【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、所定情報を受信するための車両用アンテナの取付構造と、この取付構造に用いられる車両用インストルメントパネルに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、この種の車両用アンテナ取付構造として、VICS用ビーコンアンテナをインストルメントパネルの内側に配したものが知られている(例えば、特許文献1参照。)。この車両用アンテナ取付構造では、インストルメントパネルの上面に孔部が形成され、ビーコンアンテナのアンテナ本体部を収納するケース体がこの孔部を略面一となるよう閉塞する。

ここで、ビーコンアンテナは、光ビーコン送受信部と、電波ビーコン受信部とを有し、光ビーコンと電波ビーコンの両方を受信可能となっている。これらのビーコンに含まれた渋滞情報等により、車両側で渋滞情報等を認識できるようになっている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、前記車両用アンテナ取付構造では、乗員の視界に入るインストルメントパネルの上面に孔部が形成されているので、車両室内の外観を著しく損なうという問題点がある。
また、インストルメントパネルの上面には、車両室内の塵埃が堆積しやすく、孔部とアンテナのケース体との僅かな間隙からアンテナ本体側へ塵埃が侵入し、アンテナの機能を損なうおそれもある。

本発明は、前記事情に鑑みてなされたものであり、その目的とするところは、車両室内の外観を損なうことなく、且つ、アンテナ本体側へ塵埃が侵入することのない車両用アンテナ取付構造を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
前記目的を達成するため、請求項1に記載の発明では、所定情報を受信するための車両用アンテナが、車両室内に設置されるインストルメントパネルのフロントガラス側の内側に、インストルメントパネルと一体的に設けられる車両用アンテナ取付構造において、前記インストルメントパネルの表面におけるフロントガラスとの接触部分の下方に孔部を形成し、前記車両用アンテナを、前記孔部の内側に配したことを特徴とする。

請求項1に記載の発明によれば、インストルメントパネルとフロントガラスとの接触部分の下方にアンテナ取付部を形成したので、この取付部は車両室内の乗員の視界には入らない。
また、車両用アンテナがインストルメントパネルとフロントガラスとの接触部分の下方であり、車両室内の塵埃はこの接触部分の上側に堆積するので、車両用アンテナ側への塵埃の侵入が抑制される。

請求項2に記載の発明では、請求項1に記載の車両用アンテナ取付構造において、前記車両用アンテナにおける情報の受信方向は、フロントガラス用のワイパーの停止位置より上側を指向することを特徴とする。

また、フロントガラス表面に一時的に汚れが付着して情報の受信状態が一時的に悪化しても、ワイパーを作動させて汚れを払拭し情報の受信状態を速やかに回復することができる。

図1に示すように、この車両用アンテナ取付構造は、車両室内に設置されるインストルメントパネル1のフロントガラス2側の内側に、所定情報を受信するための車両用アンテナ3が、インストルメントパネル2と一体的に設けられるものである。

インストルメントパネル1は、車両室内の前部に設けられ、計器類、空調操作部、オーディオ機器等が埋設される。図1に示すように、インストルメントパネル1は、フロントガラス2との接触部分1aから後方へ向かって略水平に延びるパネル上面部1bを有する。また、インストルメントパネル1には、接触部分1aからフロントガラス2に沿って斜め下方へ延びる延在部1cが形成される。この延在部1cには、車両用アンテナ3が取り付けられるアンテナ取付部1dが形成される。本実施形態においては、アンテナ取付部1dは、延在部1cに形成された凹部1eである。また、このアンテナ取付部1dは、車両用アンテナ3と、車両を識別するためのプレート(VINプレート13)とが択一的に設置されるように構成される。

図1に示すように、フロントガラス2は、車両の室内外を仕切り、前下がりとなるよう車体側に固着される。図10に示すように、フロントガラス2の周縁部には、VINプレート13が車両外部から視認されるように、セラミックプリント2aの切欠部分2bが形成される。

また、自動車車両には、図1に示すように、フロントガラス2の室外側表面を払拭するためのワイパー4が設けられる。ワイパー4は、フロントガラス2の表面と当接するゴム材等を有し所定方向へ延びるブレード部4aと、このブレード部4aに連結され車体側のモータ(図示せず)により回動駆動するアーム部(図示せず)とを有する。図2に示すように、ワイパー4は、ブレード部4aがフロントガラス2の下側にて略水平状態となったときに停止位置となるよう構成されている。

