TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a swing drive device for a construction machine, and more particularly to a swing drive device for a construction machine configured to swing an upper swing body by driving an electric motor in addition to driving a hydraulic motor.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Generally, in a construction machine such as a hydraulic shovel, an upper revolving unit is pivotably mounted on a lower traveling unit, and a hydraulic pump driven by an engine and a hydraulic motor driven by pressure oil from the hydraulic pump are provided. And the upper revolving unit is configured to rotate through the reduction gear by driving the hydraulic motor. In order to cope with various tasks from a light load to a heavy load, an engine having a large output capacity that allows for a work with a maximum load is mounted.
[0003]
However, an engine having an excessive output capacity is installed for light or medium load work, which is disadvantageous in terms of fuel efficiency, noise, production cost, and the like. In addition, since the hydraulic oil of the hydraulic pump is supplied to the hydraulic motor via the control valve, energy loss occurs, and the pressure loss increases due to the length of the hydraulic piping, resulting in a large load on the engine and poor fuel economy. There is a defect.
[0004]
Therefore, a motor-generator and a clutch are connected to the output shaft of the engine, and an electric motor and a hydraulic pump are connected via the clutch. There is known a construction machine configured to drive a hydraulic pump by selecting not only electric motor power but also a combined power of an engine and an electric motor (for example, see Patent Document 1).
[0005]
In addition, the electric motor is rotated by a generator or a battery driven by the engine, and the hydraulic pump is driven by the electric motor, and the rotation of the electric motor is transmitted to a traveling or turning speed reducer. A construction machine configured as described above is also known (for example, see Patent Document 2).

[0008]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The construction machine described in Patent Literature 1 can select a power source according to the load state. However, since the hydraulic oil of the hydraulic pump is supplied to each hydraulic actuator via the control valve, the problem of large energy loss is caused. It cannot be eliminated.
[0009]
In the construction machine described in Patent Document 2, running and turning are performed by driving an electric motor. However, in heavy-load work, there is a possibility that the electric motor alone will not have enough torque to make driving difficult.
[0010]
Therefore, technical problems to be solved arise in order to provide a turning drive device that can cope with various operations from a light load to a heavy load while reducing the size of an engine and a hydraulic device. The purpose is to solve this problem.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention has been proposed to achieve the above object, and the invention according to claim 1 has a hydraulic pump driven by an engine, in which an upper revolving unit is pivotably mounted on a lower traveling unit. A hydraulic motor driven by pressurized oil from the hydraulic pump, wherein the hydraulic motor drives the upper revolving unit via a reduction gear to rotate the upper revolving unit. Provided is a turning drive device for a construction machine in which an electric motor is connected coaxially with a hydraulic motor, and the electric motor can be used to assist the hydraulic motor.
[0012]
If a large load is applied during the work, the electric motor can be driven by the electric power of the generator or the battery driven by the engine, and the turning can be performed by the driving force of both the hydraulic motor and the electric motor.
[0013]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, a construction machine is provided with a sensor for detecting an operation direction and an operation amount of a swing lever, and a controller for controlling a rotation direction and a rotation speed of the electric motor based on a detection signal of the sensor. A drive is provided.
[0014]
Since the controller controls the rotation of the electric motor in accordance with the operation of the turning lever, it is possible to perform the optimal assist drive according to the work situation.
[0015]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, a construction machine includes a sensor for detecting a rotation direction and a turning pressure of a hydraulic motor, and a controller for controlling a rotation direction and a rotation speed of the electric motor based on a detection signal of the sensor. A drive is provided.
[0016]
Since the controller controls the rotation of the electric motor in accordance with the rotation direction and the turning pressure of the hydraulic motor, it is possible to perform the optimal assist drive according to the work situation.
[0017]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 shows a hydraulic excavator 10 as an example of a construction machine, and an upper revolving unit 13 is mounted on a lower traveling unit 11 via a revolving mechanism 12 so as to be freely rotatable. The upper revolving unit 13 is provided with a cab 14 on one front side thereof, and a boom 15 is attached to a front central portion of the upper revolving unit 13 so that the boom 15 can be raised. Further, an arm 16 is attached to the tip of the boom 15 so as to be vertically rotatable, and a bucket 17 is attached to the tip of the arm 16.
[0018]
FIG. 2 is a configuration diagram of the turning drive device. A generator 21 and a hydraulic pump 22 are connected to an output shaft 20 a of the engine 20. The generator 21 and the hydraulic pump 22 are driven by rotation of the engine 20. The hydraulic pump 22 is connected to main lines 24 and 25 via a control valve 23, and the main lines 24 and 25 are connected to a hydraulic motor 26. The output shaft 26a of the hydraulic motor 26 is connected to the upper swing body 13 via a speed reducer 27.
