例えば、かばんに設けた小物入れポケットに携帯電話を収納する場合、風雨からの携帯電話の保護や、小物入れポケットのコンパクト化のために、一般には、小物入れポケットに携帯電話のほぼ全体を収納して蓋部を閉じるようになっている。しかし、携帯電話を把持しにくくなって小物入れポケットから取り出すのに不便であった。ちなみに、本出願人は、特願2002−157965号や特願2003−30891号において、各種小物入れポケットを提供している。

図1(a)(b)に示すかばんBは、小物入れポケットを有するウエストバッグであって、ポケット袋部としての携帯電話収納部1と、ポケット支持部としてのカバーケース2とを備えている。この携帯電話収納部1は、図2に示すように前壁部3aと後壁部3bと左壁部3cと右壁部3dと底壁部3eとを有している収納袋部3と、この収納袋部3の右壁部3dに取着された蓋部5とを備えている。この蓋部5の内側には面ファスナー5aが取着されている。この蓋部5は、収納袋部3において各壁部3a,3b,3c,3d間で底壁部3eに面する小物出入口4を開閉する。この収納袋部3内には後で詳述する携帯電話出入補助手段6(小物出入補助手段)が設けられている。図2に示すように、前記カバーケース2は、互いに相対向する前側壁部7及び後側壁部8と、この前側壁部7の左端部と後側壁部8の左端部との間の左側壁部9(蓋壁部)と、この左側壁部9の下端部から前後両側壁部7,8の下端部に沿って延びる底壁部10とを有している。この前側壁部7の上端部と後側壁部8の上端部との間、この前側壁部7の右端部と後側壁部8の右端部との間、この底壁部10の右端部と前側壁部7の下端部と後側壁部8の下端部との間は、それぞれ開放されている。後側壁部8の外側には環状の腰バンド取付部11がその一端部で取着されているとともにその他端部でホック12により着脱可能に取り付けられている。