図1に示すように、車両用アンテナ3は、光ビーコン送受信部5と、電波ビーコン受信部6とを有するVICS用ビーコンアンテナである。光ビーコン送受信部5は光ビーコン用制御基板7に設けられ、電波ビーコン受信部6は電波ビーコン用制御基板8に設けられる。各制御基板7,8は別体のプリント基板であり、各制御基板7,8はフレキシブル基板等により電気的に接続される。すなわち、光ビーコン送受信部5と、電波ビーコン受信部6とは互いに別体の制御基板7,8に設けられている。電波ビーコン制御基板8に同軸ケーブル9が接続される(図4参照)。すなわち、車両用アンテナ3は、同軸ケーブル9を介してナビゲーション装置側と情報の送受信をするようになっている。本実施形態においては、光ビーコン送受信部5、電波ビーコン受信部6、光ビーコン用制御基板7、電波ビーコン用制御基板8等がアンテナ本体3aをなしている。

また、車両用アンテナ3は、アンテナ本体3aが内蔵されるケース体10を有する。ケース体10には同軸ケーブル9を挿通する孔が形成され、フロントガラス2側に臨む開口部10fが形成される。ケース体10は、この開口部10fを所定の間隔をおいて外側から覆う赤外線透過面10aを有している。この赤外線透過面10aには、インストルメントパネル1の凹部1eと係合する爪10bが形成される。すなわち、図3に示すように、赤外線透過面10aと開口部10fとの隙間に、インストルメントパネル1の延在部1cを挿入させることにより、図1に示すようにケース体10とインストルメントパネル1とが係合する。ここで、ケース体10とインストルメントパネル1とは係脱自在であり、斜め上側後方へケース体10を移動させるとこれらは係合し、斜め下側前方へケース体10を移動させると、これらの係合が解除される。

図4及び図9に示すように、ケース体10は、赤外線透過面10a側のインストルメントパネル1側に係脱自在に固定される第1部分10cと、この第1部分10cと係脱自在でアンテナ本体3aが固定される第2部分10dとに分割自在となっている。本実施形態においては、第1部分10cがインストルメントパネル1に係脱自在に固定される固定部3cをなし、第2部分10dとアンテナ本体3aが固定部3cに係脱自在に設けられるアンテナ本体部3bをなす。また、本実施形態においては、図5及び図8に示すように、第2部分10dを略左方向へ移動させると、これらの係合は解除され、第2部分10dを略右方向へ移動させると、これらが係合するようになっている。すなわち、車両用アンテナ3の固定部3cのインストルメントパネル1に対する係脱方向と、固定部3c(第1部分10c)に対するアンテナ本体部3bの係脱方向とが異なるよう構成されている。

本実施形態においては、図4、図5、図8及び図9に示すように、第2部分10dには、第1部分10cと係合する凸部10e1を有するレバー部10eが一体形成される。このレバー部10eに、下方向に力を加えることにより、凹部と凸部の係合が解除され、第2部分10dが第1部分10cに対して移動自在となる。

図6に示すように、第2部分10dには、光ビーコン用制御基板7及び電波ビーコン制御基板8が、ねじ12等により固定される。図1に示すように、光ビーコン用制御基板7は電波ビーコン制御基板8よりも第1部分10c側に設置される。光ビーコン用制御基板7は赤外線透過面10aと略平行に設置され、光ビーコン送受信部5が赤外先透過面10a及びフロントガラス2を通じて車両外部と情報の送受信が可能なようになっている。本実施形態においては、光ビーコン送受信部5の送受信方向は、フロントガラス2におけるワイパー4のブレード部4aの停止位置より上側を指向するようになっている。尚、本実施形態においては、図1に示すように、車両用アンテナ3の光ビーコン用制御基板7に、空調装置用の日照センサ11が設けられている。すなわち、日照センサ11にて検出された日射量もまた、同軸ケーブル9を介して送信されるようになっている。

以上のように構成された車両用アンテナ取付構造においては、インストルメントパネル1とフロントガラス2との接触部分1aの下方にアンテナ取付部1dを形成したので、アンテナ取付部1dは車両室内の乗員の視界には入らない。本実施形態においては、日照センサ11もまた、乗員に視認されることはない。
