Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waistband type disposable diaper with which the user hardly gets musty and hardly causes leakage. <P>SOLUTION: This disposable diaper 1 is constituted so that the user may wear the diaper by fixing the fixing section 20 of the diaper to the left and right waistband sections 10 and 10 of the diaper or their vicinities after the waistband sections 10 and 10 are fixed to the abdomen side or back side of the user. This diaper has three-dimensional guards 7 on both sides in the lengthwise direction and the waistband sections 10 are formed in long and narrow shapes. The width W of each waistband section 10 is shorter than the length L1 from the waist edge end 8 to the end section 62 of the side edge of the leg section 6 of the diaper in the lengthwise direction in one-side portion A in the lengthwise direction. 本発明は、ムレにくく、漏れにくい使い捨ておむつに関する。

【従来の技術及び発明が解決しようとする課題】
従来、展開型の使い捨ておむつとして、液透過性の表面シート、液不透過性の裏面シート、及びこれら両シート間に介在する液保持性の吸収体を有し、使用時に着用者の腹側に位置する腹側部及び背中側に位置する背側部が形成されているおむつが広く用いられており、展開型の使い捨ておむつの中でも大人用の立ったまま装着可能なものとして、上記背側部の左右両側縁にそれぞれウェストバンド部が連設され、左右の該ウェストバンド部の少なくとも何れか一方における先端部にバンド止着部が設けられ、該バンド止着部により左右の該ウェストバンド部を着用者の腹側において止着することができるようになしてあるものが知られている。
そして、このウエストバンドタイプのおむつとして、漏れ防止性能を向上するべく立体ガードを設けたものも知られている（特許文献１，２参照）。

このようなウエストバンド部を有する使い捨ておむつは、着用者が立位で自分で装着することができるという利点を有するものであるが、ムレが比較的生じやすいという問題があった。

従って、本発明の目的は、ムレにくく、漏れにくい使い捨ておむつを提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、液透過性の表面シート、液不透過性の裏面シート及びこれら両シート間に介在された液保持性の吸収体を具備し、長手方向の一方の部位の両側縁部に、それぞれウエストバンド部が連設されており、左右の該ウエストバンド部の少なくとも何れか一方における先端部にバンド止着部が設けられており、長手方向の他方の部位の両側部におむつ止着部が設けられており、前記バンド止着部により、左右の前記ウエストバンド部を着用者の腹側又は背側において止着し、前記おむつ止着部により、前記他方の部位を左右の前記ウエストバンド部又はそれらの基端近傍部に止着して着用するようになしてある展開型の使い捨ておむつであって、おむつ長手方向の両側には、弾性部材を有する立体ガード形成用シートが配されて立体ガードが形成され、該各立体ガードは、おむつ長手方向両端部において起立不可能に固定され且つ固定された前記両端部間においては起立可能になされており、左右の前記ウエストバンド部は、細長形状に形成されており、該各ウエストバンド部の幅が、左右に前記ウエストバンド部を有する前記長手方向の一方の部位におけるウエスト縁端からレッグ部側縁の長手方向の端部までの長さよりも小さく、前記ウエストバンド部形成用のシート材の固定部位が、前記立体ガードの弾性伸縮性を発現する部分よりも長手方向外方に位置する使い捨ておむつを提供することにより、前記目的を達成したものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明をその好ましい実施形態に基づき図面を参照しながら説明する。本発明の実施形態としての使い捨ておむつ１は、立ったままでも装着可能なウエストバンドタイプの成人用のおむつであり、図１に示されるように、液透過性の表面シート２、液不透過性の裏面シート３、及びこれら両シート２，３間に介在する液保持性の吸収体４を有しており、実質的に縦長に形成されている。実質的に縦長とは、ウエストバンド部を除く部分が縦長であれば良い。おむつの長手方向とは、ウエストバンド部を除く部分の長手方向と同方向である。

