TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an opening history indicating band provided on a screw-attachable cap.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A screw mounting type cap mounted on a container mouth by screw engagement is widely used for various applications. In addition, in order to guarantee the quality of the contents of the container and prevent tampering, a band indicating the opening history (hereinafter sometimes referred to as a TE band) is attached to almost all screw-mounted caps. As a band, a band in which a plurality of inward and upwardly directed flap pieces are provided circumferentially at predetermined intervals on an inner surface of the band is known (for example, see Patent Document 1).
[0003]
[Patent Document 1]
JP-A-2002-104480 (FIGS. 1 and 2)
[0004]
In a cap having a TE band as described above, the cap rises when the cap screwed to the container mouth is turned in the opening direction, but the tip of the flap piece of the TE band is Abutment on the lower surface of the locking projection, the rise of the TE band is limited, and by rotating the cap, the bridge connecting the cap and the TE band is broken, and as a result, the bridge is removed from the container opening. The TE band will be separated from the removed cap. That is, the fact that the TE band has been separated from the cap clearly indicates that the cap has been opened from the container opening.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the TE band applied to the screw-attachable cap described above, in order to secure an excellent opening history indicating function, a cap turning angle (hereinafter simply referred to as a bridge cutting angle) until a bridge connecting the TE band and the cap is broken. Needs to be reduced. That is, since the cap rises along the container opening at the same time as the cap starts turning in the opening direction, the large bridge breaking angle means that the cap is raised until the bridge is broken and the TE band is separated from the cap. It means that the distance is long. If this rising distance is long, the seal of the container opening by the cap is opened before the bridge is broken, and it is determined that the seal is not opened based on the fact that the TE band is not separated from the cap. This is because the reliability of the quality assurance function of the contents of the container is reduced.
[0006]
Conventionally, in order to reduce the angle at which the bridge of the TE band is cut, attempts have been made to form a bridge connecting the TE band with a resin having low elongation or to easily break the bridge itself. In the TE band as shown in (1), there is a limit in reducing the bridge break angle, and at present, it is desired to further reduce the bridge break angle.
[0007]
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide an opening history indicating band having a small bridge breaking angle and an improved quality assurance function of container contents.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present inventors have studied in detail the bridge breaking angle of the opening history clear band provided with the flap piece, and as a result, the tip shape has a large effect on the bridge breaking angle, the flap piece, the center of the tip portion, The present inventors have found that the bridging angle can be reduced by shaping the band so that the length from the inner surface of the band is longer than the length of the both end portions from the inner surface of the band.
[0009]
That is, according to the present invention, in a circumferential opening history indicating band provided in the lower end of the skirt portion of the screw-mounted cap via a breakable bridge,
On the inner surface of the band, a plurality of flap pieces that are directed inward and upward or in the horizontal direction are provided circumferentially at predetermined intervals. Is formed in a shape in which the length from the inner side of the band is longer than the length from the inner surface of the band at both ends in the circumferential direction.
[0010]
In the opening history indicating band (referred to as TE band) of the present invention, the length of the tip end of each flap piece from the band inner surface at the center in the circumferential direction is 0.1 mm smaller than the length from the band inner surface at both ends in the circumferential direction. It is preferably set to be 1 to 0.7 mm longer.
[0011]
The screw mounting cap with the TE band is integrally formed with the TE band by injection molding or compression molding. At this time, the flap pieces of the TE band are directed inward and downward or horizontally. The flap pieces in the downward direction are turned upward by predetermined post-processing or at the time of capping (attachment to the container mouth), and the horizontal flap pieces are deformed upward at the time of capping. Further, the flap piece, as clearly shown in FIG. 2 of
[0012]
Therefore, in the conventional TE band, at the time of opening, both ends of the tip of the flap piece first contact the lower surface of the band locking projection of the container mouth, and then the center of the tip contacts. However, since the effective force point for causing the bridge break is located at the center of the tip of the flap piece, the effective point of force for the bridge break is formed in the flap piece having a concave center portion at the tip. Need for unnecessary rotation, which hinders the reduction of the bridge break angle. Furthermore, when capping the cap provided with such a TE band, the center of the tip of the flap piece passes over the band locking projection of the container mouth, and finally both ends of the tip of the flap piece are attached to the band of the container mouth. It will get over the locking projection. Therefore, a predetermined clearance is provided between both end portions of the flap piece tip and the lower surface of the band locking convex portion of the container mouth, and the height difference between the both end portions of the flap piece tip and the center portion is reduced by the bridge break. Therefore, the clearance becomes useless, and also in this point, it is prevented that the bridge cutting angle is reduced.
[0013]
However, according to the present invention, since the length from the center of the band at the center of the tip portion is longer than the length from the inner surface of the band at both ends, the tip of the flap piece is formed. The length from the folding line can be made equal at both end portions and the center portion. For example, both end portions and the center portion of the flap piece tip portion are located on the horizontal line, and as a result, the effective force point for breaking the bridge is cut. Are formed immediately, and the formation of useless clearance can be avoided, so that the bridge breaking angle can be reduced, for example, about 30 degrees. The length of both ends or the center of the flap piece tip from the inner surface of the band refers to the shortest distance from the both ends and the center to the connection between the flap piece and the inner surface of the band.
