【従来の技術】
ファクシミリ装置においては、ファクシミリの送信宛先を登録するアドレス帳が必要になる。ところでファクシミリ装置においては、メモリカードを装着することが行われている。例えば、特許文献１には、不揮発のメモリカードを検出すると、その中の個人情報に基き自動的に設定を行う技術が示されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
内蔵のフラッシュＲＯＭやＳＲＡＭにアドレス帳を登録する場合、宛先登録数に制限が出てくる。
本発明は、外付けされるメモリ手段に着目してなされたものであり、アドレス帳の宛先登録数を増加させることができるファクシミリ装置を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために、請求項１記載の発明は、ファクシミリの送信宛先名称に対応した相手先ファクシミリ番号を登録できるアドレス帳を格納する第１のメモリ手段と、文書の記憶媒体としての外付け可能な第２のメモリ手段と、第２のメモリ手段が外付けされると、第１のメモリ手段に格納されていたアドレス帳を第２のメモリ手段にコピーする制御手段とを備えたファクシミリ装置を最も主要な特徴とする。
請求項２記載の発明は、ファクシミリの送信宛先名称に対応した相手先ファクシミリ番号を登録できるアドレス帳を格納する第１のメモリ手段と、文書の記憶媒体としての外付け可能な第２のメモリ手段と、第２のメモリ手段が外付けされかつ最初の電源オンで、第１のメモリ手段に格納されていたアドレス帳を第２のメモリ手段にコピーする制御手段とを備えたファクシミリ装置を最も主要な特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態を図面に従って説明する。
図１は本発明の実施の形態に係るファクシミリ装置の機能ブロック図である。ファクシミリ単機能機の構成例であるが、コピー機能を合わせ持つ複合機であっても基本的には変わらない。
本ファクシミリ装置は、ＣＰＵ１、ＲＯＭ２、ＲＡＭ３、符号化復号化部４、操作表示部５、外付けされる画像メモリ（ハードディスク、フラッシュカード、ＳＤ等）６、モデム７、ＮＣＵ８、スキャナ９、プロッタ１０、ＮＩＣ１１がＣＰＵバス１２で接続されている。
モデム７、ＮＣＵ８を通してＰＳＴＮ回線に接続されるＧ３ファクシミリ機能が装備され、またＮＩＣ１１も装備された構成となっている。ＮＩＣ８経由でＬＡＮに接続され、例えば社外のインターネットに乗り入れが可能となる。
ファクシミリで使用するアドレス帳は、ＲＡＭ３の中でも電池バックアップ付きのＳＲＡＭあるいは、ＲＯＭ２の中でもフラッシュＲＯＭ等に記憶され、電源オフでもその内容は保持される。請求項において、第１のメモリ手段は上記のようなＳＲＡＭやフラッシュＲＯを意味する。また、請求項において、第２のメモリ手段は画像メモリ６を意味し、外付けされる画像メモリ６の使用用途としては、コピー、ファクシミリの画像蓄積であるが、本発明では文書としてのファクシミリのアドレス帳もこの中に格納するようにしている。さらに、請求項において制御手段はＣＰＵ１がその機能を備えている。

図２は本発明の制御動作のフローチャートである。まず電源オン時であるが、機械の初期化処理を行った後（Ｓ１）、ハードディスク（画像メモリ６）が接続されたかどうかをチェックする（Ｓ２）。ハードディスク接続が認識されると（Ｓ２でＹＥＳ）、フラッシュＲＯＭ（ＲＯＭ２）あるいは、ＳＲＡＭ（ＲＡＭ３）に格納されていたアドレス帳を読み出す。そして読み出したアドレス帳を、接続されたハードディスのある領域に書き込む（Ｓ３）。
この間、「アドレス帳をコピー中です」等の表示を操作表示部５で行ってもよい。アドレス帳のコピーが完了すると、他の処理に制御を移す。またこのタイミングで、「アドレス帳コピー完了しました。登録件数が増えました。」等の表示を操作表示部５で行ってもよい。
また、ハードディスク接続が認識されない場合（Ｓ２でＮＯ）、次の処理が行われる。
なお、上記説明においては電源オン時に外付け可能な第２のメモリ手段であるハードディスク（画像メモリ６）にフラッシュＲＯＭ或いはＳＲＡＭに格納されたいるアドレス帳を書き込むようにしたが、電源オン時に限らず、利用者の操作によりアドレス帳をハードディスクに書き込むようにしてもよい。

【発明の効果】
請求項１記載の発明によれば、ファクシミリの送信宛先名称に対応した相手先ファクシミリ番号を登録できるアドレス帳を格納する第１のメモリ手段と、文書の記憶媒体としての外付け可能な第２のメモリ手段と、第２のメモリ手段が外付けされると、第１のメモリ手段に格納されていたアドレス帳を第２のメモリ手段にコピーする制御手段とを備えたので、多くのアドレス帳を保持することができる。
請求項２記載の発明によれば、ファクシミリの送信宛先名称に対応した相手先ファクシミリ番号を登録できるアドレス帳を格納する第１のメモリ手段と、文書の記憶媒体としての外付け可能な第２のメモリ手段と、第２のメモリ手段が外付けされかつ最初の電源オンで、第１のメモリ手段に格納されていたアドレス帳を第２のメモリ手段にコピーする制御手段とを備えたので、電源オンにより上記の効果を確実に奏することができる。
