Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner having higher cigarette smoke trapping efficiency and reduced ill effects on health without a feel of oppression. <P>SOLUTION: The air cleaner comprises a blow-out portion 10 having an air outlet 11 protruded from the upper face at one end of a body 7 on which a dust collector 6 and a blower 3 are provided, a suction portion 14 having an air inlet 15 protruded from the upper face at the other end of the body 7 and opposed to the air outlet 11. An approximately horizontal air stream is formed between the air outlet 11 and the air inlet 15. 本発明は、オフィス、病院、市役所等の公共施設に設置されたばこの煙が喫煙空間から非喫煙空間に排出されないようにたばこの煙を捕集できる空気清浄装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、この種の気流制御型分煙機は、室内の一角を容易に喫煙空間にでき、たばこの煙を、その喫煙空間内から流出させず清浄化してから室内に戻し循環させ、喫煙空間内ではたばこの煙を直ちに吸引して他の喫煙者に煙がかからないようにしている(例えば特許文献1参照。)また、空気清浄機において、テーブル近傍で発生するたばこの煙および喫煙者の口またはくわえたばこから発生するたばこの煙も捕集して浄化し、環境の悪化を防止するものもある(例えば特許文献2参照。)。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
このような、従来の[特許文献1]の構成では、喫煙室と非喫煙室を仕切るのにエアーカーテンを利用し、喫煙室側は負圧状態になるように構成するために、大容量の送風機や、エアーカーテンを形成するためのクロスフローファンが必要になると共に、電機集塵機も大容量のものが必要となり、騒音も大きくなるという課題があり、送風機および集塵部の容量を小さくすることができ、装置の小型化および騒音の低減を図ることができるようにすることが要求されている。

また、[特許文献2]の構成では、上部に吹出部を設け、下方向に風を吹き出すため、垂直筒や通風ダクトをテーブル上に設けなければならないため構造が複雑となり大型になるという課題があり、構造を簡単にして小型化を図ることが要求されるとともに垂直筒や通風ダクトにより視界が遮られて圧迫感を感じるという課題があり、圧迫感を感じないようにすることが要求されている。

また、上昇しようとするたばこの煙を上から下に押し下げるため吹き出し風速や風量の大きいものが必要となり、煙の補集効率も悪化するという課題があり、補集効率を高めることが要求されている。

さらに、循環する空気のたばこの煙に含まれる有害物質濃度が運転時間につれて高まることとなり、吹出口から吹き出される有害物質濃度の高い空気を吸った場合、健康上悪影響をおよぼすという課題があり、空気中に含まれる有害物質濃度を下げることが要求されている。

本発明は、このような従来の課題を解決するもので、装置の小型化および騒音の低減化を図ることができ、また、圧迫感を感じることがなく、補集効率も高めることができ、また、有害物質濃度を下げて健康上の悪影響を少なくすることのできる空気清浄装置を提供することを目的としている。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明の空気清浄装置は、上記目的を達成するために、内部に集塵部および送風装置を設けた本体と、この本体の一端部の上面より突出して設けられる吹出口を有した吹出部と、前記本体の他端部の上面より突出し、前記吹出口に対向して設けられる吸込口を有した吸込部とを備え、前記本体上に、前記吹出口と吸込口間に略水平方向に流れる空気流を形成する構成としたものである。

(実施例1)
図1および図2に示すように、モータ1の両軸に送風用ファン2を設けた送風装置3と、この送風装置3の風上にプリフィルター4と集塵フィルター5よりなる集塵部6と脱臭フィルター6aを内部に設けた本体7内の送風装置3の吹出空気流路8に連通する吹出側空気通路9を有し、この本体7の一端部の上面より突出して設けられる吹出部10に吹出口11を設け、本体7の他端部の上面には吸込空気流路12に連通する吸込側空気通路13を有し、本体7の上面より突出する吸込部14を設け、この吸込部14には、吹出口11に対向して吸込口15を設け、吹出口11から吸込口15に向かい略水平方向に気流が形成されるように設け、本体7の上面にはテーブル16を設け、このテーブル16には人が近づくと送風装置3が運転される人感センサー17を設け、下部に本体7の移動を容易にするキャスター18を設け、操作の容易な位置に操作部19を設ける。

上記構成において、空気清浄装置を使用するときには、オフィス、病院、市役所等の公共施設で決められている喫煙場所に設置し、灰皿はテーブル16上に置き、喫煙者が喫煙のためテーブル16に近づくと、人感センサー17が作動し、送風装置3が運転され、喫煙者の吸ったたばこの煙および灰皿上より発生するたばこの煙が、本体7の一端部の上面より上方に突出した吹出部10の吹出口11より吹き出される空気流が本体7の他端部の上面より突出した吸込部14の吸込口15に向かい略水平方向に流れ、略水平方向の横に流れる気流によりたばこの煙は吸込口15に案内されて吸い込まれ、吸い込まれたたばこの煙は、吸込側空気通路13を通り吸込空気流路12に吸い込まれ、集塵部6の表面より略均一に集塵部6を通りたばこの煙は集塵され、浄化された空気が送風装置3より吹出空気流路8および吹出側空気通路9を通り吹出口11より吹き出される循環空気風路が形成され清浄化された空気によりテーブル16の上方に略水平方向の気流が形成されることとなる。
