Abstract
Description
【0001】

【The invention's effect】
As described above, the present invention forms a roller chain and is arranged endlessly on the main frame and circulates, and a tread chain formed with a groove-shaped guide surface is provided in the main frame and arranged endlessly. A guide rail for guiding the rollers of the tread chain; a plurality of tread plates adjacent to each other and arranged corresponding to the link plates of a plurality of roller chains and connected to the tread chain, respectively; The end of the link plate of the adjacent roller chain is engaged with the step plate shaft, the mutually engaged link pin of the end of the link plate of the roller chain that is not engaged with the tread shaft, A roller of the first kind, which constitutes a roller and is pivotally attached to the tread shaft and formed on the side surface with a sliding portion facing the side surface of the groove-shaped guide surface of the guide rail; Configured pivotally connected to the link pin is provided with a the second type rollers arranged to form a gap between the side surface of the groove-shaped guide surface of the side with the guide rail.
[0025]
As a result, the first-type roller is held at a predetermined position in the width direction of the guide rail via the rubbing portion, and the tread chain moves normally according to the predetermined trajectory. Further, the second type roller is disposed with a gap formed with respect to the side wall of the groove-shaped guide surface of the guide rail. Further, since the second type roller, which does not have a rubbing portion and can be manufactured at a lower cost than the first type roller, is pivotally connected to a greater number of link pins than the tread shaft, the manufacturing cost of the tread device for the passenger conveyor can be reduced. effective. In addition, the first-type roller is guided by the sliding portion on the guide rail, and the second-type roller normally moves the tread chain without contacting the groove-shaped guide surface of the guide rail, so that the movement resistance of the tread chain is small. This has the effect of reducing operating energy. Furthermore, since the rubbing portion is formed on the first-type roller on which the load on the tread plate on which the passenger acts directly, the roller width increases, and the contact area between the first-type roller and the tread plate shaft increases. This has the effect of reducing chain wear and reducing maintenance costs.
