Abstract
Description
【0001】

【0019】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a plastic hook made of a polyacetal resin.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Polyacetal resin is widely used as an engineering resin with balanced mechanical properties and excellent slidability, such as automotive, OA equipment and other mechanical parts, fasteners, buckles, and plastic hooks and other clothing parts. .
When a polyacetal resin is used for a plastic hook, the impact strength and tear strength of the plastic hook itself are important. The reason is that if the impact strength is insufficient, the plastic hook itself is broken by the caulking impact when joining the plastic hook to the fabric. Even if the plastic hook itself is not broken, a crack occurs due to the impact at the time of caulking, and the original function of the plastic hook is impaired. On the other hand, if the tear strength is insufficient, the attaching / detaching force of the plastic hook itself becomes insufficient, and the plastic hook cannot have its original function.
[0003]
Conventionally, commercially available polyacetal resins are often used for plastic hooks, but the balance between impact strength and tear strength is not always sufficient. (For example, see
Regarding the fluidity of the polyacetal resin, if the MFR value, which is an index indicating the fluidity, is small, the filling is insufficient, while if the MFR value is large, the toughness is reduced, and the plastic hook cannot have its original function. There is a strong need in the market for a plastic hook having excellent impact resistance and tear strength when caulking.

[0010]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail. Important matters in the present invention are the crystallization speed and fluidity (hereinafter, sometimes abbreviated as MFR value) of the polyacetal resin.
That is, it is necessary that the crystal rate of the polyacetal resin is 50 to 200 seconds and the fluidity (MFR value) is in the range of 5 to 40 g / 10 min.
The polyacetal resin effective for the present invention is 50 to 200 seconds, and the fluidity (MFR value) is in the range of 5 to 40 g / 10 min. A polyacetal resin having a crystallization speed higher than 50 seconds generates voids (nests) in a plastic hook molded product and cannot withstand the impact at the time of caulking. On the other hand, a polyacetal resin having a crystallization speed of 200 seconds or more does not generate voids (nests) in a plastic hook molded product, but has a low plastic hook tearing force and cannot exhibit the original function of the plastic hook. Regarding the fluidity (MFR value), when the MFR value is less than 5 g / 10 min, the filling of the plastic hook is insufficient, and a normal molded product cannot be obtained. Cannot withstand the impact of
[0011]
The crystallization speed of the polyacetal resin can be measured using a differential scanning calorimeter. Specifically, first, the polyacetal resin is formed into a film by a press heated to a temperature equal to or higher than the melting point, and the film is set in a furnace of a differential scanning calorimeter. Thereafter, the temperature is raised to a predetermined temperature at a constant speed, and held for several minutes. Thereafter, the temperature is lowered to a predetermined temperature at a constant rate, and the measurement can be performed in a time period from when the predetermined temperature is reached to when crystallization reaches 50%. On the other hand, the MFR value as an index indicating the fluidity was measured according to ISO 1133 ('97) condition D.
[0012]
Considering these matters, the crystallization speed is 50 to 200 seconds and the fluidity is preferably a polyacetal resin having an MFR value of 5 to 40 g / 10 min, more preferably the crystallization speed is 50 to 100 seconds. The MFR value is in the range of 9 to 30 g / 10 min. Among them, the insertion amount of the oxyalkylene unit contained in the polyacetal resin is preferably 0.1 to 1.2 mol%, more preferably 0.3 to 0.9 mol%, based on the oxymethylene unit. It is. It is preferable that the oxyalkylene unit is dispersed in the polyacetal resin alone as much as possible without forming a block.
[0013]
The insertion amount and dispersibility of these oxyalkylene units can be confirmed by the following method. First, the polyacetal resin is hydrolyzed with 3N hydrochloric acid at 120 ° C. for 3 hours. By the hydrolysis, the oxymethylene unit becomes formaldehyde, and the oxyalkylene unit becomes an alkylene glycol represented by the following general formula. This alkylene glycol includes monoalkylene glycol, dialkylene glycol, and trialkylene glycol, and can be analyzed and quantified by gas chromatography.

(R 0 and R ′ 0 may be the same or different and are selected from hydrogen, an alkyl group, and a phenyl group. N ≧ 1, m = 2 to 6)

Next, a method for producing a polyacetal resin will be described. The polyacetal resin can be obtained by reacting formaldehyde or trioxane with a main monomer and a comonomer selected from a cyclic ether or cyclic formal in the presence of a cationic catalyst. Examples of the cyclic ether and cyclic formal include ethylene oxide, 1,3-dioxolan, propylene oxide, butylene oxide, styrene oxide, ethylene glycol formal, diethylene glycol formal, 1,3-propanediol formal, 1,4-butanediol formal, • 5-pentanediol formal, 1,6-hexanediol formal and the like.