[0019]
When the turning lever 28 is tilted from the neutral position to the left or right direction, the pilot pressure is derived from the remote control valve 29 to the pilot oil passage 30 or 31 according to the operation direction and the operation amount, and the control valve 23 is operated. Then, the hydraulic oil discharged from the hydraulic pump 22 is led out to the main pipeline 24 or 25, and the hydraulic motor 26 is driven forward or reverse. When the hydraulic motor 26 rotates, the rotation thereof is reduced by the speed reduction device 27 and transmitted to the upper revolving unit 13, and the upper revolving unit 13 turns left or right.
[0020]
Here, an electric motor 33 is connected coaxially with the hydraulic motor 26, and the electric power generated by the generator 21 is controlled by a controller 40 to drive the electric motor 33. In addition, of the electric power generated by the generator 21, surplus electric power is stored in the battery 34 via the controller 40. The electric power stored in the battery 34 is supplied to the electric motor 33 as needed under the control of the controller 40.
[0021]
The turning lever 28 is provided with a sensor 32 for detecting the operation direction and the operation amount of the turning lever 28. When a detection signal of the sensor 32 is input to the controller 40, the operation direction and the operation amount of the turning lever 28 are calculated. The controller 40 controls the rotation direction and the rotation speed of the electric motor 33 based on the calculation result.
[0022]
The structure of the sensor 32 is, for example, an electric type in which two variable resistors on the left and right sides are provided to change the resistance value according to the tilt of the turning lever 28, and the operation direction and the operation amount of the turning lever 28 are detected by a change in output voltage. Are given.
[0023]
Alternatively, an optical system is provided in which a plurality of slits are provided in a disk and rotated in accordance with the tilt of the swivel lever 28, and the light passing through the slits of the rotating disk is counted to detect the operation direction and amount of operation of the swivel lever 28. In particular, the detection method of the sensor 32 does not matter.
[0024]
Alternatively, as shown in FIG. 3, sensors 35 and 36 for detecting pressure are provided in the main pipelines 24 and 25, and when the detection signals of the sensors 35 and 36 are input to the controller 40, the rotation direction of the hydraulic motor 26 and The swing pressure may be calculated, and the controller 40 may be configured to control the rotation direction and the rotation speed of the electric motor 33 based on the calculation result.
[0025]
As described above, if the electric power is supplied from the generator 21 or the battery 34 to the electric motor 33 and the electric motor 33 is rotated by the control of the controller 40 based on the detection signal of the sensor 32 or the sensors 35 and 36, When a large load is applied inside, the hydraulic motor 26 can be driven by assist.
[0026]
Now, by driving the electric motor 33 under the control of the controller 40 in addition to the driving of the hydraulic motor 26, it is possible to finely adjust the acceleration and deceleration of the upper swing body 13 during turning. Further, when the control valve 23 is returned to the neutral position at the time of turning stop, the hydraulic motor 26 tries to continue rotation by the inertia force of the upper turning body 13, but the damping force is reduced by the electric motor 26 under the control of the controller 40. If provided, it is possible to prevent a sudden increase in hydraulic pressure in the return-side main pipeline and prevent turning hunting.
[0027]
The turning drive device of the present invention has a simple structure and is compact. Therefore, if the turning drive device is additionally mounted on an existing machine, operability can be improved at low cost.
[0028]
Therefore, the present invention can be variously modified without departing from the spirit of the present invention, and it is natural that the present invention extends to the modified ones.
[0029]
【The invention's effect】
As described in detail in the above embodiment, the invention according to claim 1 is configured such that an electric motor is connected coaxially with a turning hydraulic motor and the hydraulic motor can be assist-driven by the electric motor. Therefore, when a large load is applied during the operation, it is possible to compensate for the capacity shortage of the hydraulic pump and the hydraulic motor. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the size of the engine and the hydraulic equipment while responding to various operations from a light load to a heavy load, and to improve fuel efficiency, reduce noise, and reduce production costs. This is an invention that provides various effects.
[0030]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided a sensor for detecting an operation direction and an operation amount of the turning lever, and a controller for controlling a rotation direction and a rotation speed of the electric motor based on a detection signal of the sensor. In addition to the effects of the invention described in Item 1, optimal assist driving can be performed according to the work situation.
[0031]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, there is provided a sensor for detecting a rotation direction and a turning pressure of the hydraulic motor, and a controller for controlling the rotation direction and the rotation speed of the electric motor based on a detection signal of the sensor. The same effect as the invention described in Item 2 can be obtained.
