近年、携帯電話やパーソナルコンピュータ等の電子機器の小型化や軽量化が進む中、固定筐体に対し可動筐体が開閉可能に装着された、所謂、折畳み式のものが増えており、これらに用いられる開閉装置においても、良好な開閉操作感触や開閉位置の保持の確実なものが求められている。