吸収体４は、表面シート２及び裏面シート３により挟持・固定されており、吸収体４の周縁部におけるウエスト部５の一方とレッグ部６には、おむつ着用者に各部位をフィットさせるためのウエスト部弾性部材５１及びレッグ弾性部材６１が設けられている。

表面シート２は、吸収体４の全幅よりやや幅広の矩形状をなし、砂時計状に形成された裏面シート３の幅方向中央部上に配されている。裏面シート３における表面シート２の左右両側縁より外方に延出する部分は、後述する立体ガード形成用シート７２に被覆されている。
表面シート２、裏面シート３、吸収体４及び立体ガード形成用シート７２は、おむつ本体部分を構成している。

使い捨ておむつ１は、その長手方向の一方の部位（左右にウエストバンド部を有する側の部位，以下、便宜的に背側部という）Ａの左右両側縁部には、それぞれ細長状のウェストバンド部１０，１０が連設されており、左右の該ウェストバンド部１０，１０の少なくとも何れか一方における先端部には、バンド止着部１１が設けられており、該バンド止着部１１により、図３及び図４に示されるように、左右の該ウェストバンド部１０ａ，１０ｂを着用者の腹側又は背側において止着することができるようになしてある。本実施形態においては、表面シート２側にウエストバンド部１０ａ，１０ｂ形成用のシート材１０Ａが接着固定されている。

また、長手方向の他方の部位（以下、便宜的に腹側部という）Ｂの表面シート２側における両側部には、図３に示されるように、連結した状態のウエストバンド部１０に腹側部Ｂを止着させるためのおむつ止着部２０，２０が設けられている。

バンド止着部１１及びおむつ止着部２０，２０は、その表面に多数の錨形や鉤形のオス型係合部材が配された機械的ファスナーの凸部材により形成されていることが好ましく、機械的ファスナーの凸部材としては、例えば「マジックテープ（登録商標）」（クラレ社製）、「クイックロン（登録商標）」（ＹＫＫ社製）、「マジクロス（登録商標）」（カネボウベルタッチ社製）等の市販品を用いることができる。
また、左右のウェストバンド部１０，１０は、少なくとも表面シート側の面が、機械的ファスナーの凸部材を直接係合可能なシート材からなることが好ましい。そのようなシート材としては、不織布、例えばサーマルボンド不織布、ニードルパンチ不織布、スパンレース不織布等が挙げられる。

左右の各ウエストバンド部１０は、図１に示されるように、細長形状に形成されており、より具体的には、その基端１３からその先端１４に向かって、その幅がほぼ一定の略帯状の形状を有している。細長形状は、ウエストバンド部１０の長手方向に直交する方向の幅が、その基端近傍１３とその先端１４近傍（特にバンド止着部１１の中心点が位置する部位及びその対称部位）とで差が２０％以内、特に１０％以内であることが好ましい。尚、左右のウエストバンド部１０，１０は、図１に示されるように、その長手方向が、おむつの長手方向よりも幅方向に対して向かうように、ウエストバンド部形成用のシート材１０Ａを表面シート２側に固定して形成されている。

そして、各ウエストバンド１０の幅Ｗ（図１参照）が、背側部（左右にウエストバンド部を有する前記長手方向の一方の部位）Ａにおけるウエスト縁端８からレッグ部６の凹状側縁の長手方向の端部６２までの長さＬ１（図１参照）よりも小さい。このような構成によって、着用者の肌を必要以上に覆うことがないので、蒸れ・カブレを防止できる。また、装着時のウエストバンド部の動きに自由度が高まり、装着者（介護者）による装着操作が容易である。このような観点から、ウエストバンドの幅Ｗは前記長さＬ１に対して３０〜８０％、特に３０〜６０％、更には３０〜５０％であることが好ましい。

