Description

【0001】

Reference numeral 11 denotes a carry-in / delivery section, which is provided in a cash automatic transaction apparatus (not shown).
[0012]
Reference numeral 12 denotes a transport path which transports the banknote P in both forward and reverse directions while holding the banknote P between a pair of belts facing each other.
Reference numeral 13 denotes a transport roller, which transports the bill P in both forward and reverse directions while holding the bill P between a pair of rollers facing each other.
Reference numeral 14 denotes a transport guide, which guides the banknotes P delivered from the transport path 12 to the transport rollers 13 and further guides the banknotes P to a feed roller 15 provided at a lower portion of the carry-in / feed-out unit 11, while the banknotes P delivered from the feed rollers 15 are provided. Through the transport roller 13 to the transport path 12.
[0013]
The feed roller 15 is configured to be rotatable in the forward and reverse directions, and a friction member having a large friction coefficient such as rubber is attached to a part or all of the outer peripheral surface so that the bill P can be easily carried in and out.
Reference numeral 16 denotes a reverse roller, and a friction member having a large friction coefficient such as rubber is attached to an outer peripheral surface of the reverse roller, and is installed so as to face the feed roller 15. The reverse roller 16 is configured to press the feed roller 15 to pinch the bill P. It rotates with the feed roller 15 when the banknote P is carried in, but a one-way rotation mechanism is provided so that it does not rotate when it is fed.
[0014]
The friction coefficient of the friction member is set to be larger than that of the banknotes P and smaller than that of the feed roller 15.
Reference numeral 18 denotes a pickup roller, which is disposed above the feed roller 15 and is configured to be rotatable forward and backward. A part or all of the outer peripheral surface of the pick-up roller is made of rubber or the like so that the bill P can be easily carried in and out. A friction member having a large coefficient is attached, and further transports the banknote P transported from the feed roller 15 and transports the banknote P to be fed out toward the feed roller 15.
[0015]
Reference numeral 19 denotes a pusher, which is configured so that the bill P can be pushed back toward the storage box 2 by overcoming the pressing force of the pressing plate 3 by a driving mechanism constituted by a motor and a belt (not shown).
Reference numeral 20 denotes a bill guide serving as a paper sheet guide, which guides the carried bill P toward the storage box 2 by abutting the lower end of the carried bill P, and guides the fed bill P toward the pickup roller 18 of the carry-in / feed-out unit 11. Lead to.
[0016]
The operation of the above configuration will be described.
As shown in FIG. 2, in the storage cassette 1, bills P loaded in the storage box 2 and having different lengths in the short direction are pressed by the stopper 4 by the pressing plate 3 in the upright position, and the cassette shutter 5 opens the opening 6. It is conveyed by a clerk or the like in a closed state, is horizontally inserted into an automatic teller machine (not shown), and is attached to the carry-in / delivery section 11.
[0017]
When the storage cassette 1 is mounted on the carry-in / delivery unit 11, the cassette shutter 5 slides to open the opening 6, and the stopper 4 is opened to be flush with the wall surface of the storage box 2 and the bill P is released. The sheet is pushed out by the pressing plate 3 and pressed by the pickup roller 18 to stand by in the state shown in FIG.
When the banknotes P in such a state are fed out, the following feeding operation is performed.
[0018]
That is, when the control unit of the automatic teller machine (not shown) sends a payout command to the discharging / feeding unit, both the pickup roller 18 and the feed roller 15 start rotating in the payout direction (clockwise in FIG. 3). Transports the leading banknote P pressed against it in the direction of the holding portion 17 between the feed roller 15 and the reverse roller 16, and the leading banknote P is held by the holding portion 17.
[0019]
At this time, since the rotation of the reverse roller 16 is stopped by the one-way rotation mechanism, the next banknote P taken out by friction or the like to the leading banknote is transferred to the holding portion 17 by the friction with the reverse roller 16. It stops and the bill P is fed out one by one.
The banknotes P fed out from the holding section 17 are guided by the transport guide 14, sandwiched by the transport rollers 13, further transported, guided to the transport path 12, and delivered to the transport path of the automatic teller machine (not shown). It is transported to a predetermined site.
[0020]
When the feeding operation of the predetermined number of banknotes P is completed in this way, the banknotes P near the pickup roller 18 staying in the carry-in / feed-out unit 11 include a plurality of banknotes P including the leading end between the feed roller 15 and the reverse roller 16. As shown in FIG. 1, it falls near the holding portion 17 and stops at a position lower than the bill guide 20 with its lower end slightly bent.
