その中で、制御方法を扱った最新の文献としては、2002年11月発行の文献(Y.Amara,E.Hoang,M.Gabsi,M.Lecrivain,A.H.Ben−Ashmed and S.Derou:“Measured Performances ofa New Hybrid Excitation SynchronousMachine”,EPE Journal,Vol.12,No.4,pp.42−50(2002−11))がある。

図11(a)、(b)では、A、A’、B、Cの各動作点が互いに対応している。

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a vector control method and apparatus for a hybrid field synchronous motor having a permanent magnet and a field winding on a rotor. In particular, it is possible to generate torque according to the dynamic change of the torque command value or the equivalent torque target value, and to minimize the total copper loss consisting of the stator copper loss and the field copper loss, Further, the present invention relates to a method for controlling a stator current and a field current and an apparatus for expanding the operating speed range.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, due to the efficiency of the permanent magnet synchronous motor, attempts have been made to apply this motor to applications that require large torque generation at low and medium speeds and high speed operation at the same time. However, under a situation where the applied voltage is limited, both requirements are mutually exclusive and cannot be realized at the same time. In order to solve this problem in the permanent magnet synchronous motor, an attempt has been made to develop a hybrid field type synchronous motor in which a rotor is provided with a field winding in addition to a permanent magnet, which should be called an improvement. The hybrid field type synchronous motor has a history of improvement of the permanent magnet synchronous motor, and is controlled according to a traditional vector control method for the permanent magnet synchronous motor. That is, the stator current is expressed as the d-axis component and the q-axis component of the current vector on the rotation dq coordinate system composed of the d-axis selected at the N pole position of the rotor permanent magnet and the q-axis orthogonal thereto. A vector control method of dividing and controlling is employed.
[0003]
There are very few literatures on hybrid field synchronous motors in the world because this motor is still under development. Among them, the latest literature dealing with the control method is a literature published in November 2002 (Y. Amara, E. Hoang, M. Gabsi, M. Lecrivain, AH Ben-Ashmed and S. Derou. "Measured Performance of New Hybrid Excitation Synchronous Machine", EPE Journal, Vol. 12, No. 4, pp. 42-50 (2002-11)). FIG. 12 is a block diagram schematically showing how a typical representative vector control method for a hybrid field type synchronous motor is implemented with reference to the above-mentioned document and is mounted on the conventional vector control method. 1 is a hybrid field type synchronous motor, 2 is a rotor position detector, 3 is a power converter, 4 is an AC current detector, 5a and 5b are 3
[0004]
In FIG. 12, various devices from 2 to 8 have a stator current on a rotating dq coordinate system composed of a d-axis selected at the N pole position of the rotor permanent magnet and a q-axis orthogonal thereto. A means for executing a current control step of dividing and controlling the current vector as a d-axis component and a q-axis component is configured.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
As is clear from the representative example of FIG. 12, in the conventional vector control method, dynamic current control is not performed for the field current. For this reason, when the hybrid field type synchronous motor is operated with variable speed, the field current may fluctuate and the hybrid field type synchronous motor may cause undesirable vibrations. In addition, since it is difficult to change the voltage of the DC power source for generating the field current in real time corresponding to the stator current, the loss generated in the stator winding and the field winding (that is, Often, the copper loss) was unnecessarily large. For the same reason, under the restriction of the stator voltage, the speed region of the hybrid field type synchronous motor may be restricted more than necessary. Although it is a hybrid field type synchronous motor that was developed with the aim of simultaneously achieving large torque generation in the low and medium speed range and high speed range operation, there are problems with control as mentioned above, There was a problem that the driving performance and the expected usefulness could not be fully demonstrated.
[0008]
The present invention has been made based on the above background, and an object of the present invention is to provide a vector control method centered on advanced current control that can bring out the inherent characteristics of a hybrid field synchronous motor, and It is to provide the apparatus.

