Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an order reception terminal, an order promotion system and a method for promoting orders for making it possible to easily order photograph-related articles using image data obtained with digital cameras to urge a user to repeatedly order the photograph-related articles. <P>SOLUTION: A photo studio 1 having an order receiving terminal 2 and an output means 3 is provided with a means for supporting orders using conversation with an operator and images. The user is instructed on operating methods to enable the user to easily place orders. Information about the orders previously placed using the order reception terminal is stored as history information. The history information is referred to so as to set the order of displaying order screens and the arrangement of the screens and to print the history information to enhance the operability of the order-reception terminal. Print charges are lowered according to the number of orders or the like or user identification information is recorded on each photograph-related article and made usable as a membership card to urge the user to repeat using the photo studio. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI

本発明は、注文受付端末及び注文受付システム並びに注文受付方法に関し、特に、デジタルカメラで得られた画像データを用いて写真プリントなどの写真関連商品を注文する注文受付端末及び注文受付システム並びに注文受付方法に関する。

【従来の技術】
近年、高性能のデジタルカメラが低価格で提供されるようになってきている。デジタルカメラでは、内部に記憶された画像データを簡単にパソコン等のコンピュータ端末に転送することができ、パソコンに予めインストールされたアルバムソフトやスライドショーソフトなどのアプリケーションを用いてモニタ上で写真画像を閲覧することができる。

ここで、デジタルカメラで撮影した写真画像をユーザ自身が閲覧する場合は画像データをパソコンのモニタに表示すればよいが、写真画像を知人等に見せる場合には写真プリントとして出力した方が便利である。その場合には、デジタルカメラやパソコンを家庭用プリンタに接続することにより画像データを写真プリントとして出力することもできる。また、より高精細な写真プリントを希望する場合には、デジタルカメラやメディアをミニラボ等の写真店に持ち込み、注文受付端末を操作して注文を行うことによって、写真店に備える高性能のプリンタで写真プリントを作成することもできる。また、近くに写真店がない場合には、コンビニエンスストア等の店舗に設置されたキオスク（無人端末）を用いて注文を行うことによっても同様の高精細な写真プリントを作成することもできる。上記注文受付端末に関して、例えば、特開２０００−３２１６７７号公報や特開２００１−２９７２３８号公報に、注文受付端末の操作性を向上させるための各種方法が提案されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
このように注文受付端末やキオスクを用いて注文を行うことにより、デジタルカメラで取得した画像データから高精細な写真プリントを作成することができるが、デジタルカメラのユーザは必ずしも機械操作に慣れているわけではなく、注文受付端末を操作することに抵抗を感じるユーザも多く、注文受付端末を用いたした注文方法が十分に利用されているとは言い難い。

また、写真店では、デジタルカメラなどで取得した画像データを用いて写真プリントを作成するのみならず、ポストカードや名刺、シールなども作成することができ、画像データを様々な形態で利用することができる。しかしながら、写真店で上記様々なサービスが行われていること自体があまり知られておらず、写真店が十分に利用されているとは言い難く、写真店の利用を促進できるようなシステムの提案が求められている。

本発明は、上記問題点に鑑みてなされたものであって、その主たる目的は、デジタルカメラで得られた画像データを用いた写真関連商品の注文を簡単に行うことができ、また、繰り返し写真関連商品の注文を行うように仕向けることができる注文受付端末及び注文受付システム並びに注文受付方法を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するため、本発明の注文受付端末は、ユーザが提供した画像データに基づく画像が表示される写真関連商品の注文を行う注文受付端末において、前記注文受付端末の操作情報をユーザに対応付けて記憶する手段を備え、前記ユーザに対応付けられた前記操作情報に基づいて、前記注文受付端末で表示される注文画面の表示順又は画面構成が設定されるものである。

本発明においては、前記注文受付端末では、前記操作情報を参照して、前記ユーザが以前に行った操作を識別可能に表示する構成とすることができる。

また、本発明の注文受付システムは、ユーザが提供した画像データに基づく画像が表示される写真関連商品の注文を行う注文受付端末と、前記注文受付端末の注文に従って前記写真関連商品を作成する出力装置とを備える注文受付システムにおいて、前記出力手段に、前記写真関連商品に前記ユーザを識別するユーザ識別情報を記録する手段を備え、前記注文受付端末に、該注文受付端末の操作情報をユーザに対応付けて記憶する手段と、前記写真関連商品から前記ユーザ識別情報を読み取る手段とを備え、前記注文受付端末では、前記写真関連商品から読み取った前記ユーザ識別情報で特定されるユーザに対応付けられた前記操作情報に基づいて、前記注文受付端末で表示される注文画面の表示順又は画面構成が設定されるものである。