[0021]
When the next feeding operation is performed in such a state, the leading-out amount of the leading banknote P is different from the normal amount, so the carry-in / feed-out unit 11 corrects the following extracting operation and bending of the lower end of the banknote P. Then, a tidy operation is performed in which the lower end is aligned so as to be substantially the same as the surface of the bill guide 20.
That is, the lower end of the bill P dropped near the holding portion 17 may be held by the holding portion 17, and the feed roller is slightly rotated in the carrying-in direction (counterclockwise in FIG. 1) to solve this. Then, the lower end of the banknote P held in the holding portion 17 is extracted to perform a removal operation, and the lower end of the banknote P is set in a free state.
[0022]
In this case, the reverse roller 16 and / or the pick-up roller 18 may be rotated together, and the above-described extracting operation may be performed as necessary by detecting the presence or absence of pinching.
Next, a tidying operation is performed.
That is, the pusher 19 is driven by the drive mechanism to push the bill P back toward the storage box 2 and to push the bill P deeper than the inside of the storage box 2, that is, from the closed position of the stopper 4. Keep in state.
[0023]
At this time, a gap is formed between the leading banknote P pushed into the pusher 19 and the stopper 4, which is smaller than the shortest length of the banknote P to be stored in the storage box 2 in the lateral direction.
After holding in this manner, the pusher 19 is pulled back by the drive mechanism at a speed higher than the speed at which the pressing plate 3 pushes the bill P and moves in the direction of the carry-in / feed-out section.
[0024]
At this time, the bill P is released from the pressing, the leading bill P is in a free state, abuts against the stopper 4 at the closed position from the lower end, the lower end is locked, and is pressed by the pressing plate 3 to bend, etc. While being corrected, the lower end is arranged on the lower plate surface of the storage box 2 which is substantially the same surface as the bill guide 20, and is held in the same state as shown in FIG.
[0025]
Thereafter, the stopper 4 is opened in the same manner as the above-described operation at the time of mounting, and the apparatus stands by in a state shown in FIG. 3 in which the leading bill P is pressed by the pickup roller 18.
In this case, when pulling back the pusher 19, the pusher 19 is temporarily stopped between the stopper 4 and the pickup roller 18, the stopper 4 is opened, the bill P is pressed against the pusher 19, and then the pusher 19 is pulled back. Alternatively, the pickup roller 18 may be guided to and pressed against the pickup roller 18. This can prevent damage caused by rapid movement of the banknote P.
[0026]
Further, in order to minimize damage to the bill P, after the bill P is arranged, the pusher 19 is again moved in the direction of the storage box 2 to move the bill P to the position shown in FIG. After holding the stopper 4 with the pressing plate 3, the pusher 19 may be pulled back, guided to the pickup roller 18, and pressed against the pickup roller 18.
[0027]
As described above, in the present embodiment, in the sheet handling apparatus provided with the storage box for storing the sheets in the upright position, the lower end of the bills staying in the carry-in / feed-out unit at the end of the bill feeding operation is set. By performing the aligning operation, the amount of leading banknotes at the start of the feeding operation can always be kept constant, and a stable feeding operation can be continuously performed, and at the same time, folding of the banknotes can be performed. It is possible to prevent a bill jam.
[0028]
In addition to the above, the banknotes are pushed into the storage box by the pusher, and then the pusher is pulled back at a speed higher than the moving speed of the pressing plate, and the lower end of the banknotes is locked by the stopper that has been operated to perform the sorting operation. With this configuration, the lower end of the bill can be easily aligned on substantially the same surface as the bill guide, and the bill can be bent or the like can be corrected.
[0029]
In addition, since the banknotes that have been held while being held by the holding portion are removed in advance by a removal operation, the pusher can be easily pushed back by the pusher, and the bills can be broken at the time of pushing back. Damage can be prevented.
Second Embodiment FIG. 5 is a schematic side view showing a loading / unloading unit according to a second embodiment.
[0030]

[0031]
The tongue piece 22 is made of an elastic material, such as rubber, having such a rigidity that it does not deform when the lower end of the bill P abuts. The tongue piece 22 has a length protruding from the bill guide 20 when the tongue wheel 21 rotates. Molded.
The number of tongue pieces may be any number as long as it is one or more, but the tongue pieces 22 are arranged so that the tip of the tongue pieces 22 does not protrude from the bill guide 20 at least at the standby position shown in FIG.
