TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a cable clip, and more particularly, to a cable clip for connecting a main cable and a branch cable in, for example, a medium-sized to small-sized suspension bridge, a building having a cable structure, and the like.
[0002]
[Prior art]
For example, in a suspension bridge, a large number of hanger ropes (branch cables) are connected to a main cable bridged between main towers, and a girder is supported by these hanger ropes. A cable clip is used to connect the main cable and the hanger rope.
[0003]
Conventionally, as this type of cable clip (also referred to as a clamp device), there has been known a system in which a main cable is sandwiched between fastening pieces made of two steel plates or cast steel plates to which hanger ropes are attached (for example, see Patents). Reference 1). In each of these methods, two pieces sandwiching the cable are tightened and pulled by a bolt to increase the frictional force between the piece and the cable, thereby fixing these members. However, in these systems, it is necessary to tighten the two pieces with a force several times the "sliding force" between the cable and the cable, which causes the following problems.
[0004]
(1) It is indispensable to maintain and manage the bolt tightening force in consideration of creep, relaxation, thinning of the cable due to the load, etc. occurring in the tightening piece and the cable.
(2) The bolt fastening portion of the band may protrude from the cable, thereby damaging the scenery.

[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention employs the following means to achieve the above object.
That is, the present invention relates to a cable clip for connecting a main cable and a branch cable,
A cylindrical wedge attached to the outer periphery of the main cable, and a cylindrical band attached to the outer periphery of the wedge and to which the branch cable is attached,
An outer periphery of the wedge and an inner periphery of the band are formed on tapered surfaces that are wedge-engaged with each other.
[0008]
More specifically, the wedge is composed of a divided wedge that is divided into a plurality in the axial direction. Further, the inner periphery of the split wedge is formed in a surface shape that matches the outer shape of the main cable. The band is composed of split bands divided into two in the axial direction, and engagement portions are provided at both ends along the axial direction of each split band so as to slidably engage with each other.
