Description

【0001】
クランプ部材82は、PC(ポリカーボネート)、POM(ポリオキシメチレン)、PA(ポリアミド)等の樹脂材料から射出成形により製造することができる。
【0028】

In the tape cartridge as described above, a leader member having a cylindrical shape as a whole is attached to the leading end of the tape-shaped recording medium, and the leader member holds and fixes the leading end of the tape-shaped recording medium around the periphery thereof. ing. The leader member is pulled out of the case of the tape cartridge so as to pull the tape-shaped recording medium when the tape cartridge is used through the opening on the side surface of the case, and is pulled in from the reel hub side when the use is completed. Thus, the cylindrical end of the leader member fits in a predetermined position in the case. FIG. 9 shows a conventional configuration in which such a leader member is set at a predetermined position in a case. FIG. 9 is a plan view of a main part showing an inner surface of a case of a conventional tape cartridge.
[0004]
As shown in FIG. 9, when the leader member 101 is pulled into the case C, it is positioned at a circular predetermined position 102 determined by a semicircular upright wall 103 formed on the inner surface of the case C of the tape cartridge. The spring member 106 presses the cylindrical end surface of the leader member 101 at the predetermined position 102 with the contact surface 107.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
When the holding member of the recording / reproducing apparatus pulls out the leader member 101, the leader member 101 may be pressed against the upright wall 103 due to an overstroke of the holding member or a variation between the devices. In order to maintain the strength of the upright wall when this is repeated, it is desirable to increase the plane width b of the rib 105 in order to increase the contact area between the upright wall and the bottom surface.
[0006]
However, when the plane width b of the rib 105 is widened, the linear spring member 106 needs to be bent relatively large at the bent portion 109 near the rib 105 toward the predetermined position 102 of the circular shape. Is drawn in from the outside through the opening 104 on the side surface of the case C, and comes into contact with the outer contact surface 108 of the spring member 106 as shown by the one-dot chain line in the figure, when the contact surface 107 and the outer contact surface of the spring member 106 There is a possibility that the leading end portion including the spring member 108 does not escape to the left in the drawing, and the leading end portion of the spring member 106 is deformed in the direction in which the leader member 101 enters. If the distal end portion of the spring member 106 is deformed, there arise problems that the leader member cannot be accommodated at a predetermined position or the leader member cannot be held at a predetermined position.
[0007]
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems of the related art, and has as its object to provide a tape cartridge that prevents deformation of a spring member that holds a leader member.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The tape cartridge according to the present invention has a cylindrical shape as a whole for accommodating a reel hub around which a tape-shaped recording medium is wound around the tape so as to be rotatable in a case and fixing a leading end of the tape-shaped recording medium. A tape member provided with a leader member, wherein the leader member is pulled out at the time of use of the tape cartridge through an opening provided on a side surface of the case and is retracted at the end of use, so that an end of the leader member is in the case. When the leader member is retracted toward the predetermined position and the end abuts against the front end of the spring member, the front end is configured to be held and positioned by a spring member at a predetermined position in the inside. The leader is moved from a linear portion where the spring member extends linearly so as to move in a direction to release the holding of the end portion. Characterized in that it is bent at a plurality of locations toward the tip abuts the end of the wood.
[0009]
According to this tape cartridge, when the leader member is pulled toward the predetermined position and its end comes into contact with the tip of the spring member, the spring member is elastically deformed, and the tip of the spring member becomes the end of the leader member. Move in the direction to release the hold. That is, the spring member is configured to bend at a plurality of locations from a linear portion extending linearly to a tip portion abutting on the end portion of the leader member, and the bending angle of the first bent portion from the straight portion toward the tip portion is reduced. Therefore, when the leader member enters, the distal end portion can smoothly escape in the holding release direction without being deformed in the entry direction of the leader member. For this reason, the deformation of the spring member holding the leader member can be prevented.
[0010]
In the above tape cartridge, the spring member may be configured to have the other end supported in a cantilever manner and a linear portion extending linearly from the other end.
[0011]
Further, the tip portion of the spring member has a first contact portion that contacts the end portion when the end portion is pressed at the predetermined position, and when the leader member is retracted toward the predetermined position. A second contact portion capable of contacting the end portion at a position away from the first contact portion, wherein the leader member is retracted toward the predetermined position and the end portion of the spring member is The first contact portion may be configured to move away from the predetermined position when contacting the second contact portion.
[0012]
In the tape cartridge, the leader member may include a pin member where the tape-shaped recording medium is located between a pair of flange portions, and an opening formed in the longitudinal direction of the cylindrical body over both end surfaces of the cylindrical body. And a clamp member that fits in between and clamps the tape-shaped recording medium between the pin member and the pin member.
[0013]
The predetermined position may be formed in a semicircular shape in a plane so as to conform to the shape of the end of the leader member, and may be defined by an upright wall standing upright from an inner surface of the case.