[0032]
The operation of the above configuration will be described.
The operation at the time of mounting the storage cassette 1 and the operation of the operation of extracting the banknotes P dropped near the holding portion 17 in the orderly operation are the same as those in the first embodiment, and therefore the description thereof is omitted.
The sampling operation of the present embodiment is performed as follows.
[0033]
That is, the pusher 19 is driven by the drive mechanism to push the bill P back toward the storage box 2, push the bill P back to a predetermined position on the bill guide 20 shown in FIG. 6, and rotate the tongue wheel 21. The tongue 22 is stopped at a position where the tongue 22 protrudes from the end of the bill guide 20 on the side of the transporting and feeding section 11, and is held in the state shown in FIG. 6.
At this time, a gap smaller than the shortest length of the banknote P to be stored in the storage box 2 is formed between the leading banknote P pushed into the pusher 19 and the protruding tongue piece 22. Is done.
[0034]
After holding in this manner, the pusher 19 is pulled back by the drive mechanism at a speed higher than the speed at which the pressing plate 3 pushes the bill P and moves in the direction of the carry-in / feed-out section.
At this time, the bill P is released from the pressing, and the leading bill P comes into a free state and abuts on the tongue piece 22 protruding from its lower end to lock the lower end, and is pressed by the pressing plate 3 to bend or the like. Is corrected, the lower end thereof is arranged on the substantially same surface as the surface of the bill guide 20, and the leading bill P is pressed by the pickup roller 18 by the pressing plate 3.
[0035]
In this case, the tongue piece 22 is deformed by the pressing force of the pressing plate 3 due to its elasticity, and does not hinder the pressing of the bill P.
Thereafter, the tongue wheel 21 is rotated to return to the standby position shown in FIG. 5, and waits while the leading bill P is pressed by the pickup roller 18.
As described above, in this embodiment, in addition to the effect of the first embodiment, the pusher pushes the bill back toward the storage box, and then pulls the pusher back at a speed higher than the moving speed of the pressing plate. By locking the lower end of the bill to the tongue piece that has been protruded and performing the tidy operation, the lower end of the bill can be easily aligned on substantially the same surface as the bill guide, and the bending of the bill etc. Can be corrected.
[0036]
In addition, since the push-back by the pusher is finished on the bill guide, the travel distance of the bill can be shortened, and the damage of the bill can be prevented. Can be enhanced.
Furthermore, by having previously pulled out the banknotes that have been retained while being held by the holding portion by a pulling-out operation, the pushback of the banknotes by the pusher can be facilitated, and the banknotes can be broken at the time of the pushback. Damage can be prevented.
[0037]
Third Embodiment The configurations of the storage cassette 1 and the carry-in / feed-out section 11 of the present embodiment are the same as those of the second embodiment shown in FIG.
The same parts as those in the first and second embodiments are denoted by the same reference numerals, and the description thereof will be omitted.
[0038]
The tongue wheel 21 of the present embodiment is configured to rotate independently of the reverse roller 16, and its standby position is the same as the standby position of the second embodiment shown in FIG. is there.
The rigidity of the tongue piece 22 is set to be weaker than the rigidity of the bill P in the short direction.
The operation of the above configuration will be described.
[0039]
The operation at the time of mounting the storage cassette 1 and the operation of the operation of extracting the banknotes P dropped near the holding portion 17 in the orderly operation are the same as those in the first embodiment, and therefore the description thereof is omitted.
The sampling operation of the present embodiment is performed as follows.
That is, the tongue wheel 21 is rotated clockwise in FIG. 5 and the lower end of the bill P is pushed up along the bill guide 20 as shown in FIG. The lower end of P is arranged on the substantially same surface as the surface of the bill guide 20 while correcting the bending or the like of the lower end of P.
[0040]
In this case, the pickup roller 18 may be rotated in the loading direction to assist in arranging the lower end of the bill P, and the leading bill P is pressed by the surface of the pickup roller 18 on which the friction material is not attached. You may make it rotate and assist tidying.
Further, the leading banknote P may be pressed by the pusher 19 to provide a slight gap between the leading banknote P and the pickup roller 18 so as to assist in ordering, and the leading banknote P is vibrated while being pressed by the pusher 19. You may make it assist tidy.
[0041]
Thereafter, the tongue wheel 21 is rotated to return to the standby position shown in FIG. 5, and waits while the leading bill P is pressed by the pickup roller 18.