[0018]
In the expressions (1) to (4), the 2 × 1 vector v 1 , I 1 Are the voltage and current of the stator, respectively, v 2 , I 2 Is the voltage and current of the rotor field winding. R 1 , R 2 Is the resistance of the stator winding and the rotor field winding. L 1 , L 2 , M is a stator inductance, a rotor field inductance, and a mutual inductance between the stator and the rotor. Moreover, (PHI) is the maximum value of the rotor magnetic flux by a permanent magnet. τ, N p Are the generated torque and the number of pole pairs, respectively. Further, s is a differential operator d / dt. ω 2n , Ω 2m Is the electric speed and mechanical speed of the rotor having the following relationship.
[Equation 5]
Further, the marks d and q in the expressions (1) to (3) mean the stator voltage, the current d-axis component, and the q-axis component.
[0019]
As shown in the equation (2), the generated torque, the field current, and the stator q-axis current are in a non-linear relationship. This non-linearity means that there are an infinite number of field currents and stator q-axis currents that generate the same torque.

Next, the operation of the invention of
[Formula 6]
When current control to achieve equation (6) is maintained, the copper loss due to the field winding is added to the copper loss due to the stator winding shown in the first and second terms on the right side of equation (3). Total copper loss P w Is evaluated by the following equation.
[Expression 7]
[0022]
Although the detailed derivation process is omitted, the total copper loss P in equation (7) w The minimum total copper loss trajectory that minimizes can be described by the following equation (8).
[Equation 8]
Generates desired torque τ and minimum total copper loss P w The field current and the q-axis current for achieving the above must satisfy the conditions for generating torque in the equation (2) and the conditions for the minimum total copper loss orbit shown in (8) at the same time.
[0023]
FIG. 1 shows a constant torque trajectory that promotes torque τ = 1, 1.5, 2 (Nm) based on the equation (2) on the q-axis current / field current plane using the motor parameters in Table 1. 3) and the minimum total copper loss trajectory was drawn based on (8). The intersection of the two tracks (denoted by a circle in the figure) is the field current and q-axis current that simultaneously achieve the desired torque generation and the minimum total copper loss. In FIG. 1, the total copper loss curve (using the right vertical axis) for the three generated torques is also drawn according to the equation (7). The fact that the orbital intersection indicated by the circles achieves the minimum total copper loss is clearly confirmed from the total copper loss curve.
[Table 1]
[0024]
The above description does not consider the stator voltage limitation. In other words, it is an explanation that is effective only during medium to low speed operation without substantial stator voltage limitation. As is well known, there is always a stator voltage limit. In general, however, the voltage required for torque generation in the medium / low speed operation is much lower than the stator voltage limit, which is similar to the fact that there is virtually no voltage limit in this region. However, during high-speed operation, the stator voltage limit begins to work effectively, and consideration for this is essential.
[0025]
Next, assuming the high speed operation, the influence of the stator voltage limitation will be described. The square norm of the stator voltage is evaluated as follows from the equation (1).
[Equation 9]
When the d-axis current that does not contribute to torque generation is controlled to zero, that is, when the control of equation (6) is performed, equation (9) is evaluated as follows.
[Expression 10]
[0026]
In FIG. 2, on the q-axis current / field current plane, as an example, based on Equation (10),
The rotor electrical speed ω 2n = 700, 740, 790 (rad / s). Further, a constant torque trajectory corresponding to τ = 1.5 (Nm) was drawn according to equation (2), and a minimum total copper loss trajectory was drawn according to equation (8).
[0027]
Based on the above preparation, in FIG. 2n = 740 (rad / s), torque command value τ * = 1.5 (Nm) is input. The current global minimum total copper loss point that does not consider the stator voltage limit exists at point A on the constant torque trajectory, but point A is outside the stator voltage limit ellipse and is adopted under the stator voltage limit. It is not possible. The field current and q-axis current that produce the desired torque under the stator voltage limit are those on a constant torque trajectory from point B to point D sandwiched between two upper and lower stator voltage limit ellipses. It must be. However, not all of these have the same loss.
[0028]
From the total copper loss curve shown in FIG. 1, the field current and the q-axis current that give the minimum total copper loss under the stator voltage limit are currents on a constant torque trajectory, and the current global when viewed from the negative side. The selectable field current and the corresponding q-axis current closest to the minimum total copper loss point. According to this, the minimum total copper loss point under the stator voltage limit of this example is the B point. The point B is not corrected and is the intersection of the constant torque trajectory and the stator voltage limit ellipse.
[0029]
The third aspect of the present invention is the vector control method according to the first and second aspects, and is particularly based on the principle described above. Since the current can be controlled according to the current command value by the vector control method according to
[0030]
According to the third aspect of the present invention, when the field current command value and the q-axis current command value according to the torque command or the like can be determined within the limit of the stator voltage, these are calculated as the minimum total copper loss trajectory ( (8)) or on the stator voltage limit ellipse (equation (10)). When the motor speed is relatively low, the stator voltage limit ellipse is sufficiently large, and the field current command value and the q-axis current command value according to the torque command or the like can be determined on the minimum total copper loss trajectory. In this case, a current command value that simultaneously achieves the desired torque generation and the minimum total copper loss in a truly global sense regarding the current can be obtained. As the motor speed increases, the stator voltage limit ellipse becomes smaller, and the field current command value and the q-axis current command value according to the torque command or the like are eventually determined on the stator voltage limit ellipse. In this case, the current command value that minimizes the total copper loss can be obtained while satisfying the expected torque generation and the limit of the stator voltage, although limited. As is apparent from the above description, according to the present invention of

