図5は従来の重量のある画像形成装置の運搬状態を示す概略図である。従来の画像形成装置では、運搬用取っ手3が4ヶ所共同じ高さに配置されている(特許文献1)ため、階段を上り下りする運搬時に画像形成装置が不安定になり運搬しにくいという欠点があった。
即ち、図5に示すように、従来の構造の運搬用取っ手3を使用して重量のある画像形成装置を階段で運搬するとき、階段の上側での作業者は不自然な姿勢を強いられて作業の安定性を欠いていた。
しかし、階段運搬時の安定性を重視した取っ手の構造とすると、水平状態での運搬時の安定性が低下する。したがって、階段運搬時および水平状態での運搬時の両方に効果的で安定した構造が求められていた。
そこで本発明の目的は、上記の問題点を解決するために、重量物の画像形成装置を容易に安定して階段運搬できる運搬用取っ手を構成した画像形成装置の構造体を提供することにある。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、図面により本発明の実施の形態を詳細に説明する。図1は本発明による画像形成装置の構造体の実施の形態を示す斜視図である。図2は図1の画像形成装置の構造体の左方下方部分を示す拡大図である。図3は図1の画像形成装置の構造体を示す断面図である。
画像形成装置の構造体Aは、その運搬用取っ手1を装置の一方の側面の上部に一対設けており、運搬用取っ手1とは反対側面の下部には取っ手1とは異なる形状の運搬用取っ手2を一対備えている。つまり、取っ手1と取っ手2とは、装置の対角線上に沿った位置に配置されている。さらに従来通り水平状態での運搬も考慮した、またはオプションの給紙バンク設置時に使用する運搬用取っ手3を本体ベース6面よりやや上部に、前記異なる形状の運搬用取っ手2より上方に設けている。運搬用取っ手3は、取っ手2を設けた側面のみならず、取っ手1を設けた側面側にも同一高さ位置に配置する。

画像形成装置の構造体Aでは、運搬用取っ手1、3はばね等の機構を用いなくても自重で下方に倒れて自動的に穴4a内に収納されるため、運搬用取っ手1、3が出っ張っていることでの怪我などを防止できる。つまり、使用時のみ人手により各取っ手1、3を引き出して把持すればよく、把持を解消すれば自重により穴4a内に収容される。
また、画像形成装置の構造体Aは外観品質を向上させるために運搬用取っ手1、3に外装部材7を取り付けることもできる。

装置最下部近傍と装置最上部近傍の対角線上にある運搬用取っ手2と運搬用取っ手1は階段移動時に使用する。装置最下部の運搬用取っ手2を本体ベース6内から引き出し、装置最上部近傍の運搬用取っ手1は前記と同様に運搬用取っ手1を上方に回転してやれば運搬用取っ手1を使用できる。
図4は本発明による画像形成装置の構造体を実施している装置の階段移動時の状態を示す概略図である。階段移動時についてであるが、従来は図5で示した如く移動時の重心位置が高くなり、非常に不安定な状態で運んでいた。
しかし、本発明の運搬用取っ手2と運搬用取っ手1を持って運ぶと図4の如く装置を上側の運搬者側に傾倒させた状態で運ぶことができ、重心位置も低くなり、安定した状態で非常に楽に運ぶことができる。
図3に示すように前記運搬用取っ手1、3に外装部材7を固定することで、運搬用取っ手1、3の収納時には大きな運搬用取っ手の穴4aがなくなるため、外装カバー8の外観品質が向上する。
