【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、住宅の屋内の階段の壁面、或いは廊下の壁面等に設けられる手摺を形成するために用いられる木製の握り棒に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来から、住宅内の階段や廊下の壁面に棒状の手摺を取付けることが行われている。このような手摺として、例えば、図５（ａ）に示すように棒状の手摺本体１０１がブラケット１０２に取付られ、該ブラケット１０２が壁面１００に固定されている手摺が公知である（例えば特許文献１参照）。

また図５（ｂ）に示すように、直線状の棒状体１０３と該棒状体１０３の両端に取付られるアール状部材１０４とから手摺本体を構成し、アール状部材１０４を壁面固定部材として、該アール状部材１０４の端面をねじ等で壁面１００に取付てなる手摺が公知である。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記従来の手摺はいずれも、壁面に取付る場合、手摺本体とは別体の部品として構成される取付部材１０２及びアール状部材１０４等の金物が必要である。しかし別体の部品を準備することは、手間がかかるという問題がある。更に部品点数が増えると部品の管理が繁雑になってしまう。

また、高級感を出すために木製の手摺が用いられることが多い。その場合、上記従来の手摺では、手摺本体や棒状体が木製であっても、取付部材が金属製の金物では、意匠的な統一感がなくなってしまう。また、手摺本体を木製として高級感を出しても、取付金具が金属では見た目が良くないので意匠性が低下するという問題があった。

本発明は上記従来技術の欠点を解消するためになされたものであり、手摺棒として利用可能であり、施工する際に別体の取付金具を必要とせずに、意匠的に優れた握り棒を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、
（１）木製の棒状体であり、直線状の握り部及び該握り部の両端のアール部とが一体に形成されており、アール部の曲面に凹部が形成され、該凹部内にアール部の端面に貫通する止ねじ用貫通穴が設けられ、該貫通穴を覆うアール部の凹部に化粧部材が取外し可能に嵌合されており、化粧部材嵌合後のアール部がアール部の表面と面一に形成されていることを特徴とする木製握り棒、
（２）握り部とアール部との境界に、切断用の溝状凹部が設けられている上記（１）記載の木製握り棒、
を要旨とするものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施態様について図面に基づき詳細に説明する。図１は本発明木製握り棒の一態様を示す外観斜視図である。図１に示すように本発明木製握り棒１は、木製の直線の棒状の握り部２及び該握り部２の両端にアール部３、３が一体に形成されている。なおアール部３は９０度の角度に湾曲している。なお図中６は後述する嵌合溝に取付られた化粧部材、８は握り部２とアール部３との境界に形成された切断用の切欠き溝である。

図２は図１の木製握り棒の端部付近の分解斜視図である。アール部３には図２に示すように、握り棒１の端部となるアール部端面３１に貫通する固定用穴４が設けられている。固定用穴４は、表面から一定の深さに設けられた嵌合溝５内に設けられている。嵌合溝５には化粧部材６が嵌合することで、固定用穴４を覆うと共に、図１に示すように化粧部材６を嵌合した後の嵌合溝５の表面がアール部３の他の表面と面一になるように、化粧部材６が形成されている。

図１に示す握り棒１は壁面に固定することで手摺を構築することが出来る。具体的には、図２に示すように、貫通穴４には木ねじ７等を通し、アール部端面３１が壁面等に接するようにして固定する。その後、化粧部材６を嵌合溝５に取付て、貫通穴４を覆う。

化粧部材６を嵌合溝５に取付るには、図３に示すように、まず化粧部材６の端部が突起１０の後方になる位置（凹部９と突起１０が接触しない位置）で嵌合させる。そして、嵌合溝５の突起１０が化粧部材６の凹部９に挿入する方向にスライドさせて、化粧部材６の端面６ａがアール部端面３１と面一になるまで押込む。そうすると、化粧部材６の表面とアール部３の表面とが面一になるように固定できる。

【発明の効果】
本発明握り棒は、木製の棒状体であり、直線状の握り部及び該握り部の両端のアール部とが一体に形成されており、アール部の曲面に凹部が形成され、該凹部内にアール部の端面に貫通する止ねじ用貫通穴が設けられ、該貫通穴を覆うアール部の凹部に化粧部材が取外し可能に嵌合されており、化粧部材嵌合後のアール部がアール部の表面と面一に形成されていることにより、手摺棒として手摺の形成に利用可能であり、その手摺を施工する際に別体の取付金具が不要であり、更にアール部と握り部とが一体の木製であるから従来のように金属制取付部材の如き金物を使用しないために意匠的に優れた手すりを構成することができる。