FIG. 3 shows the state of the maximum torque trajectory using the motor parameters in Table 1 and the rotor electric speed ω. 2n = 700, 740, 790, ∽ (rad / s). ω 2n = 700-790 (rad / s) 3 solution orbits as the speed increases 2n = Converge to rad / s. In the figure, the stator voltage limit ellipse defined by the equation (10) is also represented by C v = 50 (V) and the electric speed ω 2n = 700, 740, 790 (rad / s). The field current command value and the q-axis current command value according to the present invention are obtained by substituting the current at the intersection of the maximum torque trajectory and the stator voltage limit ellipse (indicated by a circle in FIG. 3) with the same command value.

In order to obtain the intersection of the maximum torque trajectory and the stator voltage limit ellipse, it is necessary to solve simultaneous equations by the equations (10) and (11). This solution is given by

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 4 shows the basic structure of an embodiment in which a vector control device based on the vector control method of the present invention is applied to a hybrid field synchronous motor. 4 are the same as those in FIG. 12 to which the conventional vector control method is applied. The present embodiment is an example in which two control modes of torque control and speed control are switched by a switch with respect to the hybrid field type synchronous motor. In the torque control mode, a torque command value is directly received from the outside. In the speed control mode, the torque command value is received as an output of the

As can be easily understood from a comparison between FIG. 12 showing the conventional vector control device and FIG. 4 showing the vector control device according to the present invention, the features of the control device according to the present invention are the field

As clearly shown in FIG. 4, the field current flowing in the field winding is detected by the DC

[0041]
The field current is controlled by the field current controller of FIG. 5 (a) using the controller parameters of equation (15) for the dynamic characteristics of the field circuit described by equation (3) of equation (1). in case of,
As a transfer function G B Is the following equation (16) when the stator d-axis current is maintained in the state of equation (6).
[Expression 16]
That is, the transfer function G of the feedback current control system B Is the band ω 2c It has the characteristics of a first-order lag system with From the second equation of equation (16), it can be seen that the controller parameter based on equation (15) achieves the desired current control band determined by the designer.
[0042]
In summary, if the feedback type field current controller shown in FIG. 5 (a) is used with the controller parameter of equation (15), the hybrid field type synchronous motor is operated under a dynamic state in which variable speed operation is performed. However, it is possible to secure a field current that follows the field current command value designated by the designer with a time constant designed by the designer. As a time constant to be designed by the designer, the same time constant as that of the stator current control system is a temporary guide for the design. The time constant is numerically approximately the current control band ω. 2c The reciprocal of Therefore, the current control band ω 2c If 2,000 to 3,000 (rad / s) is secured, sufficiently high-speed following performance with a time constant of 0.3 to 0.5 (ms) can be obtained. Of course, a higher-order or advanced current controller may be used instead of the PI controller which is a kind of primary controller. In practice, satisfactory current control performance can be obtained with the PI controller of the equations (a) and (15) of FIG.
[0043]
FIG. 5B shows a second embodiment of the field current controller. The field current controller of this example is a feedforward type current controller. In the feedforward type current controller, since it is not necessary to feed back the current as clearly shown in FIG. 5B, the DC

