TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a hand-drying device for hygienically drying wet hands after washing, and more particularly to a high-speed air blower in the latter half of the hand-drying process so that a high-speed air stream does not collide with a water receiver. The present invention relates to a hand dryer that reduces the noise by moving the flow direction and the relative position of a water receiver.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As a conventional apparatus for drying wet hands after washing, there is a hand drying apparatus for drying hands by blowing off water droplets attached to hands with a high-speed air flow. For example, it has a hand insertion portion which is open front and side and has a back surface and a bottom surface as water receiving portions, and a high-speed air flow is blown out from the hand insertion portion by an air nozzle.
When a wet hand is inserted into the hand insertion portion and a high-speed air stream is applied, moisture attached to the hand is blown off, and the hand dries in a very short time. Water droplets blown from the hand are collected by the water receiving portion of the hand insertion portion and stored in a drain tank (for example, see Patent Document 1).

[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
A conventional hand drying apparatus applies high-speed airflow blown from a nozzle to a wet hand to blow off water droplets to dry hands. Water droplets blown from hands move on the high-speed airflow. Therefore, in order to efficiently collect water droplets, it is necessary to provide a water receiving portion in a direction in which the high-speed air flow is ejected. However, the high-speed air flow hits the water receiving portion, which causes noise.
[0005]
The present invention has been made in order to solve the above-described problems, and has as its object to provide a hand dryer that can reduce noise.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The hand drying device according to the present invention includes a hand insertion portion through which a hand can be inserted and withdrawn, a nozzle that blows out a high-speed air flow, and a water receiving portion that collects water droplets blown off by the nozzle. The water receiver is positioned in the direction of the air blown out from the nozzle, and the positional relationship is changed so that the water receiver is no longer positioned in the direction of the air blown out of the nozzle over time.
[0007]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
[Embodiment 1]
FIG. 1 is a longitudinal sectional view of a hand drying apparatus according to Embodiment 1 of the present invention, and shows a hand drying apparatus for drying hands by a high-speed air flow that is a working fluid that blows away moisture. In the hand drying device, a main body 1 having a hand insertion port 3a on the front forms an outer shell, and a hand insertion section 3 is provided as a processing space following the hand insertion port 3a. Then, a high-pressure airflow generator 2 is incorporated in the main body 1, and the high-pressure airflow is sent to the vicinity of the hand insertion port 3 a to form a high-speed airflow in the hand insertion portion 3. Has become.
[0008]
The hand insertion part 3 is formed in the front part of the main body 1, and is formed in an open sink shape in which the front and both side faces are open and the hand can be freely inserted and withdrawn, and the water receiving part 4 provided in the hand insertion part 3 has In addition, a barrier structure 5 is provided at the end edge of the curved surface structure so as to prevent water from splashing laterally or forward. The bottom of the water receiving portion 4 is inclined downward toward the front, and a drain port 6 is provided at the lowermost portion. Below the water receiver 4, a drain container 7 having an open container structure for storing water dropped from a drain port 6 is detachably attached.
The wall surface of the hand insertion portion 3 is coated or impregnated with a water-repellent material such as a silicon-based or fluorine-based material, or titanium oxide, or an antibacterial agent. The aim is to reduce bacterial growth.
[0009]
The high-pressure air flow generating device 2 includes a DC brushless motor (which may be a normal commutator motor or an induction motor), a driving circuit for driving the brushless motor, and a turbo fan rotated by the DC brushless motor. It is attached directly above the hand insertion section 3 of the first box body with the intake side facing the back.
On the back side of the main body 1, there is provided an intake passage 7 which is opened vertically in the vicinity of the back side of the back side of the hand insertion portion 3 and whose lower end is open. 7, air can be sucked from the lower end of the intake passage 7 through a removable air filter 8.
[0010]
The outlet of the high-pressure air flow generator 2 is provided on the exhaust passage 9 side, and the high-pressure air flow blown out from the high-pressure air flow generator 2 faces the hand insertion portion 3 in the exhaust passage 9. An air nozzle 10 capable of freely changing the blow angle and a heater 11 for heating the high-pressure air flow blown from the high-pressure air flow generation device 2 to generate hot air are attached. The hand insertion unit 3 is provided with a detection sensor 12 for detecting that a hand has been inserted.
[0011]
The operation of the present embodiment configured as described above will be described. Note that the hand drying process using the hand drying device includes a first drying process in which most of the water droplets of the hand are blown off in the first short time, and a subsequent process in which the hand is wet on the surface of the hand. It can be broadly divided into a second drying step for evaporating the water contained.
