzer that does not contain any of the above, in the first stage, when 502.9 ppm of NO is initially introduced into the sample gas, the support value of the photodetector rapidly increases, and then the second stage, the third stage, The effect of NO input at each stage is reduced. This is totally NO X When NO is introduced into the sample gas that does not contain 2 The influence of NO on the detection of S is large, but a certain amount of NO X When NO is introduced into the sample gas containing H 2 This is probably because the influence of NO on the detection of S is reduced.
[0070]
On the other hand, as is clear from FIG. 3B, a constant concentration of NO in the reaction gas or the like supplied to the reaction cell 4. X In the analyzer D of this embodiment including NO, NO input to the sample gas is H 2 It has little influence on the detection of S. From this, in the analyzer D of the present embodiment, NO in the sample gas S supplied into the reaction cell 4 is obtained. X It can be seen that even if the concentration fluctuates rapidly, the concentration of the sulfur compound can be accurately measured without being affected by the variation.
[0071]
In the analyzer D, the sample gas S sent to the reaction cell 4 through the sample

In the analysis method and apparatus D, the H in the sample gas S is mixed before the sample gas S and the ozone are mixed. 2 S sulfur compounds other than S 2 Since it is configured to select whether or not to convert to S, not only the total sulfur compound concentration in the sample gas S but also the H present in the sample gas S 2 It is also possible to measure the S concentration. Therefore, H present in the sample gas S is calculated from the total sulfur compound concentration. 2 If the S concentration is reduced, H in the sample gas S 2 Sulfur compounds other than S (substantially SO X ) The concentration can be determined.
[0073]
That is, according to the analyzer D having the above configuration and the chemiluminescent gas analysis method using the analyzer D, for example, SO in exhaust gas from a vehicle engine is used. X Concentration and H 2 The S concentration and the total sulfur compound concentration are determined based on the H contained in the exhaust gas. 2 H such as O and NO 2 It is possible to selectively measure continuously without being affected by components other than S.

Furthermore, the analyzer D measures not only the sulfur compounds in the sample gas S but also components such as NO and CO that emit light having a predetermined wavelength by reacting with ozone, with only a slight configuration change. You can also. Specifically, in order to measure the NO that emits ultraviolet light having a wavelength of 600 nm or more by reacting with ozone by the analyzer D, for example, the

Moreover, in the analyzer D of the present embodiment, the sampling flow rate of the sample gas S can be reduced. For example, the upstream end of the sample
[0082]
Furthermore, in the analysis method and apparatus D of the present embodiment, the sampling flow rate of the sample gas S can be reduced, and it is not necessary to use gas chromatography for the analysis, and further, NDIR that requires complicated pretreatment is performed. H used 2 Compared to S meter, etc., such pre-processing is unnecessary, so SO X , H 2 Measurement of S, CO and NO can be performed at low cost and at high speed.

【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention having the above-described configuration, it is possible to provide a chemiluminescent gas analysis method and apparatus capable of accurately measuring a sulfur compound in a sample gas.
[0084]
That is, in the chemiluminescent gas analysis method and apparatus having the above-described configuration, the sulfur compound in the sample gas is H. 2 S is supplied into the reaction cell without being changed to other substances, whereby the sulfur compound can be measured with high accuracy.