尚、ウエストバンド１０の幅がその長手方向に亘って一定でない場合、例えば、基端１３から先端１４に向かって幅が漸次減少する場合には、ウエストバンド部１０を基端１３側から先端１４側に向かってみたときに、ウエストバンド部がおむつ本体部分と初めて重ならなくなる部位における幅Ｗ（図１参照）を、ここでいうウエストバンドの幅とする。

本実施形態における各ウエストバンド部１０は、おむつ本体部分の肌当接面側に、略短冊状のウエストバンド部形成用のシート材１０Ａの一端部における肌当接面側の面を、ホットメルト型接着剤で接合して設けられている。肌当接面側の面とは、ウエストバンド部形成用のシート材の両面のうち、おむつ着用時に着用者の肌側に向けられる方の面である。そして、ウエストバンド部形成用のシート材が前記おむつ本体部分に接合されている固定部（図２における斜線部）１６と該おむつ本体部分に接合されていない非固定部との境界線１３’が、ウエストバンド部の基端１３である。基端１３又は境界線１３’は、おむつ長手方向に対して傾斜しており、ウエストバンド部１０を、おむつ本体部分と重ねるように前記境界線１３’に沿って折り畳んだ状態（図２参照）における該ウエストバンド部１０の長手方向はおむつ長手方向と平行となる。

使い捨ておむつ１の長手方向の両側には、弾性部材７１を有する立体ガード形成用シート７２が配されて立体ガード７が形成されており、各立体ガード７は、おむつ長手方向両端部において起立不可能に固定され且つ固定された前記両端部間においては起立可能になされている。
より具体的には、立体ガード形成用シート７２は、おむつ長手方向に沿う方向の両側縁部として、直線状に形成された内側縁部と、おむつ本体部分の側縁と略同形状をなす外側縁部とを有している。内側縁部には、スリーブ状の空間が形成されており、長手方向中央領域における該空間にはギャザー形成用の弾性部材７１が伸張状態で固定されている。
立体ガード形成用シート７２は、外側縁部側の所定の領域が、おむつ長手方向の全長に亘って表面シート２又は裏面シート３上に接合されている。長手方向中央領域における該シート７２の内側縁部側の所定幅の領域は、表面シート２及び裏面シート３上に接合されていない。立体ガード７は、立体ガード形成用シート７２における内側縁部側の所定幅の領域である。

本発明のおむつにおいては、ウエストバンド部形成用のシート材１０Ａの固定（接合）部位が、立体ガード７の弾性伸縮性を発現する部分よりも長手方向外方に位置している。図１に示す形態におけるシート材１０Ａの固定（接合）部位は、シート材１０Ａが表面シート２及び／又はシート７２に接合されている部位（図２中の斜線部）であり、立体ガード用弾性部材７１が立体ガード用シートに接着固定されている部分よりも、おむつ長手方向の外側にシート材１０Ａの固定部位が位置している。
本発明のおむつは、上述した通り、ウエストバンド部１０を細くしているために、レッグ部側縁の長手方向の端部６２から、ウエストバンド部１０の表面シート２への接合部までの間が従来のおむつより広く隙間を生じうるので、排泄物の漏れが懸念される構成とも言える。しかし、本発明では、逆にこの構成と、立体ガード７の弾性伸縮性を発現する部位との関係を上述の構成にすることとを組み合わせることで、レッグ部の凹状側縁の端部６２よりも上方まで立体ガード７の伸縮部を配しても立体ガード７の起立性が阻害されないため、漏れ防止性能を高めることができる。そして、蒸れ防止・カブレ防止も高めることができる。

本実施形態においては、図１に示すように、ウエストバンド部１０、１０それぞれがその展開状態において、おむつ長手方向における、背側部Ａのウエスト縁端８側に傾斜している。即ち、ウエストバンド部１０の傾斜方向としては、ウエストバンド部がおむつ幅方向に延びる直線と同方向に延びている非傾斜の場合を基準として、ウエストバンド部がおむつ長手方向のウエスト縁端８側に傾斜している場合とおむつ長手方向中央側に傾斜している場合とが考えられるが、本実施形態のおむつ１における傾斜方向は前者である。

