本発明はダイカストマシンの金型より成形された製品を取出し、この製品を反転させるための製品反転装置に関する。

ダイカストマシンにより成形された製品を取出し、この製品を冷却するため冷却用水槽等に入れるための製品反転装置が周知である。
従来の製品反転装置を図4ないし図6により説明すると、金型1から製品2をダイカストマシン把持具3によりそのビスケット部2aを把持して取出した後、製品取出し用アーム9によりダイカストマシン外部に取出し、製品2を反転するために把持具3を取付けたロッド4の反把持具側にピニオン5を設け、それに噛合うラック6をエアーシリンダ7により図中上下に移動させることによりピニオン5を回転させ、ロッド4を軸方向に回動させて製品2を図6(イ)から図6(ロ)に示すように90°反転させ、冷却用水槽8に製品2を漬けるようにしている。

しかしながら、ピニオン5を回転させるためのラック6およびエアーシリンダ7が製品取出し用アーム9に対し直角方向になっているため図中上下方の寸法Lが大きくなり、金型1と干渉するおそれがあるという欠点があった。
また製品2の冷却は図6(ハ)のように図6(ロ)の90°反転状態からさらに90°反転させた180°反転状態にした方がより効果的な冷却が可能であるにもかかわらず、前記寸法Lは大きくなるという欠点があった。

本発明の目的は前述のような欠点を取除き、金型1に干渉することなく、製品2を180°反転させることが可能な製品反転装置を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
前述の目的を達成するため本発明はダイカストマシン等の製品を金型内から取出し、反転させる製品反転装置において、製品取出し用アームの延長方向に設けたエアーシリンダと、このエアーシリンダのロッド先端に取付けたカムフォローワを設けたライドブロックと、エアーシリンダのロッド側に中間ブロックを挟んで取付けたハウジングと、中間ブロック内にあり、ハウジングに軸方向に回転可能に支承されるとともに、外周面にカムフォローワを取付けたスライドブロックが摺動自在に嵌着する螺旋状溝を設け、エアーシリンダの進退動作によりカムフォローワが螺旋状溝を移動し、0〜180°回動される回転軸と、回転軸の反エアーシリンダ側に取付けた製品を把持する把持具とを有してなることを特徴とするダイカストマシン等の製品反転装置とした。

これによりダイカストマシン等の金型内から取出された製品は、180°回動することが出来、エアーシリンダも製品取出し用アームの延長方向に設けてあるため、金型に干渉することがない。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下本発明の実施の形態を図1ないし図3により説明する。
製品反転装置20は取出し用アーム21の延長方向に設けられた二段式エアーシリンダ22(以下単にエアーシリンダという)と、このエアーシリンダ22のロッド23の先端にはスライドブロック24を設けたカムフォローワ25が取付けられている。エアーシリンダ22のロッド側には中間ブロック26を挟んでハウジング27が固着されている。

製品反転装置20は以上説明したような構成となっており、次にその作用動作に付いて説明する、金型35内から把持具34により製品33のビスケット部33aを把持され、金型キャビテイ内から紙面に対し手前方向に取出された製品33は、図3(イ)に示すような状態となる。次いでエアーシリンダ22の一段目ロッドロッド23が前進(図1中左進する)するとスライドブロック24が図1中左進し、カムフォローワ25が螺旋状溝31および32内の中間位置まで移動し、回転軸28が90°回動し、製品33は図3(ロ)に示すような状態となる。さらにエアーシリンダ22の二段目ロッドロッド23が前進し、カムフォローワ25が螺旋状溝31および32内を終点位置まで移動すると、回転軸28はさらに180°位置まで回動し、製品33は図3(ハ)に示すような状態となる。
前述のエアーシリンダ22は二段式エアーシリンダとしたが勿論これに限るものではなく、一段式のエアーシリンダであっても良い。

【発明の効果】
本発明の製品反転装置20は製品反転用の駆動源であるエアーシリンダ22が製品取出し用アーム21の延長方向に設けてあるので、金型と干渉することがなく、かつ製品33を金型キャビティーからの取出し状態から180°反転状態にすることが出来、製品33の冷却時にビスケット部33aを冷却水中に浸すことなく、製品33のみ有効に冷却が可能となった。
