本発明は、鶏卵を等階級別に選別し、1つの包装場所で異なった等階級の鶏卵に対して包装を行なう共通の包装手段を備えた鶏卵の選別包装装置に関するものである。

従来、図5に示すように、鶏卵Eを所定の方向に搬送する搬送手段10と、前記鶏卵Eを所定の放出場所で等階級別に選別放出する選別放出手段40a〜40cと、前記選別放出された鶏卵Eを等階級別に集合させるそれぞれの集合区画30a〜30cと、前記それぞれの集合区画30a〜30cに集合している鶏卵Eを次工程である共通の包装手段60に移行させる移行手段50と、前記移行手段50にて移行されてきた鶏卵Eを包装する共通の包装手段60と、前記集合区画30a〜30cに集合している鶏卵Eの集中度合いに応じていずれの集合区画に集合している鶏卵Eを共通の包装手段60に移行させるべきかを決定するとともに、該当する集合区画から所定包装単位の鶏卵Eを共通の包装手段60まで移行させ、共通の包装手段60にて当該鶏卵Eのサイズに応じた包装箱Bに包装するよう制御する決定手段(図示せず)とから構成された鶏卵の選別包装装置Tが公知である(例えば、特許文献1参照。)。

つぎに、前記構成からなる鶏卵の選別包装装置Tの操業例について説明する。
(1)搬送手段10にてX´方向に搬送された鶏卵Eは、選別放出手段40a〜40cによって所定の放出場所で等階級別に選別放出され、等階級別の集合区画30a〜30cに集合する。
(2)図示しない決定手段は、それぞれの集合区画30a〜30cに集合している鶏卵Eのサイズおよび個数を把握する、すなわち、各集合区画30a〜30cにおける鶏卵Eの集中度合いを監視するとともに、前記集合区画30a〜30cのうち、どの集合区画から先に鶏卵を共通の包装手段60へ移行させるかを決定する。
(3)前記決定手段は、移行手段50を制御して該当する集合区画から所定包装単位の鶏卵Eを共通の包装手段60まで移行させ、前記鶏卵Eを共通の包装手段60において当該鶏卵Eのサイズに応じた包装箱Bに包装するよう制御する。
(4)前記鶏卵Eの包装箱Bへの包装が完了する前に、前記決定手段が次の所定包装単位の鶏卵Eをいずれの集合区画から共通の包装手段60に移行させるかを決定し、該当する集合区画から所定包装単位の鶏卵Eを共通の包装手段60まで移行させる制御を行なう。以降、この制御を繰り返す。

したがって、前記鶏卵の選別包装装置Tは、図示しない決定手段がそれぞれの集合区画30a〜30cに集合している鶏卵Eの集中度合いに応じていずれの集合区画に集合している鶏卵Eを共通の包装手段60に移行させるべきかを決定し、この決定結果に基づいて、共通の包装手段60において当該鶏卵Eのサイズに応じた包装箱Bに包装制御をする結果、共通の包装手段60に移行されてきた鶏卵Eのサイズと、共通の包装手段60に準備されている包装箱Bのサイズとが常に対応するので異なった等階級の鶏卵Eに対しても確実に包装を行なうことができる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、鶏卵の包装作業は、鶏卵のサイズや出荷先に応じて包装容器の大きさや形状が異なるため、当該鶏卵のサイズ等に対応した包装容器あるいは包装箱に包装を行なうことが前提となっている。

しかしながら、前記決定手段にて決定された鶏卵Eを共通の包装手段60に移行させるまでの途中で何らかのトラブル、例えば、破卵が発生した場合、設備を広範囲に汚してしまったり、他の正常卵を汚してしまったりすることを防止するために当該鶏卵Eのみを抜き出す必要が生じる。このため、当該鶏卵Eを抜き出してしまうと、その後に移行されてくる鶏卵Eが一包装単位ずつずれてしまい、前記決定手段は、集合区画から共通の包装手段60に移行している鶏卵Eを誤認したままになってしまう。その結果、共通の包装手段60で包装箱Bに包装を行う際に、包装すべき鶏卵Eのサイズとは異なるサイズ用の包装箱Bに包装されてしまうことになる。このような状態を解消するためには、いったん選別包装装置Tの操業を停止せざるを得なくなる。

したがって、本発明は前記従来技術の課題に鑑みてなされたものであり、その目的とするところは、鶏卵を所定の集合区画から共通の包装手段に移行するまでの途中で人為的に抜き出された場合でも選別包装装置の操業を停止させることなく、鶏卵のサイズや出荷先に応じて確実に包装を行なうことのできる鶏卵の処理装置を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は前記目的を達成するために、鶏卵を所定の方向に搬送するとともに、前記鶏卵を所定の放出場所で等階級別に選別放出する分配搬送手段と、前記分配搬送手段から等階級別に選別放出された鶏卵を、情報記録媒体が備えられた輸送用仮容器に収容するとともに、該鶏卵を輸送用仮容器に収容した状態で等階級別に集合させるそれぞれの集合区画と、前記輸送用仮容器の情報記録媒体に対し、当該輸送用仮容器に収容されている鶏卵に関する少なくとも卵重データを含む情報を付与する情報付与手段と、前記それぞれの集合区画から移行してきた輸送用仮容器に収容されている鶏卵を包装容器に詰め替えを行なう際に、当該鶏卵の移行に用いられた輸送用仮容器の情報記録媒体内に付与されている情報を読み取り、当該情報に基づいて詰め替えを行なう共通の包装手段とから構成したものである。

