しかし、特許文献2に記載された発明のように、内視鏡操作部そのものをピストル型に形成してしまうと、一般的な手技(即ち、挿入部を内視鏡操作部から下方に向かう状態で使用する手技)に用いる際に非常に使い難くなり、特殊なケースのための専用内視鏡という非常に不経済なものになってしまう。

そこで、例えば引用文献1に記載された一般的な形状の内視鏡操作部に、本来のグリップ部を握持することなく内視鏡操作部を保持するための保持アダプタを着脱自在に設けることが考えられる。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記の目的を達成するため、本発明の内視鏡操作部は、操作者が握持して内視鏡操作部を保持するためのグリップ部と、吸引操作を行うための吸引操作弁とが設けられた内視鏡操作部において、グリップ部を握持することなく内視鏡操作部を保持するための保持アダプタを内視鏡操作部に着脱自在に設けると共に、吸引操作弁に代わって吸引操作を行うための補助吸引操作弁を保持アダプタに取り付け、保持アダプタを握持する手のいずれかの指先で補助吸引操作弁を操作することができるようにしたものである。

なお、吸引操作弁に対して着脱自在に設けられた配管アダプタから延出する配管チューブを補助吸引操作弁に接続することにより、補助吸引操作弁が、吸引操作弁に固定的に接続された配管の途中に接続された状態になるようにしてもよい。

図面を参照して本発明の実施例を説明する。
図3と図4は、後述する保持アダプタ20が取り付けられていない状態の内視鏡の全体構成を示しており、図3は側面図、図4は背面図である。

内視鏡挿入部1の基端には内視鏡操作部10が連結されており、内視鏡操作部10に配置された湾曲操作部材13を回動操作することにより、内視鏡挿入部1の先端付近に設けられた湾曲部2を任意の角度だけ屈曲させることができる。