また、本発明の注文受付方法は、写真関連商品の注文を行う注文受付端末と、前記注文受付端末の注文に従って前記写真関連商品を作成する出力装置とを備える写真店における注文受付方法であって、前記注文受付端末の操作を支援する手段を設け、該支援手段を利用して前記注文受付端末で注文を行うユーザに対して、該ユーザが提供した画像データに基づく画像が表示される写真関連商品を提供することにより、前記ユーザに前記注文受付端末の操作を修得させるものである。

このように、本発明は、注文受付端末及び出力手段を備える写真店に、オペレータとの対話や映像により注文受付端末の操作方法を教育して注文を支援する手段を設けることにより、初心者のユーザであっても操作に迷うことなく簡単に注文を行うことができ、これにより写真店の利用を促進することができる。

また、ユーザが注文受付端末を用いて以前に行った注文に関する情報（操作順序や注文内容等）が履歴として記憶され、次回に注文を行う際に、この履歴情報を参照して注文画面の表示順や構成を設定することにより、ユーザは履歴情報を参照して注文を行うことができ、注文受付端末の操作性を向上させることができる。また、上記履歴情報をペーパーマニュアルとしてプリントすることによっても、ユーザは履歴情報を参照して注文を行うことができ、注文受付端末の操作性を向上させることができる。

また、注文の利用回数等に応じてプリント料金を割り引く等の特典を与えることにより、繰り返し写真店を利用するように仕向けることができる。更に、注文の体験で作成した写真関連商品にユーザを識別する情報を記録して会員証として利用可能とすることにより、ユーザに対応付けられた履歴情報を読み出す際にユーザ識別情報等を入力する必要がなくなり、注文受付端末をより使いやすくすることができると共に他の写真店との差別化を図り、繰り返し写真店を利用するように仕向けることができる。そして、ユーザにこのような便宜を図ることにより、注文受付端末を用いた写真プリントや挨拶状、名刺、シール等の写真関連商品の作成を促進することができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
従来技術で示したように、デジタルカメラのユーザは、取得した画像データをパソコンで閲覧したり、家庭用プリンタで出力することが多く、写真店では高精細な写真プリントを作成したり、ポストカードや名刺、シールなどの様々な商品を注文することができるという特徴がありながら、写真店を利用するユーザは少なく、写真店の利用促進を図れないのが現状である。

その原因としては、まず、第１に、一度も写真店を利用した経験がないため、写真店で作成する写真プリントの画質が優れていることや多様な写真関連商品が注文できることを知らないユーザが多いということ、第２に、機械操作に不慣れなユーザは、実際は簡単な操作で注文ができるにも関わらず、注文受付端末での注文が難しいと思い込んで注文受付端末を敬遠してしまうということ、第３に、写真店を繰り返し利用することによるメリットがないためにデジタルカメラのユーザを写真店に囲い込むことができないことなどが考えられる。

そこで、本発明では、デジタルカメラのユーザに、写真店で価値の高い多様な写真関連商品が注文できることや、簡単な操作で注文受付端末を用いて注文ができることを知ってもらうために、ユーザに注文受付端末の操作方法を教育して実際に注文受付端末での注文を体験できるようにする。具体的には、オペレータを配置したり、注文受付端末の操作方法を案内する映像を流して操作を支援し、体験的にユーザの画像データを用いて高画質の写真プリントや挨拶状、名刺、シール等の写真関連商品を作成できるようにする。そして、注文受付端末を用いて行った注文に関する履歴情報を記憶し、この履歴情報を参照して注文受付端末の表示順や構成を設定したり、履歴情報をペーパーマニュアルとしてプリントすることにより、注文受付端末の操作性を向上させる。また、注文受付端末の利用回数に応じて写真関連商品の価格の割引率を変えたり、写真関連商品にユーザを特定する情報を記録して会員証として利用可能とすることにより、ユーザが繰り返して写真店を利用することによってメリットが生じるようにしている。

