本発明は、濾過式集塵機で使用し、ダイオキシン類等の有害物質が付着した使用済み濾布を無害化する方法及びその装置に関する。

従来、濾過式集塵機で使用した使用済み濾布は、集塵機を設置する設備内の焼却炉で焼却処分するか、産業廃棄物処理の一定の免許を有する産業廃棄物処理業者等に委託し、灰溶融炉に投入し処理するか埋め立てによる処分などが行われていた。
また、本願発明者等によってダイオキシン類の除去方法として、配管内を気体により輸送せしめる飛灰の輸送に際し、輸送配管適所でマイクロ波又は紫外線を照射しダイオキシン類を除去する方法が提案されている

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
近年ダイオキシン類の人体への悪影響を最小限に抑制する目的で、平成14年12月1日以降、「廃棄物焼却炉に係るばいじん等に含まれるダイオキシン類の量の基準及び測定の方法に関する省令」により、廃棄物中に含有されるダイオキシン類の含有濃度は、集塵灰1グラムにつき3ナノグラム以下に規制されることとなり、原則として埋め立て処分等される廃棄物に対してもダイオキシン類を除去する措置を施す必要が生じることとなった。
本発明はかかる点に鑑み、簡便な設備でダイオキシン類等の有害物質の付着した濾過式集塵機で使用した使用済み濾布を無害化できる方法とその装置を提供することを目的とする。

上記目的を達成するため、本発明の使用済み濾布の無害化方法は、濾過式集塵機で使用した使用済み濾布に、マイクロ波を一定時間照射せしめ、該使用済み濾布に付着した有害物質を無害化することを特徴とする。

上記の構成からなる本発明は、濾過式集塵機で使用した使用済み濾布を、マイクロ波の照射により確実に無害化することができる。

また、第2の発明は上記使用済み濾布の無害化方法を実施するための装置に関し、筐体内部にマイクロ波を照射するマイクロ波照射機構と、濾過式集塵機で使用した使用済み濾布を移送する移送機構とを備えたことを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明のダイオキシン類の除去方法の実施の形態を図面に基づいて説明する。

図1は、本発明による使用済み濾布の無害化方法及びその装置を説明する全体図を示す。

本発明における使用済み濾布の無害化装置1は、使用済み濾布ロールRを移送する移送機構3上に、下面を開放した筐体4を配設し、該筐体4の内部を隔壁5と天井8によって筐体4の内部を区画し、さらに隔壁5の下方には下面を開放した遮蔽用天井6を配備し、遮蔽用天井6には使用済み濾布ロールRの移行方向を遮るように、遮蔽部材7を吊設せしめ、遮蔽用天井6と遮蔽部材7によって区画された空間を遮蔽室Bとし、天井8と隔壁5によって区画される空間を照射室Aとして構成するものである。

また、搬送機構によって順次使用済み濾布を無害化装置内に送り込むことによりダイオキシン類のばく露防止を行うことができる他、遮蔽部材によって内部で発生するマイクロ波が外部に漏れることを防止するとともに、遮蔽部材によって形成した遮蔽室を設けることによって隣り合う照射室のマイクロ波同士が干渉することを有効に防止することができる。

さらに、無害化装置を移動型搬送車両に載置させるときは、1台の装置で巡回処理を行うことにより複数の濾過式集塵機を設置するゴミ焼却場等の使用済み濾布の無害化を行うことができる等の効果を有する。
