CPU16はまた、現在の選局チャネルの番号を、LCD(Liquid Crystal Display)またはLED(Light Emitting Diode)によって構成されたディスプレイ26に表示する。
【0024】

[Patent Document 1]
JP-A-2002-142180
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the above-described conventional technology, in order to prevent out-of-slice recording, the user determines whether or not it is necessary to set an extended recording time for each program to be reserved for recording, and if the user determines that it is necessary, Must manually set the extended recording time. That is, there is a problem that the operation for setting the recording reservation is very troublesome.
[0005]
Therefore, a main object of the present invention is to provide a content recording device capable of improving operability.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
A content recording device according to a first aspect of the present invention is a content recording device that records content on a recording medium based on a reservation setting including a recording start time and a recording end time, a setting for receiving an extension condition setting including a desired time zone. Receiving means, and time changing means for delaying the recording end time when a predetermined relation is established between the reservation setting and the extension condition, wherein the predetermined relation includes a time relation in which the recording start time belongs to a desired time zone. And
[0007]
A content recording apparatus according to a second aspect of the present invention is a content recording apparatus for recording content based on a reservation setting including a recording start time and a recording end time, wherein the first setting change that delays the recording end time for the reservation setting satisfying a predetermined condition Means, determining means for determining whether or not the end of the changed reservation setting whose setting has been changed by the first setting changing means overlaps with the leading part of another reservation setting, and when the determination result of the determining means is positive. A second setting change unit for advancing the recording end time of the change reservation setting so as to eliminate the overlapping state is provided.
[0008]
[Action]
In the first aspect, the reservation setting includes a recording start time and a recording end time. When a predetermined relationship is established between the reservation setting and the extension condition for which the setting has been accepted by the setting accepting means, specifically, the recording start time according to the reservation setting is a desired time set as the extension condition. If it belongs to the band, the recording end time according to the reservation setting is delayed by the time changing means. That is, the recording operation is continued even after the recording end time has elapsed.
[0009]
The reservation setting may include a content transmission channel, and the extension condition may include a desired channel. In this case, the recording end time is delayed when the channel relationship that the transmission channel matches the desired channel is also established.
[0010]
Further, the reservation setting may include a transmission day of the content, and the extension condition may include a desired day of the week. In this case, when the day of the week relationship that the transmission day of the week coincides with the desired day of the week is also established, the recording end time is delayed.
[0011]
Furthermore, the reservation setting may include a transmission date of the content, and the reservation condition may include a desired period. In this case, when the period relationship that the transmission date is included in the desired period is also established, the recording end time is delayed.
[0012]
In one embodiment of the present invention, the change of the set extension condition is received by the change receiving unit. When the predetermined condition is not satisfied between the reservation setting whose recording end time has been changed by the time changing unit and the extension condition whose change has been received by the change receiving unit, the change of the recording end time is canceled by the canceling unit.
[0013]
In another embodiment of the present invention, when duplication occurs between a plurality of reservation settings, a warning is issued by the generating means.
[0014]
In the second invention, when recording the content based on the reservation setting including the recording start time and the recording end time, for the reservation setting satisfying the predetermined condition, the recording end time is delayed by the first setting change unit. . However, the presence / absence of the overlap between the end part of the change reservation setting whose setting has been changed by the first setting change part and the head part of another reservation setting is determined by the determination means. If the determination result is affirmative, the recording end time of the change reservation setting is advanced by the second setting change unit so that the overlapping state is eliminated.
[0015]
Preferably, when the determination result of the determination means is affirmative, the message is generated by the generation means. At this time, the second setting change unit changes the setting in response to a predetermined operation on the message.
[0016]
More preferably, the second setting change means returns the recording end time to a time before being changed by the first setting change means, or sets the recording end time to a recording start time of another reservation setting having an overlap. change.
[0017]
【The invention's effect】
According to the first aspect, when the recording start time according to the reservation setting belongs to the desired time zone set as the extension condition, the recording operation is continued even after the recording end time has elapsed. Therefore, each individual content can be recorded to the end without performing a special operation for each individual content to be reserved and recorded. Thereby, operability is improved.
[0018]
According to the second aspect, if the end portion of the change reservation setting and the head portion of another reservation setting overlap, the recording end time of the change reservation setting is advanced so as to eliminate the overlapping state. It is possible to prevent the adverse effect that occurs when the recording end time is delayed when the predetermined condition is satisfied. Thereby, the operability is improved.
[0019]
The above and other objects, features and advantages of the present invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description of embodiments with reference to the drawings.

