しかしながら、上記特許文献に記載されたコーナー役物は、配設の際に、表面側から直接釘打ちして出隅部に固定される。このため、コーナー役物には、釘打ちにともない割れや欠け、塗料の剥がれ等の損傷が発生することがあり、また、露出する釘頭により出隅部の外観が大きく低下するという問題がある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
この出願の発明は、上記の課題を解決するものとして、直角に折れ曲がるコーナー部と、コーナー部の左右両端において内側に一旦折れ曲がった後、外側へ折れ曲がる、外装材端部の挿入を可能とした凹状の差込部と、差込部から平板状に左右両方向に延びる固定部とを有し、鋼板から形成されたベース部材と、