[0014]
Further, the rib portion near the end of the semicircular upright wall can be configured to be located between the linear portion of the spring member and the predetermined position. In this case, even if it is necessary to relatively flex the spring member from the straight portion to the tip portion while maintaining the strength of the rib portion and the upright wall while maintaining the plane width of the rib portion relatively wide, as described above. The distal end of the spring member can move in the holding release direction.
[0015]

As a result, the distal end portion 83 of the magnetic recording tape T is clamped and fixed between the outer peripheral surface of the mandrel portion 81a and the inner peripheral surface of the clamp member 82.
[0029]
Next, a case where the tape cartridge is mounted on the recording / reproducing apparatus will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 4 is a front view conceptually showing a traveling path of a tape pulled out from the tape cartridge shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 in the recording / reproducing apparatus.
[0030]
As shown in FIG. 3, the drive member 85 of the device 200 has a tooth portion 88 formed on the outer periphery thereof for engaging with the engagement teeth 34 a of the hub 32, and a ring-shaped magnet 87 on the inner periphery side of the tooth portion 88. Is embedded.
[0031]
As shown in FIG. 4, when the tape cartridge 100 is mounted on the recording / reproducing apparatus 200, as shown in FIG. 3, the driving member 85 of the apparatus 200 and the tape cartridge 100 relatively approach each other, and the driving member 85 moves downward. The magnet 87 of the driving member 85 passes through the through hole 21 of the case 2, approaches the metal plate 34 made of a soft magnetic material on the lower surface 32 a side of the hub 32, magnetically attracts the metal plate 34, and the tooth portion of the driving member 85. 88 engages with the engagement teeth 34 a of the hub 32. Then, the brake release member 6 is moved in the direction B ′ (the direction opposite to the direction B) in FIG. 2 by the projections of the teeth 88 of the drive member 85 by the leg portions 6b, so that the brake lock member 5 It moves by a fixed stroke against the urging force, reaches the unlocked position as shown in FIG. 3, and a gap is formed between the tooth portion 51 and the tooth portion 35, thereby disengaging the two. As a result, the rotation of the drive shaft 86 of the drive member 85 allows the reel hub 3 to rotate.
[0032]
Next, the door member 7 is opened by an opening member (not shown) on the recording / reproducing apparatus 200 side, and the leader member 8 is engaged with a holding member (not shown) on the apparatus 200 side by the engaging portions 85a and 85b in FIG. While being held, the magnetic recording tape is pulled out toward the apparatus 200 through the tape pull-out opening 73 while pulling the magnetic recording tape, and the magnetic recording tape T is wound around the hub of the reel hub 204.
[0033]
Then, the reel hub 3 of the tape cartridge 100 and the reel hub 204 of the recording / reproducing apparatus 200 are driven to rotate, so that the magnetic recording tape T is moved in the horizontal direction X in FIG. The recording or reproducing head 202 performs recording or reproduction on the magnetic recording tape T while traveling while being guided by the guides 201 and 203 on both sides of the recording and reproducing head 202.
[0034]
Next, a configuration in which the leader member of FIGS. 1 and 5 is accommodated in a predetermined position inside the tape cartridge will be described with reference to FIGS. 6, 7, and 8. FIG. FIG. 6 is a perspective view of a main part showing a predetermined position and a spring member where the leader member is accommodated in the inner surface of the upper case of FIGS. FIG. 7 is a perspective view of a main part showing a state where the leader member is settled at a predetermined position on the inner surface of the upper case of FIG. FIG. 8 is a main part plan view showing a state where the leader member is settled at a predetermined position on the inner surface of the upper case in FIG.
[0035]
As shown in FIGS. 6 and 8, on the inner surface 1a of the upper case 1, a predetermined semi-circular predetermined area 70 conforming to the shape of the disk portion 81d of the leader member 8 of FIG. 5 is formed. . The predetermined region 70 is formed in a semicircular shape so as to fall from a planar thick portion 71 a on the inner surface 1 a, and is defined by an upright wall 71 erected from the inner surface 1 a of the upper case 1 to the thick portion 71 a. . On the inner surface 1a, a passage 73a of the leader member 8 is formed so as to fan out from a semicircular predetermined region 70 toward the opening 73.
[0036]
Further, a plate-shaped spring member 74 is provided in a direction perpendicular to the inner surface 1a of the upper case 1, and is supported by a support portion 71b of the inner surface 1a at a rear end portion 80.
[0037]
The spring member 74 includes a straight portion 75 linearly extending from the rear end portion 80, a first bent portion 76 bent from the straight portion 75 toward a predetermined region 70, and a predetermined portion separated from the first bent portion 76. A second bent portion 77 that is further bent toward the region 70, a first contact portion 78 that contacts the disk portion 81 d of the leader member 8 that is accommodated in the predetermined region 70, and the leader member 8 is externally passed through the opening 73. The disc portion 81d includes a second contact portion 79 that can be contacted as shown by a dashed line in FIG. 8 when the disc portion 81d is pulled in. The first and second bent portions 76 and 77, and the first , The second abutment portions 78 and 79 constitute a distal end portion 74a.