このような方法を用いることにより、デジタルカメラのユーザは、操作に迷うことなく注文受付端末を用いて注文を体験することができると共にユーザの画像データを用いて作成した高画質の写真プリントや挨拶状、名刺、シール等を得ることができ、また、写真店は、簡単な操作で価値の高い様々な写真関連商品を作成できることをユーザに知らしめると共に、繰り返して写真店を利用するユーザに便宜を図ることにより写真店の利用促進を図ることができる。

【実施例】
上記した本発明の実施の形態についてさらに詳細に説明すべく、本発明の一実施例について図１乃至図６を参照して説明する。図１は、本実施例の写真店の構成を模式的に示す図であり、図２は、注文受付端末の構成を示すブロック図である。また、図３及び図４は、本実施例の注文手順を示すフローチャート図であり、図５は、本実施例の注文受付端末の画面に表示される画面構成例を示す図、図６は、本実施例の出力装置で得られる写真関連商品（名刺）の構成例を示す図である。

図１に示すように、本実施例の写真店１は、ユーザが持ち込んだデジタルカメラやカメラ付き携帯電話機、これらの機器に装着可能なメディアなどからユーザの画像データを取り込んで写真プリントや挨拶状、名刺、シール等（以下、これらを総称して写真関連商品と呼ぶ。）の注文を行う注文受付端末２と、該注文受付端末２で作成した注文に従って写真関連商品の作成を行うプリンタ等の出力装置３とを備えている。また、本実施例の写真店１には、初めて注文受付端末２を用いて注文を行うユーザも来店するため、このようなユーザが注文受付端末２の操作に迷うことがないように注文をサポートするオペレータが待機するサービスカウンター４や注文受付端末２の操作方法などを紹介する映像を流す映像装置５等を備える構成とすることもできる。

なお、以下では注文受付端末２と出力装置３とが別々に構成される場合について示すが、注文受付機能とプリント作成機能とを備えた無人端末を用いる構成としてもよい。また、以下の説明で用いる体験とは、実際に注文受付端末２を操作して写真関連商品を作成する行為全般を意味し、有償、無償を問わず、注文受付端末を初めて操作する場合に限らない。

また、図２に示すように、注文受付端末２には、予め定められたシーケンスで注文画面を表示するモニタ等の表示手段２ｂと、注文の操作やユーザを識別する情報（以下、ユーザ識別情報と呼ぶ。）の入力を行うキーボードやタッチパネル等の操作手段２ｃと、ユーザが持ち込んだデジタルカメラやカメラ付き携帯電話機、メディア等からユーザの画像データを読み取る端子やメディアスロット等の画像データ入力手段２ｄと、ユーザが操作した手順や注文内容、読み取った画像データ等を含む注文情報を作成する注文情報作成手段２ｅと、注文情報をユーザ識別情報に対応付けて履歴情報として記録する履歴情報記録手段２ｆと、これらの手段を制御する制御手段２ａとを備えている。

なお、本実施例では注文受付端末２に履歴情報を記憶する構成としているが、注文受付端末２にコンピュータ端末やサーバを接続し、コンピュータ端末で注文受付端末２を制御すると共に履歴情報を記憶、管理したり、サーバに履歴情報を記憶する構成としてもよい。また、ユーザが行った操作の手順等をペーパーマニュアルとして出力する場合には、注文受付端末２にプリンタ等の出力手段を備える構成としたり、写真関連商品として、光学的又は磁気的手段によりユーザ識別情報を記憶した会員証を兼ねる名刺等を作成する場合には、この写真関連商品からユーザ識別情報を読み取る読み取り手段を備える構成とすることもできる。

上記システムを用いて、ユーザが初めて本実施例の写真店１を利用して写真関連商品の作成を体験する手順について、図３のフローチャート図を参照して説明する。まず、ステップＳ１０１で、写真店１に来店したユーザはサービスカウンター４に待機しているオペレータに説明を聞いたり、パンフレットやマニュアル等を読んだり、映像手段５によって表示される操作方法の案内映像を見て、写真店１で行う体験の内容を把握する。このステップは必ずしも必要ではないが、本実施例の写真店１は、写真店１を利用したことが無いユーザに写真プリント等の注文を体験させることを第１の目的としているため、初心者のユーザでも気軽に利用でき、機械操作に不慣れなユーザでも迷うことなく操作を行えるようにユーザを教育することが好ましい。

