  The present invention relates to applicators for cosmetics, including care products, and more particularly to applicators for applying substances to keratinous fibers, especially eyelashes and eyebrows.

  Conventional brushes, which have been used to apply makeup to eyelashes and eyebrows, have a core of two mutually twisted metal strands, between which the bristle of the brush is captured and held.
