複数階のビル等の建物内で、電話やインターネット等の情報ケーブルを配線する場合、複数本の情報ケーブルを束ねた情報通信幹線ケーブルの上端部に吊り下げ支持部を設けて情報ブランチケーブルを構成し、吊り下げ支持部を建物の上部に設けられた取り付け金具に吊り下げた状態とし、下端部の情報ケーブルを各階に配線するようにしている。

従来の情報ブランチケーブルでは、吊り下げ支持部として、支持線の先端部をU字状に折り曲げてフックを形成し、このフックの根本をT型端子で圧着する構造のものや、編組線を用いた構造のものが用いられている。

この発明は上記のような事情を考慮してなされたものであり、その目的は、安価でありがら、自重に対する荷重強度を向上させることができる情報ブランチケーブルを提供することである。

この発明の情報ブランチケーブルは、複数本の情報ケーブルを束ねた情報通信幹線ケーブルと、上記情報通信幹線ケーブルを吊り下げ支持する吊り下げ支持部とを具備し、上記吊り下げ支持部は、外被を有する支持線の先端部をU字状に折り曲げてフックを形成し、このフックの根本を少なくとも1つのT型端子で圧着し、かつ上記支持線の端末の外被を剥ぎ、露出した支持線を筒型の圧着端子で圧着することを特徴とする。

図1は、この発明の第1の実施の形態において、複数階のビル等の建物内で電話やインターネット等の情報ケーブルを配線する場合に使用される情報ブランチケーブルの構成を示している。この情報ブランチケーブルは、複数本の情報ケーブル11を束ねた情報通信幹線ケーブル12と、この情報通信幹線ケーブル12の上端部に設けられた吊り下げ支持部13とから構成されている。