そして、各ウエストバンド部１０のウエスト縁端８側の一側縁１２と、おむつ幅方向に延びる直線Ｌとのなす角度θ（図１参照，以下傾斜角度ともいう）は０°超３０°以下、特に５〜２５°、更には５〜１５°であることが好ましい。というのは、当該範囲にウエストバンド部１０を傾斜させることで、左右のウエストバンド部をまっすぐに止着することが容易となるからである。直線状とすることによって、おむつ止着部を備えた腹側部もまっすぐにバンドへ止着することができるので、おむつと着用者肌との間に隙間が生じにくくなり、ウエスト開口部からの排泄物の漏れを有効に防止できる。

前記ウエスト縁端８側の一側縁１２は、該基端１３から該先端１４に向かう方向（以下、延出方向ともいう）に沿う両側縁のうち一方の側縁である。本実施形態のウエストバンド部１０の前記一側縁１２は、直線状に形成されており、ウエストバンド部１０の基端１３から先端１４の近傍にわたる、ウエストバンド部１０の前記延出方向の長さＬ２（図１参照）の９０％以上の長さにわたって前記傾斜角度θが上記範囲内である。このようにウエストバンド部を傾斜させることによって、バンドを止着する場合に着用者の体型の影響を最低限に抑えることが可能なので、バンドを水平にしかもしわが寄らないように止着することが容易となる。

本実施形態の使い捨ておむつ１を着用するには、先ず、図３に示すように、着用者３０の背側に背側部Ａを当接させ、両ウエストバンド部１０ａ，１０ｂを着用者３０の腹側にもってくる。そして、一方のウエストバンド部１０ａを、他方のウエストバンド部１０ｂに重ねるようにして、一方のウエストパンド部１０ａの先端部に設けられたバンド止着部１１を、他方のウエストバンド部１０ｂの裏面シート側に係合止着する。そして、腹側部Ｂを着用者３０の股間に沿って腹側に引き上げ、図４に示すように、おむつ止着部２０，２０を、両ウエストバンド部１０，１０それぞれの裏面シート側に係合止着する。
本実施形態の使い捨ておむつ１は、着用者３０の腹側に前記背側部Ａを当接させ、両ウエストバンド部１０，１０を着用者３０の背側において止着して装着することもできる。
本実施形態の使い捨ておむつは、このようにして容易に装着することができる。

本実施形態の使い捨ておむつによれば、ウエストバンド部１０を背側部Ａの側縁部９の長さに比して細幅の細長形状とし、且つウエストバンド部形成用のシート材１０Ａの接合固定部位１６を、立体ガード７が弾性伸縮性を発現する部分よりもおむつ長手方向外方に位置させてあるため、立体ガード７の伸縮部をおむつ長手方向に長く配置しても該立体ガード７の起立性に優れており、必要な防漏性能を充分に確保しつつ、蒸れ・カブレの防止性能を大きく向上させることができる。

また、弾性伸縮性を有しない不織布等によりウエストバンド部が形成されている場合においては、ウエスト廻りに十分なフィット性が得られず、例えばウエストバンド部の上縁部と着用者の肌との間に隙間が生じて、着用者に違和感を与えたり、その隙間が漏れの原因となったりする場合があったが、ウエストバンド部１０を傾斜する構造を採用した場合には、ウエストバンド部の特に上縁部と着用者の肌との間に隙間が生じにくく、ウエスト廻りに十分なフィット性が得られる。そのため、ウエスト廻りに良好な装着感ないしフィット感が得られ、また、着用者の肌との隙間を原因とする漏れ等の発生も防止することができる。
また、ウェストバンド部に弾性伸縮部を設けた場合には、ウウエスト廻りのフィット性がある程度改善されるが、その場合には、特定構造のシート材を用いて弾性伸縮部を形成するため、製造工程が複雑化し、また、ウエストバンド部の材料選択の自由度が低下するという問題がある。
ウエストバンド部を傾斜させた形態の場合には、ウエストバンド部１０に弾性伸縮部を形成しなくても、上述した効果が得られるため、製造工程が複雑化したり、ウエストバンド部の材料選択の自由度が低下するといった問題も解消することができる。