[0038]
As shown in FIGS. 6 to 8, the thick portion 71 a extends between the semicircular predetermined region 70 and the spring member 74 and is located at the end of the upright wall 71 to form the rib portion 72. The rib portion 72 is located between the semicircular predetermined region 70 and the linear portion 74 and the first and second bent portions 76 and 77 of the spring member 74, and has a relatively large planar width w. . Therefore, the strength of the upright wall 71 and the rib portion 72 can be sufficiently obtained.
[0039]
As shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, when the leader member 8 is pulled into the tape cartridge 100, the disk portion 81 d which is the end of the leader member 8 is surrounded by the upright wall 71 and fits in the predetermined area 70. At this time, the disc member 81d of the leader member 8 is pressed and held by the first contact portion 78 of the spring member 74, and is positioned at a predetermined position.
[0040]
In addition, the lower case 2 side is configured in the same manner as described above with respect to the disk portion 81e at the other end of the leader member 8, and the leader member 8 is pressed by the spring members at predetermined positions while being pressed by the disk members 81d and 81e at both ends. It fits in the position and is positioned.
[0041]
Next, the operation of pulling the leader member 8 into the tape cartridge will be described with reference to FIGS. As shown in FIG. 4, the leader member 8 of the tape cartridge 100 mounted on the recording / reproducing apparatus 200 is pulled out to the apparatus side, and the reel hub section 204 of the apparatus side and the reel hub section 3 of the tape cartridge 100 rotate while the magnetic recording tape is rotated. Recording / reproduction is performed on T. After the recording / reproduction is completed, the leader member 8 is pulled while the magnetic recording tape T is wound on the reel hub 3 side, and is pulled into the tape cartridge 100 through the opening 73.
[0042]
When the leader member 8 is pulled in from the opening 73 while passing through the passage 73a, depending on the position of the leader member 8 in the passage 73a, the disk portion 81d is brought into contact with the second abutment of the spring member 74 as shown by a one-dot chain line in FIG. It may come into contact with the portion 79. By this contact, the spring member 74 is elastically deformed, and the distal end portion 74a moves in the direction of the arrow a in FIG. 8, and when the leader member 8 is further retracted, the disk portion 81d moves as shown by the broken line in FIG. While pressing the distal end portion 74a out of the passage 73a against the pressing elastic force of the above, it fits inside the predetermined region 70 so as to contact the upright wall 71.
[0043]
Further, the retraction force to the leader member 8 as described above is determined by the standard, but since the rib portion 72 is configured to have a relatively large plane width w, the upright wall 71 and the rib portion 72 have sufficient strength. The upright wall 71 is less likely to be damaged or the like even when the leader member 8 is pulled in and abutted.
[0044]
As described above, since the relatively thick rib portion 72 having the plane width w exists between the predetermined region 70 and the spring member 74, the bending angle from the straight portion 75 to the first contact portion 78 increases. The tip 74a of the spring member 74 is bent at the first and second bent portions 76 and 77 between the straight portion 75 and the first contact portion 78, and is bent from the straight portion 75 toward the tip 74a. Since the angles are dispersed and the bending angle at one location is not too tight, the spring member 74 is elastically deformed so that the tip portion 74a moves in the release direction a when the leader member 81 contacts.
[0045]
As described above, when the disk portion 81d of the leader member 8 falls within the predetermined area 70, the distal end portion 74a of the spring member 74 is elastically restored, and the disk portion 81d is brought into the first contact portion at the solid line position in FIG. The leader member 8 is pressed down and held, so that the leader member 8 is positioned in the predetermined area 70. Then, the door member 7 closes the opening 73, and the tape cartridge 100 can be taken out of the recording / reproducing apparatus 200.
[0046]
As described above, according to the tape cartridge 100 of the present embodiment, the leader member 8 is pulled inside after the use is completed, and the disk portion 81d at the end of the leader member 8 is brought into contact with the distal end portion 74a of the spring member 74 in the second contact state. When contacting the portion 79, the distal end portion 74a of the spring member 74 is elastically deformed in the release direction a for releasing the pressing of the disc portion 81d by the first contact portion 78, so that the position of the leader member 8 does not shift. Thus, the leader member 8 can be settled at a predetermined position determined by the predetermined area 70.
[0047]
Although the present invention has been described with reference to the embodiment and the examples as described above, the present invention is not limited to these, and various modifications can be made within the technical idea of the present invention. For example, the distal end portion 74a of the spring member 74 in FIG. 8 may be bent in more steps between the linear portion 75 and the first contact portion 78.
[0048]
【The invention's effect】
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, when the leader member fixed to the front-end | tip of a tape-shaped recording medium is pulled in inside and abuts on the spring member for holding a leader member, the tape which can prevent deformation of a spring member can be prevented.