For the dynamic characteristics of the field circuit described in Equation (3), the desired current control band is set as the design parameter ω. 2c Fig.5 (b) feedforward field current control
Transfer function G as a feedforward current control system F Is the following equation (17) when the stator d-axis current is maintained in the equation (6).
[Expression 17]
That is, the transfer function G of the feedforward current control system F Is the band ω 2c It has the characteristics of a first-order lag system with From the equation (17), the feedforward field current controller of FIG. 2c It can be seen that this is achieved. The current control band ω 2c The design method and the relationship between the current control band and the time constant are the same as those of the feedback current controller described above.
[0045]
In summary, if the feedforward field current controller shown in FIG. 5B is used, the field specified by the designer can be specified even in a dynamic state where the hybrid field synchronous motor is operated at variable speed. A field current that follows the magnetic current command value with a time constant designed by the designer can be secured. It should be pointed out that a higher-order controller may be used instead of the primary controller illustrated in FIG. 5B as the feedforward field current controller.

In step S2, the required stator voltage is the stator limit voltage c calculated in step S1. v It is calculated whether or not. If the torque command value or the like is continuously changing, the stator voltage at time n for the torque command value at time n is approximately the same as the stator voltage at time (n−1) one control cycle before. It can be considered the same. This can be immediately obtained from the output of the stator current controller. When the following equation (20) is satisfied with respect to the stator voltage, the process proceeds to step S3 in which processing that is substantially unaffected by the stator voltage limitation is performed.
[Expression 20]
On the other hand, if the equation (20) is not satisfied, the process proceeds to step S4 for executing the process taking in the influence of the stator voltage limitation.
[0050]
A case will be described in which it is determined in step S2 that the field current command value and the q-axis current command value according to the torque command value and the like can be determined within the limit of the stator voltage, and the process proceeds to step S3. In step S3, a field current command value and a q-axis current command value that achieve the minimum total copper loss in a global sense of current are determined. Specifically, based on the invention of

FIG. 7 shows the torque command value τ using the motor parameters in Table 1. * = 1.5 (Nm)
The situation of the solution in case is shown. Even for a singular initial value, a true value is almost obtained in 5 iterations. When the torque command value changes continuously, the desired optimum current command value can be obtained in one or two iterations by using the current command value at the previous time point as the initial value.
[0052]
A case will be described in which it is determined in step S2 that the stator voltage to be generated has reached the stator voltage limit, and the process proceeds to step S4. In step S4, the maximum torque target value c that can be generated by the stator voltage limit τmax Is calculated according to the following equation (24).
[Expression 24]

Value c τmax Evaluate the size relationship. If the relationship of the following equation (25) is established, the desired torque can be generated even if the stator voltage limit has been reached, and the process proceeds to step S6.
[Expression 25]
On the other hand, if (25) is not satisfied, the desired torque cannot be generated due to the stator voltage limitation, and the process proceeds to step S7.
[0054]
A case will be described in which it is determined in step S5 that the desired torque can be generated even if the stator voltage limit is reached, and the process proceeds to step S6. In step S6, after reaching the stator voltage limit, the field current command value and the q-axis current command value that cause the desired torque generation are determined with the minimum total copper loss. Specifically, based on the invention of

[Expression 28]
Here, g is a gain for adjusting the convergence speed to the true solution, and this may be determined as follows.
[Expression 29]
Lmt (·) means limiter processing, where the lower limit of the limiter value may be zero and the upper limit may be a current limit value.
[0055]
FIG. 8 illustrates how the solution is obtained by the repetition algorithm using the motor parameters in Table 1. The operating conditions and initial values were selected as follows.
[30]
It is confirmed that a true current command value is obtained by repeating twice with respect to an appropriate initial value. Note that a large error has occurred in the first calculation, but this is because the initial values are appropriately given. When the torque command value changes continuously, the command value at the (n-1) time point can be used as the initial value, and the optimum current command value can be reliably obtained by one repetitive calculation.
[0056]
A case will be described in which it is determined in step S5 that the desired torque cannot be generated due to the stator voltage limitation, and the process proceeds to step S7. In step S7, a field current command value and a q-axis current command value for generating the maximum torque that can be generated under the stator voltage limit are determined based on the invention of

