本発明は、緩めることにより落下するおそれのある部分にネジ締めされるネジに対してその落下を防止するネジ落下防止構造及びネジ落下防止構造を備えた締結部品並びに機器に関するものである。

電気機器を始め、多くの機器にはネジで締結され着脱できる締結部品がある。その中には、建物の天井構造や壁面などに設置されるもので、ネジ締めされたカバーにより被覆された接続端子を備えた換気装置がある(例えば、特許文献1参照)。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記した従来の換気装置やその他の機器において、天井構造や壁面に設置される機器では、締結部品を着脱する際にネジを落下させ、落下したネジにより下にあった器物が損傷したり、ネジ自体が紛失したりする煩わしい問題が伴い勝ちであった。

本発明は、係る従来の問題点を解決するためになされたものであって、その課題とするところは、ネジの脱着においてネジが落下することのないネジ落下防止構造を得ることであり、そのネジ落下防止構造を備えた締結部品や機器を開発することである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
前記課題を達成するために本発明は、緩めることで落下するおそれのあるネジに対し、そのネジを挿通するネジ挿通孔の孔縁に、ネジの螺進退を許容し、ネジのネジ頭に対しては抜脱を規制する突出部を設ける手段を採用する。これにより、ネジ締め込みに当っても、緩めに当ってもネジは突出部に案内され、ネジを保持していなくても良い。そして緩めたネジはネジ頭が突出部により抜出を規制されるので落下することがない。

【発明の実施の形態】
図1は、本実施の形態の換気装置の全体を示す斜視図、図2はそのグリルを除いて示す底面図である。この換気装置1は、天井構造に吸込口2を室内に下向きに臨ませて取付けられる。吸込口2には天井面に沿う係脱可能のグリル3が装着される。送風機4を収めた本体箱体5の一隅部には接続端子6が樹脂製の端子ボックス7に収められて取付けられている。端子ボックス7は、開放した下面がネジ8により係脱できる樹脂製のカバー9で被蓋されている。接続端子6には設置後に電源コードが接続される。

カバー9のネジ8を挿通するネジ挿通孔10の孔縁には、ネジ8をそのほぼ全長にわたりネジ締め方向に向かって収納した突出部11がネジ落下防止構造としてカバー9に一体成形されている。突出部11は、ネジ頭12の外径を囲む四本の支持脚13で構成されている。四本の支持脚13は、互いに90度ずつずれた位置にあり、ネジ8を保持するに足る剛性を備えている。支持脚13の対向する二本は、図3に示すようにネジ頭12の外径にほぼ等しい間隔で基部から先端まで同じ太さで起立している。

そして他の対向する二本もネジ頭12の外径にほぼ等しい間隔で起立しているが、その先端には、図4に示すようにネジ頭12の外径の中に突出す爪14が内向きに形成されている。この爪14は外面の内端部が内向きの斜面に構成され、比較的容易に弾性変形する。換気装置1の組立てにおいては、ネジ8を支持脚13の中にネジ部から入れ、ネジ頭12を押し込むと、爪14が内側へ弾性変形してネジ頭12の通過を許容し、ネジ8を四本の支持脚13の中に簡単に収めることができる。また、支持脚13を締結部品であるカバー9に一体成形しているので、ネジ落下防止構造が脱落することもない。

接続端子6に電源コードを接続する際には、締結部品であるカバー9を端子ボックス7からネジ8を緩めて外す必要があるが、端子ボックス7にネジ込まれているネジ8を緩めても、ネジ8は四本の支持脚13にガイドされて螺退し、保持する必要はなく端子ボックス7から外すことができ、落下することもない。カバー9の装着においても支持脚13によってネジ込み方向に保持されているネジ8をそのままネジ頭12に工具を当ててネジ込めばよく、カバー9の脱着を簡単に行うことができる。

このネジ落下防止構造は、換気装置1等の電気機器の他にも、図6に示すような天井や壁面に取付けられる照明機器15の電源コード接続部のネジや、図7に示すような壁取付形のスイッチボックス16にも採用することができる。さらには、図8に示すような壁面に装着される通気端末部品であるベントキャップ17の取付け用のネジ8に対しても適用することができる。