次に、体験内容の概略を把握したユーザは、注文受付端末２を用いて写真関連商品の注文を体験する。この注文受付端末２での注文の方法は限定されないが、例えば、ステップＳ１０２で注文受付端末２の表示手段２ｂに表示されている注文画面の項目の中から体験してみたいと思う項目（例えば、写真プリントの作成、挨拶状の作成、名刺の作成、シールの作成等）を選択する。

次に、ステップＳ１０３で、ユーザは持参したデジタルカメラやカメラ付き携帯電話機を端子に接続したり、メディアをスロットに挿入したりして、ユーザの画像データを注文受付端末２に読み込ませる。なお、本実施例では、出力装置３を用いて作成される写真関連商品の価値を高めるためにユーザ自身の画像データを利用することを特徴としているが、画像データを提供する方法は任意であり、例えば、デジタルカメラの画像データをパソコン等に転送してＣＤ−ＲやＤＶＤ−Ｒ等の他の記録媒体に記録し、この記録媒体を注文受付端末２に挿入したり、注文受付端末２にインターネット接続機能を設け、ユーザがサーバにアップロードした画像データを注文受付端末２にダウンロードする方法等を用いることもできる。

次に、ステップＳ１０４で、注文受付端末２は読み取った画像データを表示手段２ｂ上に表示し、ユーザはその中から注文を行う画像データの選択を行う。この画像データの表示方法や選択方法も任意であり、表示手段２ｂ上に画像データを一つづつ表示したり、全画像データを一覧表示し、タッチパネルなどの操作手段２ｃを操作することによりその中から所望の画像データを選択する。

その後、ステップＳ１０５で、注文受付端末２の表示手段２ｂに表示される指示に従って操作手段２ｃを用いて注文の詳細な条件、例えば、写真プリントの場合はプリントサイズ、挨拶状や名刺の場合は文字の入力、写真と文字のレイアウト、シールの場合はフレームの選択等の設定を行う。また、必要に応じてユーザの氏名や電話番号などのユーザ識別情報の入力も行う。なお、本実施例では、ユーザに注文受付端末２を用いた注文を体験してもらうことを特徴としているため、基本的にこの注文の体験に対しては代金を徴収しないことが好ましく、無償で写真関連商品を提供する場合には注文可能な内容を制限することもできる。例えば、有償で写真プリントを作成する場合にはプリントサイズやプリント枚数が自由に設定できるが、体験の場合はサービスサイズのプリントが１枚のみ作成できるなどのように制限することができる。

次に、ステップＳ１０６で、注文受付端末２ではユーザが操作した手順や注文内容等を履歴情報としてユーザ識別情報に対応付けて履歴情報記憶手段２ｆに記憶する。この履歴情報の内容も任意であるが、少なくともユーザが次回、写真店１に来店した場合に何らかのメリットが生じる情報であることが好ましく、例えば、次回に注文受付端末２を操作する際に、以前に各注文画面でどの項目を選択したのか、どのような条件で写真関連商品を作成したのか等がユーザに分かるように操作の手順を記憶したり、注文の回数や注文の内容を記憶することができる。

なお、この履歴情報は必ずしも注文受付端末２に記憶する必要はなく、注文受付端末２にネットワーク接続されたコンピュータ端末やサーバに記憶することもできる。また、履歴情報記憶手段２ｆに記憶せずにプリンタなどの出力装置を用いて操作の手順を出力する構成とすることもできる。

次に、ステップＳ１０７で、注文受付端末２で作成した注文情報に従って写真プリントや挨拶状、名刺、シール等の作成を行う。具体的には、注文受付端末２で作成した注文情報は、ネットワークで接続された出力装置３に送られ、出力装置３では、該注文情報に従って自動的に又はオペレータの指示により、所望の写真関連商品が作成される。この写真関連商品の作成にあたって、ユーザが本実施例の写真店１を利用することに対して価値が生じるようにすることが好ましく、例えば、図６に示すように、ユーザが提供した画像データに基づくユーザ画像８、ユーザの氏名やＩＤ番号、体験の履歴等の情報、ユーザ識別情報が記録されたユーザ識別情報記録部等が設けられた写真店１の会員証を兼ね備えた名刺を作成することもできる。

そして、ユーザは出力装置３で作成された写真関連商品を確認して、家庭用プリンタで出力した写真プリントとの違いを認識し、また、家庭用プリンタでは出力できない名刺やシール等の写真関連商品を見て、本実施例の写真店１を利用することによる優位性を認識する。