First, when a hand is inserted almost into the vicinity of the wrist from the hand insertion port 3a of the hand drying device into the hand insertion section 3, the detection sensor 12 detects the insertion of the hand, and a control circuit (not shown) detects this insertion detection signal. After the processing, the high-pressure air flow generator 2 is operated, and the heater 11 is energized. When the high-pressure air flow generator 2 operates, air is sucked through the air filter 8, passes through the intake passage 7 and is sucked into the high-pressure air generator 2. The air is converted into high-pressure air by the high-pressure air generator 2, discharged into the exhaust passage 9, warmed by the heater 11, and turned into a high-speed air flow having kinetic energy by the air nozzle 10. 3 is blown out.
[0012]
At the beginning of the operation of the high-pressure air flow generator 2, the high-speed air flow blown from the air nozzle 10 is directed to the back side of the hand insertion portion 3, and the water receiving portion 4 is located in the direction A thereof. For this reason, when the high-speed air flow ejected from the air nozzle 10 hits the wet hand in the hand insertion part 3, the water droplets on the hand are blown off and move on the high-speed air flow, and the high-speed air flow direction A And is stored in the drain container 7 through the drain port 6. Thus, the first drying process in which most of the water droplets of the hand are blown off in the first short time is completed.
[0013]
When the timer or the like detects the elapse of a certain period of time in the first drying process, the process proceeds to the second drying process of evaporating moisture moistened on the surface of the hand. That is, the blowing direction of the high-speed airflow from the air nozzle 10 changes from the direction A toward the back side to the direction B toward the front side, and the water receiving portion 4 is not positioned in the direction B of the high-speed airflow. In this state, the hand is further dried by the high-speed air flow.
At this time, the high-speed air flow from the air nozzle is not received by the water receiving portion 4, but most of the water droplets have already been blown off and the water droplets hardly scatter, so the water droplets on the floor etc. And the high-speed airflow does not directly hit the water receiving portion 4, so that noise generation is greatly reduced.
[0014]
In this way, when the first and second drying processes are completed and the hand is in a dry state and the hand is removed from the hand insertion section 3, the detection sensor 12 stops detecting the hand, and the high-pressure air flow generator 2 and the heater 11 Is stopped, and the blowing direction of the high-speed airflow from the air nozzle 10 is also returned from the blowing direction B to the initial direction A, that is, the back position of the hand insertion portion 3 that is the initial position.
[0015]
According to the present embodiment, the drying performance is not impaired, the water droplets do not scatter on the floor or the like at the time of collecting the water droplets, the noise during use can be reduced, and the structure is simple and the usability is good.
[0016]
[Embodiment 2]
FIG. 2 is a vertical sectional view of a hand drying device according to Embodiment 2 of the present invention. The same parts as those in the first embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals, and description thereof will be omitted. In the first embodiment, the direction of the high-speed airflow blown from the air nozzle is changed, but in the present embodiment, the water receiver 4 is configured to be movable in the front-rear direction.
In the figure, an air nozzle 10 a having a blowing direction fixed substantially vertically downward is attached to the exhaust passage 9 so as to face the hand insertion portion 3.
In addition, a water receiver moving part 4a that moves back and forth in a substantially horizontal direction is provided on the bottom surface of the water receiver 4, and a front side position D ( It is possible to automatically move from the front side position indicated by the broken line) to the back side position E of the main body 1 where the high-speed airflow does not hit (the back side position indicated by the solid line).
[0017]
The operation of the present embodiment configured as described above will be described. When a hand is inserted into the hand insertion portion 3 from the hand insertion opening 3a of the hand drying device, the detection sensor 12 detects the hand insertion, the high-pressure air flow generator 2 and the heater 11 are operated, and the high-speed air nozzle 10a Airflow is generated. At that time, that is, in the first step of the drying step, the water receiving moving part 4a of the water receiving part 4 is located on the front side of the main body 1, that is, in the blowing direction C of the high-speed air flow (the position of the broken line in the figure). D), collecting water droplets flying from a hand in a high-speed air flow.
[0018]
Then, after a certain period of time, which is the first drying process, has elapsed, and most of the water droplets have been blown, a second drying process for evaporating the moisture moistened on the surface of the hand is started. That is, after the elapsed time is measured by a timer or the like, the water receiving moving part 4a of the water receiving part 4 is moved from the near side of the main body 1 (broken position D in the figure) to the far side of the main body 1 (solid line position E in the figure). ) So that the water receiving moving part 4a of the water receiving part 4 is not located in the blowing direction C of the high-speed air flow from the air nozzle 10a. In this state, the hand is further dried by the high-speed air flow.
At this time, the high-speed airflow does not hit the water receiving moving part 4a of the water receiving part 4, so that the noise generated there is greatly reduced.
[0019]
According to the present embodiment, the drying performance is not impaired, the water droplets do not scatter on the floor or the like at the time of use, the noise at the time of use can be reduced, and the structure is simple and the usability is good.
[0020]
【The invention's effect】
As is clear from the above description, according to the present invention, the drying performance is not impaired, there is no water droplet scattering on the floor or the like at the time of use, the noise at the time of use can be reduced, and the structure is simple, An easy-to-use hand drying device can be obtained.