以下、添付図面を参照して本発明の実施形態について説明する。図1は、本発明にかかる鶏卵の選別包装装置の第1実施形態を説明する平面図である。なお、本明細書では、選別対象物である鶏卵の等階級を、鶏卵の取引規格である卵重区分で説明する。

図1に示すように、鶏卵の選別包装装置T(以下、単に装置Tという。)は、大略、鶏卵EをX方向に搬送する単列の搬送手段1を配置するとともに、前記搬送手段1における直線搬送経路の所定位置に鶏卵EをY方向に搬送して該搬送手段1に供給する供給コンベア2を設け、前記搬送手段1における搬送経路上の所定位置で前記鶏卵Eを該搬送手段1から等階級別に選別放出する複数の選別放出手段4a〜4cと、前記選別放出手段4a〜4cから選別放出された鶏卵Eを等階級別に集合させる複数の集合区画3a〜3cと、前記集合区画3a〜3cに集合している鶏卵Eを次工程の共通の包装手段6に移行させる移行手段5と、前記移行手段5にて移行されてきた異なる等階級の鶏卵Eに対して包装を行なう共通の包装手段6とを設けた構成となっている。

前記供給コンベア2の上流側には、図示しない鶏卵Eの方向を揃える方向整列部と、鶏卵Eを温水等で洗浄したのち乾燥させる洗卵・乾燥部と、ひび卵、汚卵、血卵あるいは腐敗卵等の不良卵を検出してそれらを除外する検卵部とを備えており、さらに、該供給コンベア2の排出端には、鶏卵Eの卵重を計量する計量器2aと、前記供給コンベア2から供給された鶏卵Eを搬送手段1に移し替える移し替え装置2bとが備えられており、前記計量器2aで計量された卵重データが制御手段Saに送信される構成となっている。

つぎに、前記構成からなる装置Tの操業例について説明する。先ず、情報設定手段Sから情報付与手段(ライター)W1〜W3に設定する設定内容を次のとおりに設定する。
(1)集合区画3aから移行してきた輸送用仮容器Vの情報記録媒体Meに対し「LLサイズ」であるという卵重区分情報を付与するよう情報付与手段(ライター)W1に設定する。
(2)集合区画3bから移行してきた輸送用仮容器Vの情報記録媒体Meに対し「Lサイズ」であるという卵重区分情報を付与するよう情報付与手段(ライター)W2に設定する。
(3)集合区画3cから移行してきた輸送用仮容器Vの情報記録媒体Meに対し「Mサイズ」であるという卵重区分情報を付与するよう情報付与手段(ライター)W3に設定する。

つぎに、搬送手段1および供給コンベア2を駆動させると、鶏卵Eが供給コンベア2に供給され、例えば、6列の複列状態でY方向に搬送される。その後、図示しない方向整列部、洗卵・乾燥部で所定の処理が施されたのち、検卵部においてひび卵、汚卵、血卵あるいは腐敗卵等の不良卵が検出されて不良卵のみを次工程に供給することなく除外し、正常卵のみが計量器2aに搬送される。その後、前記計量器2aにおいて鶏卵Eの卵重がそれぞれ計量されるとともに、移し替え装置2bにて該鶏卵Eが供給コンベア2から搬送手段1に移し替えられ、該移し替えられた鶏卵Eは対応する複数の集合区画3a〜3cに向けてX方向に搬送される。

(e)情報記録媒体Meが備えられ、かつ、前記輸送用仮容器Vを複数枚積載することが可能な移動用受け皿Cを、前記集合区画3a〜3cの排出端近傍の所定場所に供給する移動用受け皿供給部9。
(f)前記集合区画3a〜3cに集合している前記輸送用仮容器Vを次工程の載置場所で待機している移動用受け皿Cに移載させる輸送用仮容器移載手段8a。
(g)前記輸送用仮容器Vが所定数積載された移動用受け皿Cを次工程の一時収容手段7の入口側に移行させる第1の移行手段5a。
(h)前記第1の移行手段5aにて次工程の一時収容手段7の入口側に移行されてきた前記移動用受け皿Cを該一時収容手段7の選択された収容区画に装入させる装入手段A。
(i)前記装入手段Aにて装入されてきた前記移動用受け皿Cを一時的に収容する一時収容手段7。
(j)前記一時収容手段7内に収容されている移動用受け皿Cを次工程の輸送用仮容器移行手段8bを介して共通の包装手段6に移行させる第2の移行手段5b。
(k)前記共通の包装手段6の近傍に設けられ、かつ、前記共通の包装手段6に移行してきた移動用受け皿Cに多段に積載されている輸送用仮容器Vを1段ずつ共通の包装手段6に移行させる輸送用仮容器移行手段8b。
(l)前記輸送用仮容器移行手段8bにより移行されてきた輸送用仮容器Vに収容されている鶏卵Eを包装する共通の包装手段6。