本発明の好ましい実施形態について更に説明する。
本発明の好ましい実施形態では、ウエストバンド部形成用のシート材１０Ａの固定部位（図２の斜線部）が吸収体４とおむつ厚み方向で重なっていない。ウエストバンド部１０は装着操作時及び装着中においておむつ幅方向に強い力が加わる可能性があるので、このような構成によって仮にシート材１０Ａの接合が外れても吸収体の破損は免れるので、排泄物の漏れを防止することができる。

また、本発明の好ましい実施形態においては、左右のウエストバンド部１０、１０間（おむつ長手方向においてバンド部基端と同じ位置）に、伸縮弾性部を有していない。というのは、両ウエストバンド部間に位置する領域に、弾性伸縮部形成用の弾性部材が配されていると、上述したウエストバンド部１０を傾斜させて配した形態においては、ウエストバンド１０、１０間でおむつが幅方向に伸縮すると傾斜角度が設計時と異なってしまい、場合によっては装着時にウエストバンド部同士がまっすぐに止着できないことが生じうるからである。

更に、本発明の好ましい実施形態においては、ウエストバンド部１０、１０の固定部〔ウエストバンド部形成用のシート材１０Ａの固定部位（図２の斜線部）〕が、立体ガード７の起立部固定端の位置よりもおむつ幅方向外方に配している。ここで、起立部固定端の位置とは、立体ガードが起立可能な部位における該立体ガードの固定端とその固定端をおむつ長手方向と平行に延長した延長線の位置である。これによって、立体ガードの起立性をより確実なものとすることができ、排泄物の漏れ防止をより高めることができる。

加えて、本発明の好ましい実施形態においては、おむつ長手方向両側部における前記立体ガードよりもおむつ幅方向外方にレッグ弾性部材６１，６１が配されており、ウエストバンド部形成用のシート材１０Ａの固定部位（図２の斜線部）が、該レッグ弾性部材の弾性伸縮性を発現する部分よりも長手方向外方に位置する。この構成によってウエストバンド部１０，１０がおむつ内側へ反ることが防止されるので、装着操作がし易くなる。

以上の説明においては、好ましい実施形態として、主としてウエストバンド部が非伸縮性のものについて説明したが、本発明のおむつは、ウエストバンド部がその長手方向に弾性伸縮するものも好ましい実施形態である。
ウエストバンド部１０が、その長手方向に弾性的に伸縮するようになされていると、▲１▼装着時におむつ幅方向に伸張するので装着し易い、▲２▼着用中におむつ長手方向へ伸縮するので、着用者に窮屈感（圧迫感）を与えることなく、着用者との間に隙間が極めて生じにくい、という効果が更に得られる。▲３▼さらに▲２▼の作用によって、止着部へ掛かる応力が緩和されバンドの締結が外れにくくなることにより、止着部を小さく設計することができるようになる。これにより、バンド全体を細く設計できるようになり、バンド部の排泄物による汚れや吸収阻害、圧迫や擦れ、ムレ等による皮膚トラブルを減少させるという効果が更に得られる。この場合には、該ウエストバンド部の自然長に対して最大伸長率が１．３倍以下となすことが上述▲２▼及び▲３▼の効果を、▲１▼の効果を減じることなく高めることができるので好ましい。ここで、最大伸長率とは当該ウエストバンド部５を自然長から引張り、破断が起きるまで伸張させた時点における伸長率を言う。

