Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a structure in a vehicle, and particularly to a structure of a front part and a front door of the vehicle.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In a conventional vehicle, a front cross member is arranged at a front end of the vehicle, and a lower side member extending substantially in the vehicle front-rear direction and an upper frame above the lower member are arranged on both sides of the vehicle, and the vehicle has a frontal collision. In this case, the side member and the upper frame buckle due to an input applied to the front cross member and the like, and the front portion of the vehicle body contracts while crashing to the rear of the vehicle, thereby absorbing impact energy.
[0003]
However, since the strength of the front part of the vehicle body is not always uniform, a part that remains without being completely crashed at the front part of the vehicle body is formed. There is a problem that the section must be set relatively long in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle.
[0004]
As a reinforcing structure for a vehicle body side portion, a structure described in Patent Literature 1 below is conventionally known.
[0005]
[Patent Document 1]
JP 2000-206244 A
In this case, a reinforcing member projecting substantially horizontally forward from the front pillar is provided, and the impact beam attached to the front door is positioned behind the reinforcing member, so that the vehicle can be used at the time of a vehicle front collision. The impact force is supported by the reinforcing member and the impact beam to prevent deformation of the vehicle body, but the reinforcing member and the impact beam prevent a crash of the front of the vehicle body at the time of a vehicle front collision, and the impact energy is reduced. Since no absorption is achieved, there is a problem that it is inevitable that a strong impact force acts on the occupant.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
An object of the present invention is to suppress deformation of a passenger compartment while enabling impact energy received during a frontal collision of a vehicle to be more effectively absorbed by a front portion of a vehicle body.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
For this reason, the vehicle structure according to the present invention is a front cross member that is disposed at the front end of the vehicle at a distance from the left and right front pillars in front of the vehicle and extends in the vehicle width direction to the outside of the inside of the front pillar. Also, the vehicle has an impact bar provided in a front door arranged in contact with the front pillar on the vehicle rear side and extending substantially in the vehicle front-rear direction at substantially the same height as the front cross member.
[0009]
That is, since the front cross member disposed at the front end of the vehicle spaced from the left and right front pillars in the front of the vehicle extends in the vehicle width direction to the outside of the front pillar inwardly, the vehicle is not affected by the vehicle in the event of a frontal collision. The input acting on the front end is received by the front cross member, and the front part of the vehicle crashes to the rear of the vehicle while absorbing impact energy due to buckling, crushing, etc. of members arranged between the front end of the vehicle and the front pillar. When retracted, the front cross member engages with the front pillar, but the impact bar in the front door arranged in contact with the front pillar on the vehicle rear side is approximately the same height as the front cross member and substantially in the front-rear direction of the vehicle. Due to the extension, the input loaded from the front cross member to the front pillar is supported by the front pillar Both become to be also supported by the front door behind the pillar through the impact bar, a front cross member displacement in the vehicle rear can be suppressed by the front pillar and the front door behind the pillar.
[0010]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention shown in the drawings will be described.
[0011]
Side members 1 extend substantially in the front-rear direction of the vehicle on both sides of the vehicle, and lower front cross members 2 extending in the vehicle width direction are connected to the front ends of both side members 1, respectively. An upper front cross member 4 and a middle front cross member 5 extending in the vehicle width direction to the outside of the vehicle are disposed vertically at the front end of the vehicle, and the lower front cross member 2 and the middle front cross member 5 The upper front cross member 4 and the middle front cross member 5 are connected to each other by left and right vertical supports 7 while being connected by the vertical supports 6, respectively, and the cross members 2, 4, 5 and the vertical supports 6, 7 is disposed in a substantially vertical plane at a distance A from the front pillar 3 to the front of the vehicle. Conventional of the upper frame and the engine is within is not equipped in particular.
[0012]
In a front door 10 arranged in contact with the front pillar 3 on the rear side of the vehicle, an impact bar 11 provided to cope with a side collision of the vehicle is provided with a middle front cross as shown by a two-dot chain line. The center pillar 12, which is substantially the same height as the member 5 and extends substantially in the front-rear direction of the vehicle, is located behind the front door 10, and is notably not shown but is made particularly strong by a reinforcing member or the like.
[0013]
That is, at the front end of the vehicle, a reinforcing structure 20 integrated in a lattice shape by the cross members 2, 4, 5 and the vertical columns 6, 7 is substantially spaced from the front pillar 3 to the front of the vehicle by an interval A. Since it is provided in one vertical plane, the input acting on the front end of the vehicle at the time of a frontal collision of the vehicle is reliably received by the reinforcing structure 20, and the reinforcing structure 20 is strongly pressed integrally to the rear of the vehicle, While the impact energy is effectively absorbed by the buckling and crushing of the side members 1 and the like in the space A between the reinforcing structure 20 and the front pillar 3, the front portion of the vehicle body crashes to the rear of the vehicle and shrinks. .
[0014]
At this time, the upper front cross member 4 and the middle front cross member 5 at the front end of the vehicle engage with the left and right front pillars 3 respectively. Since the input power applied to the front pillar 3 from the middle front cross member 5 is transmitted to the center pillar 12 via the impact bar 11, the input power is transmitted to the center pillar 12 via the middle front cross member 5 and the front pillar 3 and the center pillar. Since the middle front cross member 5 and therefore the reinforcement structure 20 are firmly supported by the pillars 12, displacement of the vehicle rearward is suppressed by the front pillars 3 and the center pillars 12, thereby suppressing deformation of the vehicle interior. Thus, the occupant can be protected.
[0015]
Moreover, the impact energy is absorbed by the buckling, crushing, and the like of the two side members 1 and the like in the interval A, and the interval A can be sufficiently used for absorbing the impact energy without waste. The impact energy absorption characteristics can be easily improved to protect the occupant from this aspect, or the front of the vehicle body can be set relatively short in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle within necessary limits, There is a feature that it is possible to easily increase the degree of freedom regarding the front design and reduce the vehicle manufacturing cost.
[0016]
【The invention's effect】
In the vehicle structure according to the present invention, the input acting on the front end of the vehicle at the time of a frontal collision of the vehicle is received by the front cross member, and buckling and crushing of the member disposed between the front end of the vehicle and the front pillar are performed. Although the front part of the vehicle crashes to the rear of the vehicle and contracts while absorbing the impact energy, the input applied from the front cross member to the front pillar is supported by the front pillar because the front cross member engages with the front pillar. In addition, the front cross member is also supported by pillars behind the front door via the impact bar, and displacement of the front cross member to the rear of the vehicle is suppressed by the front pillars and the rear pillars. It is possible to protect the occupant by suppressing it. Ri impact energy is absorbed, the interval since it is possible to sufficiently utilized without waste to the absorption of the impact energy, it is possible to easily improve the absorption characteristics of impact energy in the vehicle body front.