Referring to FIG. 15, when the processing of step S29 or S45 is completed, the reservation number “m” is saved as the reservation number “K” in step S301. When the duplication determination processing in step S37 is completed, the duplication avoiding processing described later is performed in step S303. Further, when the processing in step S41 is completed, the reservation number “m” is compared with the reservation number “K” in step S305. If the reservation number “m” does not match the reservation number “K”, the process returns to step S37. If the reservation number “m” matches the reservation number “K”, the reservation number “m” is changed in step S307. After the increment, the process returns to step S37.
[0086]
The duplication determination processing in step S37 is executed according to a subroutine shown in FIG. First, in step S311, the flag Fb and Fc corresponding to the reservation number "K" are set to "0", and in step S313, the variable W is set to "0". The variable W is a variable that also serves as a flag for identifying whether or not duplication has occurred, and a reservation number of a recording reservation for which a warning is displayed when the duplication has occurred. By the processing in step S313, the variable W is set to a state where no duplication has occurred.
[0087]
In step S315, it is determined whether the main part of the recording reservation with the reservation number “K” overlaps with the main part or the extension part of the recording reservation with the reservation number “m”. If no overlap has occurred, the process proceeds directly to step S327. On the other hand, in the case where duplication has occurred, it is determined in step S317 which part of the recording reservation with the reservation number “m” has duplication.
[0088]
As shown in FIG. 18A, when the extension part of the reservation number “m” and the main part of the recording reservation of the reservation number “K” overlap each other, in step S319, it corresponds to the reservation number “m”. The flag Fc is set to "1", and the reservation number "K" is set to the flag W in step S321. As shown in FIG. 18B, when the main part of the reservation number “m” and the main part of the recording reservation of the reservation number “K” overlap each other, it corresponds to the reservation number “K” in step S323. The flag Fb is set to “1”, and the reservation number “m” is set to the flag W in step S325.
[0089]
In step S327, it is determined whether or not “1” is set in the flag Fa corresponding to the reservation number “K”, that is, whether or not the recording extension is applied to the recording reservation with the reservation number “K”. If "1" is set in the flag Fa, the process proceeds to step S329, in which it is determined whether the extension of the recording reservation with the reservation number "K" overlaps the main part of the recording reservation with the reservation number "m". I do.
[0090]
As shown in FIG. 19, when the extension part of the reservation number “K” and the main part of the recording reservation of the reservation number “m” overlap each other, the flag Fc of the reservation number “K” is set to “1” in step S331. Is set, the reservation number "m" is set to the flag W in step S333, and then a series of duplication determination processing ends. When NO is determined in the step S327 or S329, the duplication determination processing ends without performing the processing in the steps S331 and S333.
[0091]
For example, as shown in FIG. 20A, when a

[0093]
By setting the flag Fb or Fc to “1”, a recording setting to be corrected is specified. Further, by setting a reservation number in the variable W, the recording setting that caused the correction of the recording setting is specified.
[0094]
The duplication avoiding process in step S303 follows the flowchart shown in FIG. First, in step S341, it is determined whether the variable W is equal to or greater than "1". If the variable W is “0”, it is determined that no duplication has occurred, and the duplication avoidance processing is terminated as it is. On the other hand, if the variable W is “1” or more, the process proceeds to step S343, and the display mode of the recording reservation corresponding to the reservation number “W” is changed.
[0095]
In the step S345, the set value of the flag Fb corresponding to the reservation number "K" is determined. When the flag Fb is set to “1”, it is considered that the main parts overlap each other as shown in FIG. 18B, and the duplication avoidance processing of the main parts is executed in step S347. The process ends.
[0096]
When the flag Fb is set to “0”, it is considered that the main part and the extension as shown in FIG. 18A or FIG. 19 have been overlapped, and the flag Fc is set to “1” in step S349. In addition to moving the cursor to the recording reservation, the avoidance menu shown in FIG. 22 is displayed on the recording reservation screen in step S351. According to FIG. 22, the message “Please modify the extension setting of the recording reservation pointed by the cursor” and “1. Cancel extension setting”, “2. Shorten extension time”, and “3. 3 items are displayed.

In this embodiment, the MPEG-2 system is adopted as the image data compression system. However, another compression system such as the motion JPEG system may be used.
[0102]
Although the hard disk drive 34 (hard disk 36) is used as a recording medium, other disk recording media such as a readable / writable DVD (Digital Versatile Disc) and a CD-RW (CDReWritable) may be used. Further, instead of the disk recording medium, another recording medium such as a semiconductor memory or a video tape may be used. In this embodiment, since the recording extension is applied as necessary, in a device employing a built-in recording medium such as the

The present invention can be applied not only to a television broadcast program but also to an apparatus for recording audio such as a radio broadcast program.
[0104]
Further, so-called "no designation" may be set for some of a plurality of conditions such as a channel, a period, a day of the week, and a time zone which are set as extension conditions. In this case, the condition in which “not specified” is set is not used as a criterion for determining whether or not the recording extension is applied.

Further, on the recording reservation screen of FIG. 5, with respect to the recording reservation to which the recording extension has been applied, the application of the recording extension may be arbitrarily released.