[0057]
The details of the processing by the
[0058]
Consider FIG. 9 (a). At the time of stop, the stator voltage has a sufficient margin, and the point A on the minimum total copper loss trajectory is set as the optimum operating point. Although the voltage limit ellipse shrinks with acceleration, point A is maintained as the optimum operating point until the stator voltage limit ellipse reaches point A. That is, during this time, the same current command value is determined in step S3 (Equations (21) to (23)). In FIG. 9B, the operation during this time corresponds to the operation from point A to point A ′.
[0059]
In this example, the electrical speed ω 2n = 700 (rad / s) starts to receive stator voltage limitation. However, desired torque generation according to the torque command value can be continued, and acceleration with a constant torque continues. During this time, the optimum operating point, that is, the current command value moves from point A to point B on the constant torque trajectory. In FIG. 9B, the operation during this time corresponds to the operation from point A ′ to point B. The current command value during this time is determined in step S6 (Equations (26) to (27)). Naturally, the current command value changes continuously every control cycle.
[0060]
In this example, the electrical speed ω 2n At point 790 (rad / s), point B in FIG. 9A is reached, and at higher speeds, torque generation according to the torque command value becomes impossible due to stator voltage limitation. For this reason, it leaves | separates from a fixed torque track | truck, and moves to the maximum torque track | truck under a stator voltage restriction | limiting. Since the stator voltage limit ellipse shrinks as it accelerates when it gets on the main track, the current command value is controlled from point B to point C on the maximum torque track. Since the maximum torque trajectory is a function of speed, the maximum torque trajectory changes slightly as the speed increases, but in this example, only one trajectory is drawn to avoid congestion in the figure. In FIG. 9B, the operation during this time corresponds to the operation from point B to point C. The current command value during this time is determined in step S7 (Equations (31) and (32)). Also in this case, of course, the current command value changes continuously every control cycle.
[0061]
The torque control described with reference to FIG. 9 was experimentally verified using a prototype hybrid field synchronous motor. FIG. 10 shows an overview of the test apparatus. The prototype hybrid field type synchronous motor at the right end is coupled to the load device at the left end via a torque sensor. The characteristics of the prototype hybrid field type synchronous motor are substantially the same as in Table 1. In this test, the load device was kept in a free-run state, and substantially used as an increased moment of inertia.
[0062]
Set the stator voltage limit value to approx. C for the prototype hybrid field synchronous motor when stopped. v = 50 (V), constant torque command value τ * FIG. 11 (a) shows the torque / speed response when = 1.5 (Nm) is given. It should be noted that FIG. 11A is a dynamic instantaneous response, not a steady response. The generated torque was calculated based on Equation (2) from the measured values of the q-axis current and the field current because the torque sensor does not have a high-speed response that can withstand this test. FIG. 11 (b) expresses the q-axis current command value and the field current command value generated by the
[0063]
Always set to zero. However, it should be pointed out that the present invention does not force the d-axis current command value to be always set to zero. For example, after determining the field current command value and the q-axis current command value according to the processing procedure shown in FIG.
[Expression 33]
In this case, the characteristic of the minimum total copper loss for only the electric motor is lost, but on the contrary, the power factor can be improved. The improvement of the power factor contributes to the reduction of the total loss including the loss due to the electric motor and the loss due to the power converter. Equation (33) indicates that the d-axis current command is selected to be negative, including zero, but the negative d-axis current command value also has an effect of contributing to relaxation of the stator voltage limit.
[0064]
Although the above-described embodiment relating to the present invention relates to the torque control or speed control exemplified in FIG. 4, it should be pointed out that the present invention can also be used in position control, as will be apparent to those skilled in the art. .

In particular, according to the first or sixth aspect of the present invention, the current of the field winding of the hybrid field type synchronous motor can be stably controlled.