ウエストバンド部に弾性伸縮部を設ける具体的に形態としては、ウエストバンド部１０少なくとも基端部（基端１３の近傍部）に、該ウエストバンド部の長手方向に伸縮する弾性伸縮部を有する形態、ウエストバンド部１０の全体が、その長手方向に弾性伸縮する伸縮性シートからなる形態を好ましい例として挙げられる。

ウエストバンド部１０の基端部に弾性伸縮部を形成する他の方法としては、基端１３を含めて、該基端１３から先端に向かう方向に弾性部材（糸ゴム、平ゴム等）を配する方法、ウエストバンド１０の基端部を、弾性伸縮する弾性伸縮する伸縮性シートからなるからなる構成する方法が挙げられる。

ウエストバンド部１０の全体又は一部を、弾性伸縮性シートから構成する場合の弾性伸縮性シートとしては、例えば、エラストマー材料からなるシートの片面又は両面に、ウエストバンド部の長手方向に対応する方向に伸張可能な繊維集合体を積層して一体化してなる積層シートを用いることができる。前記エラストマー材料としては、天然ゴム、ブタジエン、イソプレン等の合成ゴム等が好ましく用いられ、エラストマー材料からなるシートとしては、エラストマー材料をフィルム化して得られる弾性フィルム、エラストマー材料からなる弾性繊維を、ネット状に成形したり不織布化したシート等が好ましく用いられる。前記繊維集合体としては、スリットの形成等の２次的な加工を施さなくてもそれ自体伸張性を有する不織布、例えばスパンデックスからなる不織布等や、それ自体は伸張性を有しないものにスリットの形成等の２次的な加工により伸張性を付与したもの等を用いることができる。

本発明においては、左右のおむつ止着部２０，２０間にウエスト弾性部材５１が設けられていることが好ましい。ここで「止着部間」とは、幅方向に離間しており、かつ、長手方向において両止着部とウエスト弾性部材５１とが同じ位置か、ウエスト弾性部材５１が上方に存在している場合とを含む。これによって着用者肌とおむつの間の隙間が生じにくくなる。特に、ウエストバンド部が１．３倍以下の最大伸長率を有するときに、同等の最大伸長率を有するようにウエスト弾性部材を配すると、密着性が高まるのでより好ましい。

本発明の展開型の使い捨ておむつは、上述した実施形態に制限されず、本発明の趣旨を逸脱しない範囲で種々変更が可能である。
例えば、上述した実施形態ではレッグ部の側縁の長手方向の端部６１よりもおむつ長手方向上部でウエストバンド１０より下方の領域には、あまり側部フラップ幅を設けない形態を前提に説明したが、ウエストバンド１０とは別の部材によってフラップ部を少し幅広に形成しても構わない。この場合には通気性且つ透湿性の不織布のみで構成することが好ましい。

また、上記実施形態における、ウエスト部弾性伸縮部材５１、レッグ弾性伸縮部材６１及び立体ガード７は、それぞれ省略することができる。
また、ウエストバンド部１０の一側縁１２の近傍に、該一側縁１２に沿って糸状ないし帯状の弾性部材（糸ゴム、平ゴム等）を伸張状態で配し、該弾性部材の収縮力により、該ウエストバンドを傾斜させることもできる。この実施形態では、ウエストバンド部１０の一側縁１２側が収縮して、ウエスト縁端側の側縁１２の見掛けの長さが、反対側の側縁１５の見掛けの長さよりも短くなるため、上述した実施形態のおむつと同様の効果が奏される。
尚、本発明では、ウエストバンド部１０に、弾性的に伸縮する伸縮部を設けなくても、良好なフィット性が得られるが、弾性的に伸縮する伸縮部を設けてフィット性を更に向上させることもできる。

上述した一の実施形態における説明省略部分及び一の実施形態のみが有する要件は、それぞれ他の実施形態に適宜適用することができ、また、各実施形態における要件は、適宜、実施形態間で相互に置換可能である。

本発明の使い捨ておむつは、ムレにくく、漏れにくいものである。
