Abstract
Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a heat exchanger, and is suitable for application to a heat exchanger such as a condenser constituting a vehicular refrigeration cycle apparatus, for example.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The heat exchanger is applied to, for example, a heater core or a condenser of a refrigeration cycle device for a vehicle, and exchanges heat between refrigerant or cooling water and air. The heat exchanger is formed into a corrugated shape and a part of a flat portion. A corrugated fin having an armor window-like louver that is cut and raised is known (see Patent Document 1). In the technique disclosed in Patent Document 1, in order to improve the performance of heat exchange with air, the length of the louver cut outside the corrugated fin is increased. A plurality of tubes and a plurality of corrugated fins through which the refrigerant flows are alternately stacked, and the outermost fins are joined to the side plates.
[0003]
[Patent Document 1]
Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 5-8264 [0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the prior art, when the length of the louver is increased, the performance is improved. For example, in a case where a bracket is attached to a side plate and assembled to a vehicle or the like like a condenser for a cooling cycle, the fin and the side plate are not cut. May occur. When the fin breakage occurs, there is a problem that the strength for maintaining the configuration of the heat exchanger decreases. As a countermeasure against the fin breakage, a method of increasing the fin thickness to increase the fin strength can be considered, but there are problems that the heat exchanger is increased in weight, increased in cost, and increased in ventilation resistance. In addition, the increase in ventilation resistance becomes a factor which reduces the performance of a heat exchanger.
[0005]
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to prevent fin breakage while maintaining heat exchanger performance.
[0006]
Another object is to provide a heat exchanger capable of maintaining performance and preventing fin breakage and reducing weight and cost.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to the first aspect of the present invention, the core portion in which the tube through which the fluid flows and the fins joined to the tube are alternately laminated, and the side plate that reinforces the core portion from both ends of the core portion in the tube and fin lamination direction. The fin has a plurality of bent portions and a substantially flat portion connecting the bent portions, and is formed in a wave shape and cuts a part of the substantially flat portion. Of the fins that have the raised armor window-like louver and are laminated alternately with the tube, the outermost fin on the outermost side in the laminating direction is joined to the side plate and is bent among the plurality of louvers. The cut length of the outermost louver on the outermost side in the extending direction of the portion is formed shorter than the cut length of the other louvers.
[0008]
For example, among the fins that are alternately stacked with the tube, the outermost fin is joined to the side plate as a reinforcing member by brazing, etc., so that the side plate holds the core portion where the fins and the tube are alternately stacked. In this case, the fin formed with the cut length for providing the louver is easily broken starting from the end portion of the cut length of the outermost louver among the plurality of louvers arranged side by side.
[0009]
On the other hand, in the heat exchanger according to claim 1 of the present invention, the outermost louver is cut shorter than the other louvers, that is, the inner louver disposed on the inner side. It is possible to prevent breakage so-called fin breakage.
[0010]
Since only the outermost louver is shorter than other louvers, the performance of the heat exchanger can be maintained.
[0011]
According to claim 2 of the present invention, the side plate is formed in a substantially U-shaped cross section that opens to the side opposite to the fin, and the outermost fin and the side plate include a bent portion and a bottom surface of the side plate. The cut length of the outermost louver is overlapped in a circle with a predetermined radius centered on the outermost joint in the extending direction of the bent portion. It is preferable that the cut length is such that it does not become.
[0012]
For example, when an excitation force generated by the operation of an internal combustion engine mounted on the vehicle or an external force due to vehicle vibration or the like according to the road surface condition on which the vehicle travels is applied to the side plate, the junction where the side plate is joined to the outermost fin Of these, stress is likely to concentrate at the outermost joint.
[0013]
On the other hand, in the heat exchanger according to claim 2 of the present invention, the separation distance between the outermost joint portion and the end portion of the cut length for providing the outermost louver in the fin is set to a predetermined radius. By securing the strength against breakage, even if an external force is applied to the side plate, it is possible to prevent occurrence of fin breakage.
[0014]
According to claim 3 of the present invention, the predetermined radius is preferably equal to or larger than a predetermined interval in which the plurality of louvers are arranged in the extending direction of the bent portion.
[0015]
As a result, the end portion of the outermost louver cut length can ensure substantially the same strength as the end portion of the inner louver cut length.
[0016]
Furthermore, the fin thickness can be reduced while maintaining the performance and strength of the heat exchanger. As a result, the weight and cost of the heat exchanger can be reduced.
[0017]
According to claim 4 of the present invention, the heat exchanger according to any one of claims 1 to 3 is attached to a mating member disposed substantially in the vicinity of the excitation source via the side plate. ing. Thereby, it is suitable for the heat exchanger attached to the other member, for example, a radiator, the vehicle side body arrange | positioned through the side plate in the approximate vicinity of excitation sources, such as an internal combustion engine.
[0018]

As shown in FIG. 2, the outermost fin 112o has a cut length of a louver (hereinafter referred to as the outermost louver) 112c2 that is the outermost in the direction in which the bent portion 122a extends among the plurality of
[0038]
The cut length Lb of the outermost louver 112c2 is made shorter than the cut length La of the inner louver 112c1 (Lb <La).

Here, we conducted an environmental load experiment assuming that the
[0040]
In contrast, since the cut length Lb of the outermost louver 112c2 is shorter than the cut length La of the inner louver 112c1, the breaking strength at the end of the cut length of the outermost louver 112c2 in the outermost fin 112o is improved. Can do. As a result, in the case where the
[0041]
Since only the outermost louver 112c2 is shorter than the other louvers 112c1, it is possible to maintain the performance of the heat exchanger. In addition, it is preferable to shorten only the outermost fin 112o and only the outermost louver 112c2 in the fin 112o. In this case, the cutting length of all the louvers is La in the inner fin 112i.
[0042]
In addition, when the cut lengths of all the outermost louvers 112c2 of the outermost fin 112o and the inner fin 112i are Lb dimensions (Lb <La), the difference in the cut length of the outermost louver 112c2 when the

Furthermore, in the present embodiment, the cut length Lb of the outermost louver 112c2 does not overlap with a circle having a radius B centered on the outermost joint (the dashed circle shown in FIG. 2) in the joint 119. (In this embodiment, the radius B is set to 1.8 mm, and the cut length Lb is Lb = La−2 × B = 3.6 mm. Since the brazing material is formed in a grid on the base material forming the
[0044]
On the other hand, ensuring the separation distance between the outermost joint and the end portion of the cut length Lb for providing the outermost louver 112c2 in the outermost fin 112o ensures strength against breakage. Therefore, even if an external force is applied to the side plate, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of fin breakage.