このように、オペレータの説明を聞いたり、映像装置５に映し出された操作案内映像を見ることにより、簡単に注文受付端末２を操作することができ、又、価値の高い写真関連商品を提供することにより、再度の利用を促すことができる。

次に、写真店１を利用したユーザが再度写真店１を利用する場合の手順について図４のフローチャート図を参照して説明する。まず、写真店１に来店したユーザは、操作方法の教育を受けることなく、注文受付端末２を用いて注文情報を作成する。ここで、初回の体験の場合にはユーザが注文受付端末２の操作に迷わないように注文画面を説明するための案内画面などが表示されることが好ましいが、繰り返し注文受付端末２を利用するユーザにとっては、表示される画面が多いとかえって操作が煩雑になってしまう場合もある。そこで、２回目以降の操作の場合には、ステップＳ２０１でユーザ識別情報の入力を行う。このユーザ識別情報は、ユーザの氏名、生年月日、電話番号、ユーザが任意に設定した番号、注文受付端末２が予め定められたルールに従って設定した番号等の任意の情報を用いることができ、ユーザはユーザ識別情報をタッチパネル等を用いて入力したり、ユーザ識別情報が記憶された写真関連商品（例えば、会員証を兼ねた名刺等）を注文受付端末２に挿入する。

すると、ステップＳ２０２で、注文受付端末２では、履歴情報記憶手段２ｆからユーザ識別情報に対応付けて記憶された履歴情報を読み出して、該履歴情報を参照して注文画面の表示順や構成を設定する。例えば、ステップＳ２０３で体験項目を選択する場合には、図５に示すように、前回の体験時に利用した項目（図では名刺の作成）が分かるように、以前に利用した項目を点滅させて表示する等の処理を行う。このような処理を行うことにより、ユーザは前回来店時にどのような体験を行ったかを知ることができ、この履歴情報を参考にして、もう一度同じ写真関連商品を注文するか、別の写真関連商品を注文するかなどの判断材料とすることができる。

次に、ステップＳ２０４で、ユーザは持参したデジタルカメラやカメラ付き携帯電話機を端子に接続したり、メディアや他の記録媒体をスロットに挿入して、ユーザの画像データを注文受付端末２に読み込ませた後、注文受付端末２は読み取った画像データを表示手段２ｂ上に表示し、ステップＳ２０５で、ユーザはその中から注文を行う画像データの選択を行う。

その後、ステップＳ２０６で、注文受付端末２の表示手段２ｂに表示される指示に従って注文情報を作成する。例えば、写真プリントの場合はプリントサイズ、挨拶状や名刺の場合は文字の入力、写真と文字のレイアウト、シールの場合はフレームの選択等を行う。この場合において、初回の体験の場合には注文画面を説明するための案内画面を表示することによりユーザの操作を支援することができるが、リピータの場合は操作にある程度習熟しているため、注文画面の表示順を変更して説明のための案内画面をスキップさせたり、より複雑な処理を可能とするために選択肢を増やしたりすることができる。このように履歴情報を参照して注文画面の表示順や画面構成等を変えることにより、リピータは注文受付端末２の操作の習熟度に応じて迅速に注文を行うことができ、操作性を向上させることができる。

次に、ステップＳ２０７で、注文受付端末２ではユーザが操作した手順や注文情報等を履歴情報に加えて、注文受付端末２の履歴情報記憶手段２ｆや注文受付端末２にネットワーク接続されたコンピュータ端末やサーバに記憶した後、ステップ２０８で、注文受付端末２で作成した注文情報に従って写真プリントや挨拶状、名刺、シール等の作成を行う。この場合においても、繰り返して利用するユーザにメリットが生じるように、繰り返し回数に応じて利用可能なサービスの選択肢を増やしたり、商品の価格の割引率を大きくすることにより何度も写真店１を利用するように仕向けることができる。

このように、本実施例によれば、デジタルカメラの画像データ等を用いて写真関連商品の注文を行う注文受付端末２と、注文受付端末２の注文情報に従って写真関連商品を作成する出力装置３とを備える写真店１に、注文受付端末２の操作を支援するサービスカウンター４や映像装置５などの手段を設けてユーザに操作方法を教育することにより、初めて注文を体験するユーザでも簡単に注文を行うことができ、これにより写真店１を利用するように仕向けることができる。
